Simply put, Nicole O. is AMAZING! She has the best energy and she is so kind and lovely! She helped me do a return and then took the time to order me the clothes that I was looking for from other Kitsons, which saved me so much time driving around and calling the other stores. She is literally an angel and I will be a Kitson shopper now for life... give this girl a raise, she is fantastic! read more

I bought these sunglasses in the store and was very disappointed with the quality. They broke almost immediately after I got them, even though I handled them with normal care. The frame felt flimsy and cheaply made from the start, and they clearly aren't built to last. I expected much better for the price. It's frustrating to spend money on a product that doesn't even hold up for a day. I wouldn't recommend these sunglasses and won't be purchasing this brand again. read more

Love going here when traveling to California. But really really love how they call out thieves, no matter who they are. Any negative reviews are absolutely fake and yelp should remove them. read more

There are two types of people who go into Kitson. The first are people who seriously want kitschy trashy items and have a way expendable bank account to throw down. Those people may or may not also be coming for a photo op, for themselves. I have never met those people. The second are people who have no intent to buy anything, are aware of that, and use this store more as a museum on how WeHo retail epilepsy works. These people know well they can't afford it and walk in fully not caring, just to make fun of everything, maybe even bringing a friend along. Like that Mean Girls-inspired pink jacket that says 400 real American dollars on it. Or the shirt that has a very common Spice Girls photo on it marked at a nice 98 dollars. Not 100, not 99, 98 precisely. Like the last time they were popular. Yes I'm in the second category. Alls well that ends well though as you'll probably round out your cruise thru here in the discount section where employees (who could care less about not making personal phone calls on the clock) stockpile all the stuff that of course did not sell. And those things die a slow death until someone adopts them for the low low price of still-too-high at about 20 bucks or so for, well, whatever exactly this store sells. Currently discounted is a very distasteful and untimely "Palisades Dog Mom" sweatshirt. Yes it is still on full display. Thankfully, whoever you are, there is free parking next door, and you definitely should be in and out of here in way less than two hours. read more

Crap! Crap! Crap! Everything in this store is cheap and overpriced. Customer service is nonexistent.

I used to shop here frequently for my daughter's clothes because I genuinely like their products. However, during our last visit, I was with my 88-year-old mother and my 2-year-old daughter, who was wearing an outfit we had previously purchased from this store, a salesperson stopped us on our way out and questioned my daughter's sweater, implying it may not have been purchased. The situation felt completely unwarranted and made us very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the store's intense focus on theft prevention creates an unwelcoming and unpleasant shopping experience. Because of this, we will not be returning. read more

I was shopping with Lil Wayne! We were looking at jeans together. Lil Louis Vuitton backpack full of money, body guard holding the big Louis Vuitton duffle bag full of money, we were in there shoulder to shoulder and bonded on a few things. Won't get too much into detail but just know we were caught by the paparazzi better known as TMZ right outside of Kitson. We loved shopping at kitson! read more

terrible customer service. ordered something online that was supposed to be delivered within a week and almost two months went by with no update and NO response to a single email email. finally got in touch with the store after them not answering the phone either for them to say oh they never had the product. they didn't refund my order until a week after that. so insanely unprofessional. read more

Very unpleasant experience today. A middle-aged white male staff member was extremely rude and aggressively accused me of taking photos in the store. He demanded that I show him my phone and prove what I had taken. This was completely inappropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable as a customer. There are better ways to communicate policies than intimidating people. I will not be returning. read more

Kitson is a gift shop or novelty store. They sell quality items from good brands and everything in the store is always on trend. The pieces in this shop all are bubbling with personality. I used to really love this shop but, for some reason, it just doesn't thrill me like it used to. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the store was the loud music. I am a music lover but I like the volume to be in the background and more on the quiet side when I'm shopping. I went over to the sale section to check out the clothing. It is summer and I found a lot of winter items which definitely makes sense but I did not feel like trying them on as it was too hot and out of season. The price at 50% off for a sweater I was admiring was still very pricey and I really didn't need it so I passed on the item. Metered parking on street. Near Cedars Sinai Hospital. There's a kids version down the block. read more

I wish I had more time in this place. I passed through and fell in love with a lot of their offerings. It scratches an itch that I've been looking for a while. They have a wide range of products, some reasonably priced, and others not so much. I just didn't really agree with their no photos policy. It probably would have led to a few sales from me because I wanted to pick some things up for family while passing through LA. read more

Love kitson! Great boutique, lots of cute home decor and love what the business stands for!

