This place is good for fancy clothes for 14 months old through 8. (Ex like for a Christmas party, Easter, Birthdays, etc) Their prices are a little high though read more

Gabby helped me over the phone today. I was looking for a few items to see if they had them in stock (they did) and she helped me place and order over the phone to secure my items (yay!!). She also informed me on their quick pickup system (SUPER helpful as a 2 under 2 mom). My new go-to Janie & Jack location! read more

While I was shopping, my baby was holding an item and walked around with it a bit. It got a little dirty, but it wasn't noticeably damaged. Without any explanation, the employee took the item, scanned it, wrapped it in tissue paper, and then asked me to pay for it. I was not informed that I was required to purchase it, nor did I see any sign or policy stating that customers must buy an item in such situations. I completely understand if an item is damaged beyond resale, but this was not the case. The way it was handled made me feel uncomfortable and pressured to make a purchase I did not intend to make. I would appreciate clarification on your store's policy and how these situations are supposed to be handled. I hope this feedback helps prevent similar experiences for other customers in the future. read more

I just had the worst customer service by Paula who is extremely rude. We got items gifted to us from a lot of family members and we didn't keep the gift receipt. The items are around 90-100$ worth of items and Paula only wanted to give us 35$ for the items. When I was concerned she said she can't help me and next time I'll should just have a gift receipt. I told her that I am a very good customers for many years and she said, everybody that walks in here is a good customer. Wow smh how does someone speak like that to a customer. I am so disappointed by this company, I have been buying for years, never returning! read more

Uninterested and not very helpful staff is a downer. This store is not exactly cheap, I'd expect better. Selection is rather limited. Good to know is also that one won't get parking valuation. Really ? read more

Staff is friendly, store is clean, variety of itemsto choose from, price is subject expensive.

Not only this place is unreasonably expensive, but their gift cards can ONLY be used in-person. I never heard of such policy for a gift card to be used in- person only. I don't live near a store and I have contacted multiple supervisors to allow my gift card to be used online, however nobody wants to honor that. It's such a SCAM, gift cards are meant to be used for in-person and online. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service and policies of this company. read more

The customer service is HORRIBLE!!! The lead manager Irana is very disrespectful! I love the this store to shop for my nephews and nieces but after experiencing what happened NEVER again. The grove has a great KIDS NORDSTROM so I'm shopping there now!!! read more

They should just refer to it as "customer" because the "service" in "customer service" just isn't here. I had to return a purchase for which I used a merchandise credit. Salesperson: "Do you have your merchandise credit card"? Me: "Uh no, I used it for this purchase. I zeroed it out and recycled the card". Salesperson: "We don't have any merchandise cards. We ran out. Can you just buy something else"? Me: "No. I would like my credit please". Salesperson: "Well, can you just come back tomorrow? We'll have more cards". Me: "I work full-time. I don't have the time to come back. What are you doing for your customers who want to purchase a gift card"? Salesperson: "They're coming back". HORRIBLE customer disservice...the management should have enough merchandise cards on stock. And, if there is some crazy shortage of cards, they should have arranged a back-up plan. This was a huge waste of my time and for the prices they charge, this just shouldn't happen. read more

Met Eva Chen here for her Juno Valentine book signing & clothing line debut! So cool to hear what she has to say about life and her book!

Shopping at Janie and Jack is always a pleasure. They always have something for my boy or girl. Not the cheapest, but the quality is definitely worth it, and bargains are always available to be found. The manager josefina is amazing and she is always a great help, as well as all the other sales-ladies. read more

Love the fashion and quality BUT I made an order from Germanny payed over 70n Euros taxes on it (there shoud be a HINT about it when you are doing the order abroad. But that isnt even the problem. If you made a mistake - for exampel ve ordered the wrong size, you are f...*** cause they wouldn t exchange anything - so either you take it or you have payed a lot of money (including the extra abroad taxes) for something, you can t need.. Didn t expect this policy from such a high class kids fashion brand. Will never order again! read more

J&J carries really cute clothes for the little ones. I was a little skeptical about stepping inside the store at first because I heard they were pretty pricey, but what the heck, it doesn't hurt to look right? So I went in, and discovered that while yes some of their items are pricey, if you look around you can find great bargains in some of the baskets they have on the floor and in the racks in the back. I got goobie some really cute clothes, and accesories there and for a great deal! It's a fancy, cozy little store with lotts of adorable clothes, so definitely check it out. read more

