Located in the Super Nintendo World is this gift shop that was pretty well stocked, and sold the interactive bands if you wanted. The staff was friendly with prices similar to other areas in the park. It was pretty busy with lots of shoppers, but the flow of the store supported it. I'd stop in again for any Mario merchandise if desired.
So much merch to choose from. It's way better than Nintendo store in nyc. We came in specifically to purchase power bands the day before going to universal studios. However, we ended up buying 8 more items. I was there to celebrate my kid's birthday and wanted to spoil him. The people who worked there are all friendly and informative about the merchandise. After our purchase our cashier took went above and beyond explaining to us how to use the power bands in the park and with my kid's Nintendo switch. We didn't ask her but I like she took the initiative to do so. Great experience!
Stopped by the super Nintendo store while I was at Universal Studios and it was so adorable. The store itself is quite large and they have an amazing selection of items. Everything is on theme, which is super cute. They have all the latest gear for each of the characters while everything is on the expensive side. They are all authentic super amazing quality. Staff is kind and helpful although it does get pretty busy everything is super clean and well organized
Oh my gosh! The store is adorable. They have it all. Anything your heart could desire related to super Nintendo items. They sell the player one and player two T-shirts here, along with a lot of Super Nintendo character accessories. You can find pretty much any character part of like the super Nintendo world. I found some Yoshi items. Even Boo the ghost! I found the cutest coin purse, that was Boo. It was adorable!!! I had to have it. Value wise, the prices weren't terrible. They are going to be higher for in the park and being in Super Nintendo World. I did find some cheaper items like keychains and tiny plushies that were not horribly priced. Service was great. They were friendly and wanting to help. This is a must-hit store in Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios!
Childhood favorite, growing up with a Super Nintendo (I think this location used to be a boba spot years ago if I'm not mistaken) . *For kids but DEFINITELY for us adults.
I did not know that this store existed at CityWalk. A store just full of cute Nintendo stuff from Nintendo World. Everything from clothes to plushies, water bottles, and toys. It was all beautifully decorated, and it looked like something out of the game. I immediately fell in love and was enjoying just browsing around and checking out all the cool stuff that's available inside the parks. I think it is great that this store is available outside the main park so that those who want some merchandise from Nintendo World can get it here or those that never had a chance to go back inside the store to purchase before leaving the park. I found it impressive. I only wish it was bigger; Nintendo World deserves a big store and land. What a great addition to CityWalk.
This is for the Super Nintendo World store at City Walk which I don't see a Yelp page for it. This store has essentially the same merch as the one inside Nintendo World. Lots of t-shirts, headbands, and plushes. The giant Yoshi plushes are definitely tempting. You can also get the Nintendo wristbands here to utilize at the Nintendo World games. It's a bit pricey otherwise I'd buy more. But the staff are great and nice.
I've been playing Super Mario Brothers since it was first released on the NES. Finally, my husband and I were able to book a quick trip to Universal Studios Hollywood to see Super Nintendo World!! On our first evening, a Wednesday, we decided to walk around Universal City Walk! While exploring City Walk, we stumbled across the Super Nintendo World Store! It was amazing walking through the store and looking at all of their merchandise that Universal Studios Hollywood had to offer. There was even a photo op location where you could stand and take a picture of yourself hitting one of the "special ? boxes" from the Super Mario Brothers games!! The store has so much apparel! You'll see shirts themed after some of the favorite characters from the video game series such as Boo, Bowser, Yoshi and so much more! There are a lot of pins, plushies, backpacks, hats, keychains for sale. There was even some decal stickers for your vehicles as well! I almost bought the bullet bill decal! Some of their hats were super cute. They had a Goomba and a Toadstool hat! We were looking for some of the power up bands though to get ourselves ready for Super Mario World at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday. I ended up getting the Mario themed power up band and my husband got the Yoshi one! It was pretty expensive for both bands, but I guess it's required to play the mini-games in the themed area at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park! The experience was awesome and I'd highly recommend visiting this store if you missed purchasing any merchandise in the Super Nintendo World at Hollywood Studios. This store is located close to the Universal City Walk's main entrance.
"Do dodo... do do do do, do do do do do do dododo. Do dodo..." Press Start and stroll into the new Super Nintendo World Store at Universal Citywalk across from Sephora and open daily. A memorabilia shop to all things Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Toad and Browser the originals of the Nintendo and Super Nintendo... Power up as player one or two with cool shirts, caps, costumes, collectable cups, packs(backpacks), pins, toys, and more! The store has a wide layout though it can get congested near checkout. The service is welcoming and the prices are reasonable. I do wish they had a few more characters and games in the mix like Kirby and Zelda, while not as popular as Mario, definitely just as mainstream and likeable. I definitely saw some great gift ideas for my nephews, niece and brother as well as some fun things for other friends and Nintendo enthusiasts I'd double back for. Being brand new like the year I'd expect some small shifts and updates to happen with time in terms of items available and/or seasonal attire for clothing. Overall a pretty colorful store to, "collect coins, earn a free life, spit fireballs and level up." Note: It's a quick ride up on the tram from below. I often take the LA Metro Redline or local city Metro bus over, cross the bridge and enjoy the breezy ride to the top though you can definitely park, pay and enjoy, if driving up. Rideshare lets off toward the back end of CityWalk or toward the front entrance for Universal Studios.
