I got my maid of honor dress altered here and there are three reasons why I will never go anywhere else: 1. Great value. The place I bought the dress from would alter the dress starting at $120. They did not try to tack on unnecessary alterations to make more money. Some places will charge more just knowing you're in a wedding party! I paid around $22 to get the shoulders taken in. 2. I said great value and not cheap because they did a great job. The dress fit me the way it should, and I was happy with the way I looked. 3. Friendly service AND they called me a few days after I dropped me off to tell me it was ready early. read more

I brought my moms favorite Vince pants in - she calls them her power pants because she always feels pumped when she wears them and does great deals when she wears them - to be hemmed without her here and they came out PERFECT!!! Brought her $5000 Oscar De La Renta top that got damaged in a photo shoot by salt residue from the ocean and they killed it again! Then I brought in my $4000 Ralph Lauren Purple Label silk safari jacket that I WAS SURE I RUINED because I had my bedroom painted chalkboard black and the paint seeped through the closet onto the sleeve. 1/2 star because Melody was nice on the phone. Moved to Wellington recently and needed two suits and 5 pants altered. The people here are so rude and act as if they are above their customers. I was first provided a incorrect price when I dropped off my stuff on the initial visit. Then I was called 1 week later and harassed by their staff about the price being $180+ dollars higher. The lady that called me ( named Loudus) was so rude and then had the audacity to hang up on me. I then picked up my clothes to find two jacket sleeves were not even altered correctly. When I brought them back and explained this- I was told verbatim "I should've told them to measure both arms..." Lol. I have many suits and use dry cleaning at least once a week and have done so for 10+ years. I will never go back here. This place is terrible and shouldn't be serving customers. There are plenty of great mom and pop places in Wellington. Take your business elsewhere. read more

After stopping at a few places to try to get my autistic sons elephant stuffed lovey fix after it ripped and being told "they couldn't fix it" or maybe it wasn't worth their time I tried Tailors touch. The young boy at the front desk was so sweet after I handed him an old dirty torn up elephant assuring me they could fix it. While already having another customer he was attending to he took the time to speak with me and assured me he would do his best to fix it. Knowing how important this elephant meant to my family he told me he would get it done by the next day after first saying he was very busy this weekend. To my surprise he called me less than two hours later and explained to me in great detail what he was going to do to fix it before he proceeded. You would have thought I was dropping off a $10,000 dress to be worked on, he was so kind. He then called me back almost immediately to tell me it was ready. When I picked it up he told me what he did to fix it and that he was certain my picky autistic 4 year old would love it! I even offered to pay more with how quick he was able to get it done and ready professionalism but he said declined so I left thanking him. First impressions are most often a reflection of a business practice. Arriving at the location I felt convenience and comfort. Well located, spacious, organized and clean. Walking is I was immediately greeted by a sweet, friendly Portuguese woman, Arlinda. She listened to my concerns, asked me a couple of questions to determine my needs then directed me to the fitting room. Fitting rooms are also clean, comfortable and spacious with a large bench to accommodate your clothes, sitting space and a large mirror. You may think I'm being too detailed but you'd be surprised at some places that don't even offer a chair or mirror in their fitting rooms, never mind room to move in. Arlinda again asked me measurement desired and made a couple of suggestions that would better suit my garment and my fit. She was meticulous in her attention to detail. You can tell she's been doing this for many years. There were 2 other ladies there. One from Romania and another one from Brazil and although they did not attend me, they said hello and were pleasant. Exactly what you'd expect from a good tailor. My alterations will be ready in 4 days although she said she will call me if it is done earlier (that was nice to hear). Can't wait to see the finished product but from what I see I'm sure I'll be pleased. Based on my initial experience alone I highly recommend this place. Will update once I get my garment. read more

I brought in a pait of pants to be altered. When I went to pick them up they had to be realtered again. I dropped them off at 11 and he told me it would take 2 days. At 11:30 I received a voice mail that the pants were ready. I called back wanting to make sure they did not callthe wrong person as it had been only 1/2 hour since I dropped them off. The owner answered and I told him I am calling to make sure the call was about my pants. He told me that if they called then the pants were ready. I said I was checking as it had only been 1/2 hour since I dropped them off. He got angry and told me that I can just leave the pants and I don't have to pick them up. I questioned why he had such an attitude with a customer and then he just continued to yell at me. Besides this I am not happy with the way the work was done. Be careful as he thinks he is an artist rather than a tailor and he is a poor tailor with a bad attitude. read more

Would give no stars if i could! They ruined my wife's Mother of the Bride outfit. Shame on you,Scott! She left in tears. If you are not a good enough tailor to do the job say so! Don't lead someone to believe after fifteen minutes of explanation (which in retrospect was to justify the price, over $100.00 to taper pant legs) that you have the skill to complete the job. And, when you yourself, being confronted with subpar work, are saying that you should have never taken the job, have the morals and business ethics to refund your fee. GREAT FIND I've been looking for quite some time for a place to have my boots shined and complete some minor repairs. These aren't any kind of special boots like equestrian boots just normal leather boots. I've been to Woody's which seems to be the only place I could find that does this type of work and have been looking for a new place ever since. He has ruined two pair of my boots. I dropped off my boots on a Tuesday and pick them up two days later and they look absolutely fantastic. No specs of polish creating an uneven affect and the repair he did to the heels of my boots is virtually unnoticeable( the sole of the heel was coming off). So not only is the service fast, but it is reliable. The staff is friendly and the cost for the work done was extremely reasonable. Unless something changes this will be the ONLY place I will be going from now on! read more