Janie & Jack has fantastic clothing for children. The designs are adorable and construction is good. Outfits purchased here tend to hold up well over time, at least in my experience. While the clothing is pricey, Janie & Jack has great sales. This store always has two big sale racks in the back of the store and if you're there on the right day you can find some great stuff for very reasonable prices. Also, try their website. The downside of this store for me is that it's tiny and hard to move around, especially if you have a stroller. There are only two cash registers and even on busy weekend days, usually only one is open at a time. You may have to wait quite a while to check out. In general, I would recommend avoiding this store on the weekend because it's just too congested and the racks have really been picked over. High marks for the clothes and the sales; demerits for the layout of the store and wait to check out. read more

This place has the cutest styles for boys and girl. Some of the styles are from the 1970s and also a modern Touchin to them. I especially love the plaid look for boys with the matching hats, ties and shoes. Although I do believe the gap has recently purchased them this store is still so sweet small and elegant it does not feel like it has been absorbed by a very large company. At least not as of yet. The sales are excellent here when the season is over. I found three beautiful dresses for my daughter and I paid only $70. That is what I call a bargain at the store! read more

This store in my opinion has the cutest clothes for both girls and boys. Very nice styles. More on the preppy or classy side, but cute pieces to mix and match. Good quality. I like shopping here for my little boy. There is usually only 1-2 people working in the store so if its busy getting help will take time. read more

I wish all adult clothes were as cute as these baby clothes! Janie & Jack also has great sales and will pack the clothes away in super cute wrappings/ gift box. read more

I came here for a boys gift & was really disappointed. I think the Grove location has the worst selection of all Janie & Jack's i've been to - the store is tiny! Santa Monica J & J seems to have more choices. I basically had a choice of: 3 piece suits for baby boys or "not too special" bathing suits. The only other thing i saw was super wrinkly t-shirts & super wrinkly shorts. If i am going to spend the $$, i want the gift to at least seem special. 3 piece suits & bathing suits didn't seem right...so i'll just go to Nordstrom. Ps - the girls had a better selection...but again, the Santa Monica J & J has an overall better selection! I won't waste my time at this location any more. read more

Stopped by Janie and Jack for the first time tonight to purchase a baby gift. One of the sales associates named Dayanara assisted me at checkout. She was friendly, but professional and very helpful. She even packed the outfit in an adorable Janie and Jack gift box and finished it with a ribbon. She took the time to do this, even though the store was closing for the evening. read more

The namesakes for this infant and toddler clothing store surely never had to go up any hill to fetch a pail of water. Though quite pricey, Janie and Jack has beautiful outfits in classic cuts and colors. Their uni layette collection is simply adorable. The best time to shop is during their semi-annual sale. At this time, most items will retail at around $20. The Grove location is quite small, yet they seem to be able to pack in quite the collection, especially for girls - the boys collection was a bit more wanting. Great customer service throughout. read more

I came here to buy some gifts today on April 12th, 2017. Such a worst experience ever from customer service perspective. No greetings to me and my whole family and no saying "thank-you" or "have a good day" even after making a purchase. We'll never come back! You've lost potential sale! read more

The most stunning clothes ever and the store is cute to boot!! They even have great music playing while you shop. I have never wanted to be 3 feet tall so bad in my whole life. Their little clothes look like proper European clothes with a vintage feel. Super well made but a bit pricey. Go buy your baby a bikini, she Needs one! seriously!! read more

The cutest clothes for babies ever. Although QUITE Pricey indeed. They have silk dresses that look like they were designed by BCBG for babies. So funny. But it's hard to justify paying $68 for a little silk dress they will be outgrowing in less than 3 months. read more

Despite prices being high, this shop is always organized, well managed, and easy to get around. The store is quite small, but it's easy to go in and out in a timely manner. The staff members are usually helpful. read more

This store has fantastic children clothing. Very old fashioned but still super cute. It's a bit pricey but they often have sales on the last season items. The Grove location is very nice and clean. Worth the trip to see what they have : ) read more

I love their clothes. When my son was first born we made the mistake of going crazy in this store buying him newborn and 3 mo clothing. We were expecting a small baby and were surprised when we found our child was practically skipping newborn. We tried to return/exchange some items and were disappointed to find the items were apparently out of season and we would barely get a few bucks per item. That's my only disappointing experience. We learned our lesson, we now go straight to the clearance and sale items. It makes it all worth it. read more
