I have had a ton of matcha, including some in Japan and different states of the US. I tried their blueberry matcha and I was positively surprised. It's not too sweet, has just the right amount of richness, and the blueberry flavor is definitely present without overpowering the other elements. I rate it a 4.5 out of 5. A strawberry or marshmallow cold foam would make it a 5 out of 5. One of the first things I noticed was how much seating there is. I can imagine this being a popular spot for study sessions or friend hangouts. I give the ambiance a 4 out of 5. A pop of color or vibrant addition would increase the ambiance for sure. I love love love matcha!!! It's one of my favorite things to drink. My coworker told me about this place and I had to try it out. The place is very modern and clean. Ambiance is relax and chill. I would say a place for students to go to with friends for studying or just hang out. I got the classic matcha with ube foam and for my grandma the Vietnamese coffee. The matcha was more on the sweeter side a little bit, but overall very good. It was delicious. For my grandma's Vietnamese coffee, it was a little strong but she enjoyed it. Great service. Best matcha in Jacksonville, not an exaggeration. They use their own matcha, the drinks are always so good, and the vibe here is always so chill. Their mango matcha is what i had in these photos, and it's one of my favorites - it doesn't taste like straight mango, and you can still taste the matcha. My girlfriend got the coconut cloud matcha. I don't like coconut products, but this was pretty good. Service here is always great. Staff is nice, drinks get out fast. There's a bunch of table games, so whether you're waiting for your drink or chilling there for a bit, there's stuff to do. The place is aesthetically appealing too. read more

Always love when new matcha spots open up! I got the pumpkin spice matcha latte and it was pretty decent. The pumpkin spice flavor was really good, but I did find myself wishing the matcha flavor came through a bit more. But I've heard that the flavor comes through a lot better with some of the fruit flavors like blueberry or mango, so I would definitely come again. Their Earl grey matcha also looks so good, but they were unfortunately out that day, so that's another one I can't wait to try. read more

I recently tried this spot right before the long weekend. Switching up the way I usually leave reviews. I'll do a run down of the positives and negatives. Positives: - open design tea shop, spacious, lots of natural light - clean - simple design, not cluttered - my tea was made with light ice without me having to ask for light ice - huge plus - thank you. Who likes watered down matcha? (No one) - there was no upcharge to switch to oat or almond milk - also huge perk since I cannot stomach regularly milk anymore - primo matcha, the quality is there - lots of staff on duty - not short handed - wintermelon flavor was very good, was wishing my drink had a tad more of that flavor in it. Negatives: - another small business off beach blvd where it's a nightmare to turn in and out of (traffic at all times of day, no traffic light) - most all drinks need to be shaken or stirred (staff will tell you this as they hand it to you) But the drink comes in a normal to go drink cup with a hole in the lid aka, how do we shake or stir this properly without getting thick green matcha everywhere ? Better design of cup is needed; maybe boba tea style with a sealed lid for proper mixing - drinks are priced higher than Starbucks My wintermelon matcha was $9/$10 which included $1 tip (I know good matcha is pricey, but if I'm paying for good matcha, at least give me a decent cup to enjoy it out of) all the flavor sinks to the bottom and needs to be constantly stirred while drinking. - zero napkins placed on the tables or bar by the front door. I spilled my matcha while attempting to stir with my straw - wanted to clean it up, no napkins in sight. Asked the attendant at the front who had maybe 5-10 beverage napkins loose by the register, cleaned my small mess up with those. Napkins on the tables would be helpful. - Taiyo was out of the first 3 drinks I was trying to order. I did not go on a busy weekend day, and went after their soft open when they were officially open. I would give this place another try down the road If in the area and it's easy to get in and out of the shopping center it's located in. I know they are new so I'm sure they are still figuring things out and working out the kinks. Staff was good about lightly explaining the drinks when you ask about them. read more

I'm happy to see that this place has opened in the Jacksonville area. As someone from California, I try to find spots that stay as authentic as they can to our Asian roots. Hence, when I go to matcha places, I try to get the unsweetened version to truly taste the cafe's combination of matcha against milk. I learned that their default milk is 2%, so I ordered their cloud matcha (matcha latte with matcha cold foam, a creative combination) with whole milk. The drink was able to be made sugarless while still holding its matcha flavor, though the flavor is not super potent (I prefer mine to have a strong robust flavor). Thus, I would say this matcha is of good quality (so not weak) for a standard fix, but not quite there for those seeking that strong high quality matcha tea taste. As for the ambience, I like the color palate of pastel green walls, white ceiling and floors, and light brown wooden tables. The bright lighting and music lightly playing in the background adds to the peaceful and pleasant vibes of the cafe. Open from 9a-9p everyday, they have plenty of good seating and wifi for those looking for a place to study. it's a wonderful place to enjoy your latte alone or with friends, as there are plenty of other Asian restaurants nearby for a good mid-day meal. Currently a drinks-only spot, they'll be introducing their soft serve matcha ice cream on their menu soon, and I am looking forward to trying that when it's released! read more

Very quiet little shop, perfect to bring in your laptop, hunker down and drink a little treat. I got an earl grey matcha with matcha foam, it was amazingggg. The color was the perfect green and the earl grey wasn't over powering, both the earl grey and matcha flavors connected so well. I find it hard to have good quality matcha and am hesitant to try places matcha because I have been disappointed often! This place did not disappoint, I highly recommend! the strawberry matcha was so good, perfectly sweet. i ordered it extra sweet but the guy working decided to make it normally and then if i wanted it sweeter he would add it. he was genius for that because it was perfect as-is. he was so smiley and helpful, and the store is cute and filled with light, great place to sit and work or meet a friend. the drinks are expensive but for good matcha i am not surprised! i only wish they mixed the strawberry into the matcha instead of having to do it myself but i kinda understand cuz it looks way better in pics that way lol read more

i absolutely adore this place! kayla, taylor, and destinee are all extremely friendly and add to the comfy and peaceful atmosphere to the place. out of my two times visiting, i have had the brown sugar matcha, the matcha coconut cloud, the strawberry hojicha, and the new matcha soft serve. my favorite is the matcha coconut cloud, but i was pleasantly surprised by the matcha soft serve! it was not too sweet, but there was no bitter aftertaste like i expected. the music is not too loud and the decor was cute but not over the top, which made it easy to focus for my study sessions. i can't wait to come back again! read more