Date of visit: January 7, 2023 Location: Universal CityWalk Parking: Main parking would be at the parking structures and lots by CityWalk. General parking was $10 and Preferred parking was $20. Discount: Universal Pass-holder discounts aren't allowed for these items Merchandise: Plushies Pins Keychains Shirts Hats Collectibles Exclusive merch Experience: I hadn't been to CityWalk in awhile, so my husband and I were excited to see that they had a Super Nintendo World outside of the parks. They had cute displays showing off plushies, T-shirts, pins, keychains, collectibles, sweets, mugs, and even exclusive Super Nintendo World merch, such as the mushroom sippers and Mario and Luigi headbands. This store really got us hyped up to see the new Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios in the future!
We were so excited that they were opening the park soon and got even more excited to find out that they have a store in CityWalk!! We immediately went when we found out. No wait line or anything to get in. It was busy but not super crowded. We've been twice since it first opened and we're pleased to see that they had new items the second time we went (about a month or so apart). This is located across Sephora and the bright colors make it hard to miss. Tons of plushies, apparel, figures, candy, keychains, and many more inside!! I honestly just wanted all the Boo merch. I was happy to get my hands on the Boo headband and was surprised to see they were sold out the second time we went!! I'm sure the shop inside the actual park has more but glad I got it as soon as I could so that I can wear it on our first visit when it officially opens this month! IG: @ammysalamii
The Super Nintendo World at City Walk and also in Universal Studios are really amazing you feel like you are in the game. They have all the characters from the game like Mario,Lugi,Peach,Toad and Browers. They both sell power band that you interact at Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios.
Again, another must if you're visiting Universal Studios AND a SUPER MUST if you're a Nintendo fan. I only recently got to visit after several years and like the rest of the "Nintendo Land", I was blown away by this gift shop. Super high ceilings, incredibly themed and detailed with decor and small details (pipes to hold plushies?? Genius). I visited during Fan Fest nights and it was a bit more crowded with a decent line but makes sense since the Mario Kart ride feeds into the shop and people were already lingering around after meeting the colorful Yoshis. Despite the line, the workers were very friendly, did their work with a smile, and were efficient. There is A LOT of merchandise here. Of course, there's the classic Mario characters like Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, etc. but you also have some other dedicated areas for other characters like Boo (friend got a cute reversible Boo beret) and other enemies like the Shy Guys and Bomb-Ombs, and characters from other franchises like Pikmin! Super cute. They also apparently have Chef Toad merchandise (a lot of it for the Toadstool Cafe) and I guess he doesn't exist elsewhere in the franchise? Pretty rare and neat. Lots of cute headbands, plushies, clothes, accessories, toys, and I know that since not only is the IP originally Japanese but the fact that the merchandise is the same from USJ makes the design much more cute and pleasing (at least to me). Prices range from reasonable to a bit more hefty (but makes sense if you're getting a giant Yoshi plushie). Friend got some Boo goods because unless you order online or secondhand, it'd be hard to get. I'll definitely visit again1 read more
Located at Universal CityWalk. The store's bright color lights drew me in like a moth to a flame. I personally love Super Mario Brothers. It brings back that youthful feeling of sitting in front of a small little TV and a Nintendo controller for hours (8 bit all the way!). Everything inside the store was so incredibly cute. The prices are pretty high, what you would expected for a branded store but there are still deals to be found. They had a large variety of items. Some items were geared toward kids while some items were geared towards grown up "kids" like me. Makes sense because I have a grown up "kid" bank account. I ended up at a unique display that had neon items that were all in Japanese writing. The items seems to focus on the "villans" of the games. I settled on a neon retro looking tumbler. It was so cute and well made. Looked like a quality product. I bought it as a birthday gift for another grown up "kid" and she absolutely loved it. Stainless steel on the outside and double insulated. Came with a special straw that the cashier handed to me after I paid. It wasn't too crowded when I went there in the middle of the week so there was plenty of space to casually shot at my leisure. Staff was very friendly but not overly pushy so it was a very relaxing shopping experience. The store definitely looks like it belongs at CityWalk. read more

What a beautiful store filled with amazing items! I walked away with the Yoshi headband! It was very adorable seeing all the decor related to the Mario franchise. The staff were helpful and friendly! There was so many items from plushies to shirts to keychains to the PowerUp Bands. My headband was only $20, which to theme park pricing was a steal! Loved it! Very nice if you do not plan to go into the parks as it's located right in CityWalk Hollywood read more
