I had a baby in April 2020, and for the first year of his life, I bought all of his clothes online. He's an incredibly gorgeous child (objective statement of fact), and I take real pleasure in buying him tiny clothes. It turns out that that pleasure is amplified when I shop in person at a store like Eggy. I'd been aware of this store for a while and always figured it was Korean-owned, as "eggy" sounds like the Korean word for "baby." This suspicion was confirmed when I met the owner a few years ago (I'm friends with her cousin, it turns out). I went for the first time last month, to exchange a gift from his Aunty Carol and Uncle Kevin: a soft, adorable sleeper that I wanted to get in a bigger size (they got him a really nice wooden dancing alligator toy too, also from Eggy). The sales lady was very helpful. She found the order and looked for the sleeper, but unfortunately, it didn't come in the size I needed. I returned the sleeper for store credit, which I immediately spent--and then some--and then some more--on a whole fall wardrobe for my son. The store was just so attractive, and so full of stylish, high quality clothes, I went full Pretty Woman on the baby boy racks. I pulled item after item (including a complete three-piece outfit as modeled by one of the little mannequins) and the sales lady brought me everything they had in my kid's size. At one point, I made her look at pictures of him and she--a woman who sells expensive children's clothes to L.A. parents!--said, "You're obsessed." I ended up buying a bunch of clothes, which I realized as I was leaving are likely to go on sale by the time my son is big/cold enough to wear them in a couple of months. My mother would be ashamed of me, but I couldn't resist, and I'll be back to Eggy to get more nice clothes for my beautiful boy. read more

I love this shop because it is the perfect gift giving destination for all of my relatives and friends with little ones. Aside from clothes, it's easy to find fun games, toys and accessories like kids jewelry that makes gift giving really easy and simple since I don't really exactly know what kids love nowadays. I saw their pop up at Fred Segal on Sunset as well and the staff was really kind. The owner Jenny has two little girls that are super awesome and sometimes they are at the shop and they actually have helped me pick out items for my girlfriends nieces and nephews. I will definitely go here again for the holidays. They also carry a really cool kids clothing line that remakes 90's band shirts, so they have mini sizes of Nine Inch Nails shirts and Beastie Boys shirts which are really neat for kids to have. Ted knows that I can't stay away from baby clothes (babies and all things associated). I just love baby clothes and even though we don't actually have a baby we couldn't leave this store without a few important things. (They go into storage until the baby comes in 4 years)... (I know, it's weird). The kind lady in the store allowed me to take pictures of the things that I thought were super extra cute (for later). She was super pleasant and didn't make us feel too weird for buying baby clothes for the non-baby. She also had a fun accent! The store is pricey but some of the things are so cute you just can't pass them up. We bought these amazing bibs with elephants and flowers on them and an awesome yellow/grey flower onesie. Our kids are going to be the best dressed babes around!! Can't wait to come back. read more

I shopped at Eggy about a month ago for my kids. The store is very cute with some really great options. I left with some really cute outfits and a puzzle toy for my kids all totaling over $200. The one romper for my son, unfortunately, has faulty buttons. The moment my son moves, they all unbutton. It's almost as though the holes are too big for the buttons. So, naturally, I called Eggy to let them know the issue and that it's unwearable. The woman I spoke with suggested I just buy larger buttons to sew on!! I said "So, I purchased a $65 outfit that has faulty buttons and your suggestion is for me to go out and buy new ones to sew on?!" (Also, what if i don't sew them on properly and my son pulls ones off and chokes on it?!) And she replied "yeah, it sounds like you really liked the outfit and sorry that happened". My mind was blown that her first and only response wasn't "wow, that's terrible. Come back and return it for something else here that your child can actually wear". Since this was something I had purchased with the intent for my son to wear to his first birthday party that was last weekend, I had to run out to buy him something new. Since I live in the valley, I decided to stop by Sap + Honey to get something there. I had discussed with them what happened with the outfit from Eggy just to see if I was being the irrational one and if their response was normal for a clothing store, and the owner there told me to return the the outfit to her store and she will let me pick out something of equal value. I can't tell you how great it was to go from being so shocked about terrible customer service and then to experience the complete opposite at another store. So, thank god Sap + Honey came to the rescue and fixed Eggy's problem. Going forward, I know where my money is better spent and where my business is valued. read more

