Based on the reviews on yelp Gabriel looked reputable however my experience was nothing but disappointment. He had used a different color thread for one of my dress pants, resized two slacks too small in the waist area that I can no longer wear, resize a leather skirt to small that is no longer wearable and the finish of his tailoring was not up to par. Working with Gabriel was a true pleasure from beginning to end. I approached him less than two months before my wedding, with an idea for a detachable train that could lay over the jumpsuit I already had. He was extremely patient and attentive as I described my vision, making sure he understood exactly what I wanted. I purchased the lace online and Gabriel was able to transform it into something even better than what I was hoping for. Despite juggling a ton of projects simultaneously, Gabriel communicated with me throughout the process of working on my train so I always knew what to expect and what his timing was. Gabriel saved the day for my wedding by tapering and slimming down a pair of Indochino made-to-measure pants for my suit that were way too baggy. After visiting another tailor who told me that he couldn't help me and thinking I was stuck with baggy pants, we found Gabriel on Yelp - he even made room for us for a same day appointment. When I tried on the pants, he immediately understood what I was looking for, corroborating my opinion that the pants were not very flattering. Gabriel asked what I was looking for and took some measurements. When we came back in a couple weeks, the pants were very well tailored with the modern, slim look I was looking for. I loved the fact that Gabriel offered to make further adjustments to the pants we weren't happy with it (which we did not need to take him up on!). Best tailor in the Bay Area hands down. I've brought many items for alterations to Gabriel and he's consistently knocked it out of the park. His specialty for me is shortening the sleeves through the shoulder. This makes a huge difference for me since this leaves the buttons and slit in tact.
