The perfect place for all the K-Pop fanatics!! Leading up to the Blackpink Deadline World Tour, here in LA, my sister did all of her research and had a list of merch she was planning to buy. I can't express the disappointment my sister faced when items were either sold out super early in the day and some items she was eagerly wanting wasn't available for sale in North America. Thankfully, Fandom K was all over our social medias. This little gem carries an abundance of items relating to the K-Pop genre but also specializes in items only found in Korea & Japan. This place was a dream come true for my sis and she was able to find a majority of her wants. Staff is kind and open to help if you are willing to speak up. 4 stars overall. Pricing is kind of high depending on what you are purchasing but I didn't expect anything less since the shop offers items that aren't normally available in the US. As a forewarning, parking is terrible if you are attempting to find something along the street. I suggest having someone wait in the car and swing back around to pick you up once you are finished shopping. read more

Love that they sell individual photocards here. They also have pobs that would be more expensive if you bought them from a reseller. I also like that they have lucky draw machines for pobs and you can buy the album in store without having to preorder ahead of time. read more

It pains me to write this because I've spent hundreds of dollars at Fandom K in the past and generally enjoy supporting small, family-owned businesses. On this particular visit, I drove from Orange County with my daughter to buy her a small treat for doing well at school. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout was disappointing. I brought the Stray Kids "Karma" album (Karma version) to the register, and the price on the sticker was lower than what I was going to be charged. I was told it would actually be $7 more than the listed sticker price because it included a POB, which the owner pointed to on a sticker on the front. The difference was only seven dollars, but that wasn't really the point. I didn't feel comfortable paying more than the price listed, especially when the extra charge was for what could amount to a random photo card. I've also seen this same album available for less at other shops and on Amazon, but I chose this store specifically because I wanted to support a small business. In the end, I walked away from the purchase. I'm trying to teach my daughter how to be a smart consumer and that it's okay to walk away when something doesn't feel right. Charging more than the listed price creates an awkward situation for the customer, and in my view the right thing to do would have been to honor the sticker price rather than put the customer in that position. I'm fairly certain that there are consumer bait and switch laws that make this an illegal practice as well. I did not even want to argue, and we walked away with my kid disappointed. Going forward, I'll probably be more inclined to shop somewhere like K Place, which is closer for us and has never given me issues like this, and generally has better prices anyway. It's a shame, because with several major album releases coming up in March and April that my daughter would likely want, we probably would have spent a few hundred dollars here. I would have preferred to give that business to a small shop, but I can't in good conscience continue supporting a store that operates this way and disrespects the customer. Edited to reply to Business Owner's response: Thank you for taking the time to respond. I do appreciate it, and I want to acknowledge again that I've supported your shop in the past because I genuinely like supporting small family-run businesses. I'm also very familiar with K-pop albums, POBs, and the fact that different versions can be priced differently. That's exactly why this situation caught me off guard. When a product has a price sticker on it, and that same item also has a sticker indicating the inclusion (in this case the POB), it is reasonable for a customer to assume that the price listed on the product is the price they will pay at the register. My concern isn't really about the seven dollars. It's about the practice of discovering a higher price only at checkout. From a consumer standpoint, that creates an awkward situation and puts the customer in the position of either paying more than the displayed price or walking away at the counter. At best it feels like poor business practice, and in many places price discrepancies like that can also raise consumer protection concerns. My suggestion would simply be that if the store carries different versions of an album at different price points, each version should clearly have the correct price listed on the item itself. Expecting customers to infer that a sticker noting an inclusion also means the price will be higher than the listed price isn't something most retailers do, and clearer pricing would help preserve trust and manage expectations. To be candid, I was tempted to just pay the additional seven dollars to avoid disappointing my daughter in the moment. But I'm trying to teach her how to be a thoughtful consumer, and that sometimes the right choice is to walk away when the terms of a purchase change at the register. Paying it would have reinforced a situation that felt uncomfortably close to a bait-and-switch from a customer perspective. I do appreciate your response and wish your business well. My hope is simply that clearer pricing on the products themselves might prevent similar situations for other customers in the future. read more

With other kpop stores nearby we decided to check them all out and ended up here. Pretty good selection on both merch and albums. Merch can be sorta pricey, but if you're missing something thats normally sold out online they most likely have it here. Love the addition of selling pc's which is where they got me. So, I have an autistic pre-teen granddaughter who became OBSESSED with Stray kids and subsequently ALL things K-pop! And so did her younger sister, Mom & this grandma!! We drive about 120 miles r/t a few times a month to hit all the K-pop stores in Korea Town and this is by far our favorite store! Best up to date selection. I was in the area when I saw this Kpop store and went to check it out my expectations were high but slowly went down when I saw the costed of some items the store itself is very stocked but is very pricey. I also saw they had a skz hollow vending machine with hollow cards but sadly you had to buy the album for a token to access the machine. They have an amazing album selection and PC selection. I came here to buy a skz light stick and they had plenty of them in stock along with other groups light sticks. They also had tons of stray kids merch, though it is pricey you'll probably find what you're looking for here. They also have tons of Sanrio stuff, Sony angels, and labubus. After reading the good reviews of this place, I was excited to come here FOR THE FIRST TIME to browse around and check for any goodies/albums of my favorite groups. I was not expecting the service I got today though. I was excited to see that they had a Midas Touch jewel case because they're sold out everywhere and I purchased Haneul's. However, right after I purchased it and opened it in the car, the case just fell apart. I took it back to the store and I told them I still wanted the CD because they had no more Hanuel versions, but I would like a refund/discount of some sort because of the condition the jewel case is in. The man at the counter fully refunded me and I was pleasantly surprised because as a first time customer I assumed this was some type of service. However, when I tried to take the jewel case CD, the man looked confused and said I couldn't take it because I refunded it. I replied back, also confused, and repeated what I had told him earlier. At this point, a woman had also come by and was helping him out. I reiterated saying I'd take a refund or a discount but that it was unfair to charge me full price for a broken case, and asked for half off. They proceeded to talk to each other in Korean, in which they assumed I could not understand or speak. They are wrong. I am Korean. They told each other how this was an exasperating process and how they didn't need to do this/did not want to do this. They said they could "literally just return it to the warehouse" and were basically very annoyed and just were shading me in Korean under the assumption I could not understand. I still don't get what I did to warrant the sneak attitude in a different language. I never raised my voice or got angry and I was pretty nice the whole exchange. I'm a retail worker myself and I never like to leave bad reviews because I want to be understanding of people having a bad day or whatnot. But this just rubbed on me the wrong way the whole way through. They eventually agreed on a 30% discount. I left feeling displeased and disrespected. Please do not switch to a different language to diss your customers in front of their faces. Especially if there's a chance they can understand you. I have attached pictures of the broken jewel case. This store was super cute and ticks all boxes in terms of neatness, atmosphere, and customer service! What impressed me the most was the sheer variety of merchandise available, as I came across items that I have never seen offered at other K-pop stores. There was an abundance of Sanrio characters, Chiikawa merch, and blind boxes alongside the well-stocked array of albums. This is my new favorite KPOP store in LA. They have a TON of Stray Kids things, including the pop ups. Not just Magic School, but the Pilot fanmeeting things from 2023! When I went in, they had a whole set up in the back for them, and told me they'd be getting more stock in at the end of the month.