Very uninterested shopkeeper/sales assistant. We went in an hour before closing and our presence seemed to annoy her. Or she was just disinterested in helping us. My husband and I said hello first, and thanks as we were leaving. We got a curt "can I help you?" during our visit and that's it. It was awkward since it's such a small shop and you expect to get more personal service in a boutique but that is not the case here. Too bad, as there were some cute baby clothes but we didn't feel inclined to purchase items given the poor customer service. read more

This store has the most incredibly curated selection of baby and children's clothing. The owners aesthetic and taste far surpasses the merchandise at any baby store I've visited in LA. The clothing is superb, unique and of high quality coming from all over Europe and Australia I believe. I could buy literally everything from here but then I would need a small fortune because the clothing is very pricey. Understandable though since it's imported and high-end and unlike most things you'd find in nice baby boutiques. read more

I bought a 45$ dollar romper for my granddaughter that tore after I hand washed it after the only time I put it on my granddaughter, when I went back to the store to show them, the women there told me there was nothing she could do for me and I could not get store credit. I know clothes and I can tell u that the only time this happens is when the fabric is rotting...the women there was rude and not helpful at all. I will never return and I get better customer service at my carwash then here. Pray u never have to take anything DONT NOT GO TO THIS STORE THE QUALITY OF THEIR CLOTHES ARE POOR......and the service was the worse.... read more

This shop has an very nice selection of baby/children clothing with some from local designers. It's not cheap, but it's trendy and chic, but not in a Versace/Fendi way but more L.A. It's not the largest store, but it has plenty of variety. The service was friendly and I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I used to shop at Eggy to find really nice outfits for babies of friends. Because I'm a dude I needed a lot of help shopping. Everyone at Eggy helped me tons finding the cutest outfits. But now my wife and I have a baby of our own and shopped there for the first time for our lil man! We were celebrating his birthday and wanted to dress him up LA chic. Got some really nice, cool outfits. Definitely recommend buying clothes for kids at Eggy. They have really nice clothes which are made of the best materials. I bought a baby shower gift. Customer service was good. It's easy to find a gift because the baby clothes is so cute soft and unique. They do free gift wrapping if needed and parking was easy. had the pleasure of stopping in eggy on my last trip to LA. i had to pick up a gift for my nephew. everyone knows shopping for boys clothes is never as fun as shopping for girls. this store has it all. baby muscle tees, skinnys and drop crotch sweats... yes, i just wrote that. my nephew is the most stylish kid in the park. yes, it's a splurge, but you're paying for quality. i've bought him outfits from h&m, zara, etc... they're all fine, but they fall apart after one wash and he'll look like every other kid on the block. this store is special. the people that run the store are special. i spent 2 hours in there and had no clue. there is definitely something for everyone, i even snagged a necklace (made for child) for myself. i live in manhattan and i have yet to find a shop like this. they carry lines that i can't even find here. i just found out they have the cutest little site. read more

I happened upon this cool little boutique with my 4 year old son during a sale. I was very happy to find a beautiful sweater and two cool shirts for him. The store has several beautiful toys that my son was thrilled to be able to play with. The owner was lovely and accommodating. My only wish was that I had a baby girl- her girl's clothes are adorable. Also, I'll for sure be returning for more boys clothes. Normally I shop at the Poppy Store in Brentwood but it's way too far to drive if I'm not already there. This store is on one of my favorite streets: 3rd street, east of LaCienega and west of Sweetzer. read more

This is my favorite baby store for buying clothes. Luckily, (though not for our bank account) we live in the same neighborhood as this fabulous store and visit it all the time. The owner has the best taste. If you see something you love, buy it before it's gone. Most of the baby clothes that I buy, I get on sale or wait for deals from online retailers. I pay full retail here when I find things that are so original/darling for our baby boy. The sales people are really sweet/helpful as is the owner who has two young children of her own. read more

Great little children's boutique in Weho. Been many times and I enjoy the great shoe & clothing choices. The buyer has a keen eye and I like the fact that it's somewhat unique. Won't find many other children wearing the clothing, unlike a Gap item. No offense to Gap, but this place has brands that are not saturated, unique and so cute. Prices are a bit higher, but you get what you pay for and I've always been satisfied with their choice of designers. Bought a cute pair of Old Sole high top sneakers for my daughter last wk...adorable and comfy! Only reason I give it 4 stars is bc the service can be better. read more