New to the area of Wellington I was in search for a local tailor. The first time I visited Tailors Touch was at their older location in the mall and had a good first experience. The prices weren't a bargain but they were nice and did a good job. On my second visit to their new location (next to fresh market) it didn't go so well and I was extremely disappointed. Here's what happened, my spouse works a lot so instead of him going into the shop to measure where his pants needed to be hemmed, I marked them all with a sharpie. I have done this before as I worked in clothing stores and used to send the designer jeans out for professional hemming. I also have done this with his jeans in the past when we lived in Delray and used a local tailor there. When I dropped them off I showed them and they said no problem. When I picked them up I left and the owner Waved and said goodbye and have a great day! Super nice and friendly but I'm assuming that's because I just spent $100+. I brought them home and my spouse tried them on, they all looked long. I looked inside the jeans and none of them were altered on the black mark that I made. Every pair was at least an inch off. I was frustrated (didn't feel like making another trip) but hey no big deal, its a quick fix, maybe they misunderstood, so I called the shop. I spoke with a woman on the phone who said please bring them back in with the ticket. So I did exactly that today (4 days later). When I walked in I explained what happened, the woman who works the desk was very nice and showed them to the tailor (older with an accent). I remembered her from my other visits and she was always pleasant. This time she got very defensive about the pants. It's almost funny if I think about it cause it is so silly. She kept telling me how her boss was there when I called and I told her that if there was a problem he could have called or talked to me. It didn't really make much sense as to why she was starting a scene for no reason. I never was rude, raised my voice on the phone nor in the store. I always treat people with respect and hope for the same in return. It wasn't even a big deal, I just wanted them to be made right, I didn't ask for a refund or anything. I was going to continue giving them my business. At one point she was measuring another client and was still talking to me about it and ranting on. The receptionist showed them to another tailor working in the back at a sewing machine, so I shouted "no rush you don't have to fix them now, I will pick them up whenever." Again showing I wasn't upset or anything. The other seamstress (the rude one with an accent) replied to me and says in a sarcastic tone "don't worry she isn't going to do them now" and laughed. Now I'm annoyed. She was so rude and unprofessional that it completely turned me off from this business. I would be embarrassed if any employee of mine acted like this especially while other customers are in the store getting fitted for things. I could even tell the girl at the front desk was uncomfortable from her behavior. Mistakes happen and that's fine, but make them right. I will not be back. So glad to have finally found a Tailor I can trust! I brought a bridesmaid dress here to have sleeves added on-not an easy task for this type of dress. I met with the owner and showed a picture of what I wanted, they took a few measurements and a few days later they called to let me know it was done and they wanted me to come try it on to make sure there were no other adjustments I needed. Sure enough, the dress was PERFECT! Better than I even imagined. Not only that but I had broken the clasp getting it on and they fixed that too! Just awful. Everything about my experience here was terrible. The women who work here are rude and customer service does not exist. I dropped something off to be fixed on a Thursday. They said it would be ready Monday. I came Tuesday to pick it up and the girl couldn't find it. No apology just kinda shrugged like "oh well." When they eventually found it it wasn't ready yet and I had to come back later that night. I picked it up and when I brought it home realized the stitch was done so poorly it popped right off. I brought it back to be fixed AGAIN. They took it but again no apology. They said they would call me later that night and didn't call until 4 days later. The lady that answered the phone was nice.. I got to the store around 6:45 and had to wait more than an hour just to get my measurements taken. When I walked into the store there was only one person there and he didn't service me until closing time. As I was waiting there were people who just walked in that got serviced before me, which is very unfair! While he took my measurements he had the worst attitude as if he didn't want to do them. After I waited a whole hour just to get them done. Anyways, I told this man that these measurements were for my PROM DRESS which is being made out of the country. So clearly I would need the measurements to be precise. I gave the designer the exact measurements I had from him and when I got the dress it did not fucking fit!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ALL I NEEDED WAS SOME DAMN MEASUREMENTS AND HE COULDNT DO THAT RIGHT. Eh. If you're going to come here, know what you're doing because they do not guide you, they do not educate you.... they do what they think is best for you. It's patronizing, condescending and expensive. Came in with a ridiculously expensive bridesmaids dress that needed brought in and hemmed. They pinned the corset and then started pinning he bottom for me, which I was fine with. Then they started MARKING the fabric. THEN they told me to bring in the top with be $53, and then an ADDITIONAL $75 to hem the bottom. This may be a fair price, but this is my first rodeo with these things... I wish they'd told me the price before they marked the fabric. I can just wear taller shoes I already own, so I asked them just to do the top and forget the bottom. When I picked up the dress, it still had all the chalk marks at the bottom that "we don't have the equipment to get out and you need to take it to a dry cleaner." They refuse to pay for the dry cleaner after they ruined the dress, and now I'm struggling to find someone I trust to get the marks out without ruining it further. Also, the dress is still kinda big in the corset and now I'm shopping for a push-up bra to help hold it up. Waste of money. Find someone better. The work is so-so, even after they charge you a zillion dollars for it. read more
