I called Ruffin Wranglers bc a friend of mine had used them in the past and only left bc she moved out of the area they serviced. The concept is completely different than any other doggie daycare I know. They come to your home, you have a choice of various time slots, they have a key to your home, and they pull up in a Honda Element with the other dogs in the area they have picked up. Your dog then gets to leave the house for about 2 and a half/ 3 hours to run around in beautiful fields with a lot of other happy pups. The staff encourages your dog to play and get lots of exercise in this timeframe that they need a day or two of sleeping to recoup. I am amazed at the transition my dog has had, she is 11 years old and has the onset of arthritis which caused her leg to shake a little in the past. She is now at the slimmest I have seen her and her leg no longer shakes. This constant exercise has done wonders for her. I can't say enough about how easy it is to work with them, they pick up your dog a minimum of 2 days a week, take her out, feed her when she gets home, and all while I am at work.

We found the official dog parks to be too unsupervised but he obviously loved playing when we took him to them. Then we found wranglers and now he has a safe place with loving attendants to go! Mark's mid day visit while I'm at work is a great addition to our morning walks. Bailey can be... a handful (big, strong, and sometimes dog reactive) so finding someone great with dogs, trustworthy and responsible was a must for me especially. Mark is all of those things and has quickly developed a great rapport with Bailey. I feel so much better going to work knowing he's in good hands while I'm there. Plus it's impossible not to smile when I get pictures of my dog having fun on his walks. I'd highly recommend Mark to any and all! Kate

In a moment of desperation I signed the wow-wow up for obedience boot camp with K-9 Connection. After one class with Kelly I realized we had gone all wrong training our first dog. This place has a major emphasis on positive reinforcement. Novel idea training your dog to love his name regardless of how it's said. Our former dog was trained in Boston with an emphasis on tone. Positive tone = good dog, negative tone = bad dog. Yelling for our dogs to come produces completely different results. Each week is progressively structured, building on the previous. Classes are around $25/hour and follow the same general formula: *discuss issues *practice previous learnings *show new *practice new *play with your pooch *show new *practice new *obstacle course fun time The facility is a large open space with two different pens so classes can run simultaneously. The front of the house is excellent at responding to emails and following up with placement and scheduling. We are ready for the next round.

The pick-up and drop off service is really convenient, especially for families with busy schedules and/or young kids, like ours. Minnie always comes back from daycare happy and exhausted! We have also used NPC's boarding services for anywhere from 1 night to several weeks at a time. I have never once worried about her care or wellbeing while she is staying at NPC. The owners are incredibly kind, caring people who treat Minnie like she is their own dog. Absolutely no cold, lonely cages like most boarding places use. Instead, Minnie gets to be comfortable on the couch with her second family while we are away. NPC really treats all of their customers and their pets as family; I feel very lucky to have a service like theirs in the neighborhood! NPC has been an absolute godsend during busy or stressful times for my family (the birth of my son, or my cross-country travels due to my mom's cancer diagnosis) -- my dog receiving high quality, reliable care is a given, because we know that NPC is there to help.

Afterwards the driver displayed the middle finger. I hope that there wasn't a clients' pet in the van as the driver could have caused an accident and clearly was only looking out for themselves and not the other drivers on the road. If they treat their business like they drive, I would never trust them with a loving part of my family. You should be ashamed of yourself.