Horrible selection of items, over priced, cheap trash value of items. Terrible owner. Avoid at all costs!

OK so bought some cool pants for the boy today, all excited then I got home , to wifey which said good job dumdum, it's damaged. I realize I bought from clearance but check out this customer service (or lack there of) . I have to come back today(I asked until tomorrow, as I live in the valley) and they said no can do. Not a biggie, I'm out 40$ but that's the last 40 I spend in this establishment. read more

What's wrong on the pix of the sale shop board ? #KitsonLosAngeles is a cool store- very friendly, classy, gifts. Some nice #BIPOC representation too - I just bought fab Goddess #MayaAngelou socks (in this sale store on Robertson). BUT they are still perpetuating the #binarygender BS. Advance #GenZ is coming notice to any biz that thinks you are liberal & cool / pro-equality. Now #intersex people are finding their voice to speak on our erasure & so many young people are moving beyond prescriptive boxed in gender rules - embracing freedom of #nonbinary This kind of men / women division makes you look past your sell-by-date. Get Over It!! read more

Staff there is awful, manager is the worst. The manager hasn't even trained her staff to verbally let everyone know that returns are store credit only. The manager claimed she would get back to me after she talks to the owners- 6days later, still nothing. I wouldn't have expected anything more or less from some chick that manages a retail store. I'm sure she threw my info away as soon as I walked out. They're as trashy and disgusting as they seem from the outside regarding how they used to blast celebrities. Focus on training your staff instead of trying to bring down celebrities. I went back today to get my store credit since the female manager in her 50s couldn't do her job and couldn't bother to call me back. This time the male manager in his mid to late 60s that looked more like a disheveled homeless person scolded me and told me that by law they didn't need to verbalize their policy and that it's written. He then proceeded to say that the reason they don't verbalize it is bc they get foreigners that "cant even speak English". Clearly this old man is racist and has issues. I also reminded him that his peer couldn't be bothered to do her job and call me. He said that she was sick. People in retail should know that customer service 101 is that no one wants to hear an excuse. This business is really awful. Take your money somewhere else read more

Rude. Overpriced. Same selections since I can remember. Not sure how they're still in business.

I really like this as a little gift shop place to find fun things to send my friends, family, loved ones. Lots of cute gifts under $25 if you want fun little cute items to hand out, some definitely more expensive things if you're so inclined. And many of the employees there are a lot of fun. Definitely my favorite gift shop in LA. read more

The absolute rudest experience a store in my whole life. I loved she merchandise, super cute and clever, but the employees/ manager was an absolute unnecessarily rude person. I will never, ever, not ever buy anything from kitson again. read more

My favorite go to spot when i am in the shopping mood for home accessories or just random stuff! Kitson has reopened as Kitross! A play on the owners name, Ross, I was so excited to see their original location on Robertson occupied again! Service and selection are killer, as usual, I always love coming here for unique gifts, clothes for myself and my family and just to browse in general, makes for a great time every time. So glad to see they have reopened, I wish them all the best! read more

I was just refused service at Kitson On Robertson for wearing a mask. I said it was my right to wear a mask, and then manager guy grabbed the shirt I was going to purchase out of my hand, called security, and shouted to not sell me anything. When I took a pic of him, I wanted to hit me and his security had to come between us. Do not shop here, they do not respect your right to wear a mask. This should not be happening in Los Angeles! read more

Kitson - Manager guy who refused to serve me because I was wearing a mask at Kitson on Robertson. - Accessories Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Came in for some Xmas shopping and the employee was blatantly not wearing a mask and told other customers they didn't need to and said "who gives a s%#t"? Well as a nurse, I do. And there also happens to be an ordinance about mask wearing. Ridiculous. I have a choice where I spend my money and I won't be at this overly priced flaky place. I'll also be telling everyone I know to avoid this place. read more

Great products, super friendly Staff. They literally carry all of the coolest and newest inventory at reasonable prices

