My partner took her to another trainer who she did not jive with, and upon hearing about the experience I began to question whether clicker training was right for us... and then we attended Heidi's introduction session together; now it made sense! Heidi and her team make sure that the human is trained first, before even starting with the pup. I feel like Heidi really understands and explains how dogs think and how our human behaviors and tendencies can result in undesirable dog traits. Her sessions are flexible, the book she provides is comprehensive and offers plenty of homework and future work. Our dog has learned so much in such a short time, wherever we go people are impressed by her manners and her listening skills. It's nice to be able to take our girl anywhere and not have to worry about how she will react. And it's fun watching how proud she is of her new skills! Additionally, the puppy playtime is Gracie's favorite. She loses her mind whenever she goes near a pet store because she is so excited at the idea that she is about to see her puppy friends. She gets a full hour of pure joy, we learn about proper dog interactions and what is okay and what is a potential issue. On top of that, we end up with a nice calm, tired pup. I'm kind of sad that she will be graduating this week. We will consider future training with Heidi as well as daycare, and are happy to recommend this training to everyone, it was well worth the time and money. Also, the staff at Rumford Pet(which is a separate entity) is very nice!

Recently moved to the area so I needed to find a new daycare for my dog. She had been going to the…read moreprior daycare for 4 years so I was nervous to try something new. I called Ruffin Wranglers bc a friend of mine had used them in the past and only left bc she moved out of the area they serviced. The concept is completely different than any other doggie daycare I know. They come to your home, you have a choice of various time slots, they have a key to your home, and they pull up in a Honda Element with the other dogs in the area they have picked up. Your dog then gets to leave the house for about 2 and a half/ 3 hours to run around in beautiful fields with a lot of other happy pups. The staff encourages your dog to play and get lots of exercise in this timeframe that they need a day or two of sleeping to recoup. I am amazed at the transition my dog has had, she is 11 years old and has the onset of arthritis which caused her leg to shake a little in the past. She is now at the slimmest I have seen her and her leg no longer shakes. This constant exercise has done wonders for her. I can't say enough about how easy it is to work with them, they pick up your dog a minimum of 2 days a week, take her out, feed her when she gets home, and all while I am at work.

We found the official dog parks to be too unsupervised but he obviously loved playing when we took him to them. Then we found wranglers and now he has a safe place with loving attendants to go! The dog needs to be fully vaccinated so we know he is not being exposed to anything. we Get videos sometimes which show the dogs joy. And he comes home knocked out!!

Ashlee is great! We started using her services a few months ago, through a recommendation from our…read moredog trainer. She is very knowledgeable and has lots of experience with animals! She has dogs and cats of her own, which are great for Simba ( our border collie) to play with. We usually use her when we have weekend trips so he stays overnight and we know he's in good hands. She is very reasonably priced and recommend her 100%.

First, Ashlee is a HUGE animal lover and it shows in how she interacts with her clients' pets and how they react and interact with her. My two boys get excited every time I say "Miss Ashlee is coming to see you guys today!" They love playing with her! Next, Ashlee is extremely reliable and responsive. There is never a time where, if I need to text or call her that I don't hear back either immediately or within an hour or so. Normally, Ashlee sees my guys 4 days a week for an afternoon play session in my yard. On occasion, I may be getting home late from work or may need some help on a weekend day. Ashlee is always ready to help how ever she can. Next, Ashlee is very capable of handling any type of dog. The combined weight of my two is close to 200 lbs. they're big and have strong personalities. Ashlee handles them both with ease. She understands what dogs need in a leader and how to be that leader, and have fun with them. Ashlee is also very well educated when it comes to canine health and nutrition. I often find myself consulting her if something comes up with one of my dogs. She's always willing to share what works for her and most dogs, and will point out if she sees something that should be changed or removed from their diets. Simply put, Ashlee is a lifesaver. I'm single and work full time. It would be hard for me to have two dogs without Ashlee's help. She means so much to all three of us and we're lucky to have her in our lives, helping us out each day she can. If you're looking for help with your dog in her area, it would be impossible to find anyone more dedicated and loving for your pet to spend time with than Ashlee!

The pick-up and drop off service is really convenient, especially for families with busy schedules and/or young kids, like ours. Minnie always comes back from daycare happy and exhausted! We have also used NPC's boarding services for anywhere from 1 night to several weeks at a time. I have never once worried about her care or wellbeing while she is staying at NPC. The owners are incredibly kind, caring people who treat Minnie like she is their own dog. Absolutely no cold, lonely cages like most boarding places use. Instead, Minnie gets to be comfortable on the couch with her second family while we are away. NPC really treats all of their customers and their pets as family; I feel very lucky to have a service like theirs in the neighborhood! NPC has been an absolute godsend during busy or stressful times for my family (the birth of my son, or my cross-country travels due to my mom's cancer diagnosis) -- my dog receiving high quality, reliable care is a given, because we know that NPC is there to help.

Afterwards the driver displayed the middle finger. I hope that there wasn't a clients' pet in the van as the driver could have caused an accident and clearly was only looking out for themselves and not the other drivers on the road. If they treat their business like they drive, I would never trust them with a loving part of my family. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Jill's vet tech skills also put our minds at ease while we're away. Should anything happen (which hasn't happened yet), I trust her completely to make a quick and responsible decision about how to handle any situation thrown at her. My cat was diabetic, requiring 2 insulin needle injections daily. Jill put me at ease before I'd even met her in person because she had cared for her own diabetic cat. She knew the kind of care, patience, and monitoring necessary for special needs pets. When we go out of town, we make arrangements over e-mail, and then receive text (or e-mail updates) while we're gone, sometimes with pics of our pets attached. Jill is incredibly responsive, over phone, text, and e-mail. For me, full communication is key. In addition, there is always a handwritten note from Jill when we return, which provides a full rundown of the pets' activities. Our apartment looks exactly as we left it. Most importantly, Jill knows animals. We have a couple shy pets, and she knows when not to push animals if they're not ready. But honestly, even the shy pets warmed up and trusted her quite quickly. That's my favorite part of working with Jill - knowing the bond she forms with each of our pets, on the terms that are best for each of them.

She was very accommodating to my needs and schedule and had all documentation necessary (background checked, photo ID) to give me the peace of mind I needed. Added bonus?