THE WORST! I came to the store to buy Christmas gifts for my family, when I got harassed by the manager for touching the objects while looking for the gifts. Suddenly, something fell on the floor, he accused me of pushing the object and yell at me that I should be paying for it front of everybody. I agreed to pay because even I believe it wasn't fair, I did not want to argue with him, but he kept yelling and he insulted me. But the worst is that he attacked me on my physical appearance, saying that my Celine sneakers were fake (which they were not I got them few days ago at the store) and tried to humiliate me as much as he could front of the costumers. I have been living in Beverly Hills for 6 years and I have never been treated this way in any others store in Los Angeles, or anywhere else. This man was extremely mean and so aggressive. PLEASE BE CAREFUL going to this store. I have never experienced something like this and even we can have a bad day sometimes, there is no need to be so aggressive and bully a customer front of others. It is very sad and disappointing coming from a store like Kitson. read more

i love Kitson, and especially this location! customer service is wonderful, and the selection is great. I wish there was one in the bay area where I live. i feel like they should open one up in santana row in San jose, CA. hint hint! read more

Great if you want to pay hugely inflated prices for things you can buy from a local artist on Etsy.....yeah, you will find stuff on Etsy and magically a few months later it shows up at Kitson for 5x the price. The owner is a jerk, try talking to some of his vendors. And god forbid you say something about why some of his other customers aren't wearing masks, you get a top notch dramatic freak out over the CA Governor being the devil. There's a reason why this business went belly up once already....some folks don't know when to quit. Spare yourself the queen dramatics (and a headache) and just buy on Etsy. read more

Worst customer service around. They pretend to be anti-trendy and so cool. Give it up. You are LA. These minimum wage employees aren't even worth that. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. Nothing but a bunch of minions here. Bitter. read more

Poorly made clothing, doesn't wash well. Doesn't understand their market base and keeps pushing customers away.

The woman working here was twilight zone rude. I politely asked her a question about an item and she treated me like I was someone she hated from high school. When I asked "sorry, did I do something to upset you?", she rolled her eyes and said "upset me? I don't even know you. That's pretty weird". She even did the "byeee" when I walked out. Why did I walk into Kitson? (Excuse me, Kitson Kitross - stupid name.) Mainly because I was surprised to see a Kitson still around; curiosity got the better of me. I thought mankind was thankfully rid of those horrible stores several years back, but here it is again, popping up like an unsightly sore. As we all suspected, Kitson truly is the herpes of retail. But this time, it's so much worse: Whereas its previous iteration was flashy and gauche, it still sold things that could be considered of value over a decade ago: Hudson jeans, Oliver Peoples sunglasses, Costume National fragrances. But this Kitross thing is a different bottom-scraping level of trashy entirely. I don't see any famous brands of clothing like the old Kitson had; instead, tables are piled high in cheap-looking knockoff t-shirts such as "California" in what's meant to be the Supreme logo. Kitson Kitross is nothing more than a Hollywood Boulevard-style souvenir shop full of cheaply made tourist crap ― but this stuff is aimed at people silly enough to spend upwards of $100 per shirt to say they bought it a few doors down from The Ivy. Other items (t-shirts, sweatpants, even throw pillows) feature such douchebag, often misogynist sayings like "Sorry girls, I only date supermodels" or "I'm kind of a big deal." They're so lazily executed that no one even bothered finding a different font than the default Tahoma or Courier when making them ― but they're still charging up to $92 for these no-brand Garment District-level items. They're the 2008 equivalent of "No Fat Chicks." Yeah, 2008 ― that feels like about the right spot in the Zeitgeist for this Kitson: If you know someone who was a huge fan of "The Hills" and just woke up from a decade-long coma, doesn't care how ridiculous they look, and wants to waste a lot of money on really crappy clothes, then Kitgarry Kitross is that person's sartorial nirvana. For anyone living in 2018, caveat emptor. read more

Love their selections, prices and service! Fun atmosphere. Can't wait until work starts sending me to LA regularly again!

Let me save you guys the time and money. This store reopened as "Kitross" after gouging people for their money as Kitson, selling overpriced and gaudy clothing. My friends used to have clothing there when it was Kitson and never got paid, yet they claim they look for local artists to support. Don't believe the hype, this store is garbage. Do not support a store that claims one thing and takes advantage of innocent people. read more

Love love love kitson!!!! My favorite small business in LA! Cutest clothes and chachkis for all ages

Kitson used to be a handy (if slightly overpriced) place to get fun gifts and cards (though the clothes are silly and absurdly spendy). Hadn't been in years (since they re-opened at this location) and was absolutely shocked at how much MAGA crap was in the store. "Let's Go Brandon" tchotchkes and Nancy Pelosi toilet paper. Really made me uncomfortable in this bluest of blue cities. Not to mention--not fun for a silly store like this. And now reading other reviews saying they harassed people in masks? No, Kitson. Just no. Won't go back. read more
