Portions are large and the food is well cooked and fresh! I usually get the chengdu chicken, the beef with fresh hot veggies and the egg plant with garlic. Usually whatever is on the Szechuan cuisine list is my go to lol! Definitely a great addition to Middletown! Go try it out! Won't be disappointed!

Definitely I will. So the warm Dan Dan noodles were good, well spiced, but not overwhelming and noodles themselves were chewy. Sizzling shrimp, first huge jumbo shrimp so very generous on portions, plus cooked just right and bathe completely in the sauce, plenty of diced onions and peppers and mildly spicy over all. Chicken in chili oil was my favorite, I mean a whole cut chicken fit in that container, both white and dark meat, was tender and moist, plus the chili oil was just right spicy level without being assertive. This place I find special considering it's more of authentic Chinese cuisine rather than the typical Americanized version, that alone is a big draw for this place.

Fried chicken ramen. Broth not very hot. Underdeveloped broth flavor. Ramen was good consistency. Very light on the greens and other additions to the ramen. Fried chicken cutlets star of the show. Very light, hot and crispy. Pork ramen. Same as above. Pork was fair at best. Very fatty but tender. And what's with the corn in the ramen. That's for a cup of noodle. Which actually has a better taste profile than this ramen broth. Service was good. Waiter was very sweet and welcoming. Prices overboard for the quality they are serving. Will not return.

Way more expensive than what you get in the city! So I opted for the seafood ramen lunch special for $17 which came with a choice of 2 sides. Service was quick. The place was clean with a lot of tables. I read some of the reviews before coming here and they were right, the broth was not hot enough and was a little bland. So I was very disappointed. I decided to try their sesame balls despite the price - $8.49 for 2 pieces since I was already here hoping that would make it better. Unfortunately it also missed the mark. I saw other people order noodle dish and fried rice and left with clean plates - maybe those taste better. I really hoped this place would be good.

Whether I dine in or place an order to go, everyone is wonderful and the food is fantastic. Food is so delicious and fresh. Staff is excellent! It's so good here I once got caught in a snow storm heading back home. Did I know it was going to snow? Yes, absolutely. What better way to hunker down in a storm than with some House of Birria food! What should've been a 20/25 minute ride turned into over an hour ride. I was afraid, road was slippery/slow, I cried the entire ride home but, I sure wiped those tears straight away with those quesabirria tacos and my Jarritos ! Was it worth it? Definitely! Would I do that again? Nope! I want to keep enjoying their delicious creations so if there's snow in the forecast make sure you get them way in advance. What else can I say?House of Birria is really clean, drinks are tasty, food is delicious, staff is friendly and provide amazing service every single time and now they have a reward system. A pleasant experience every single time! Btw: the Birria Ramen is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I ate it so fast and realized I didn't get a pic until I was finished. Guess I have to go back; I don't mind one bit.

The pineapple aqua Fresca was sweet but not overpowering, wish they had strawberry one. For the tacos they bigger than street tacos by a mile and very generous with meat filling. Particularly the shrimp one was impressive since usually I find places that don't use jumbo size for shrimp tacos and just use popcorn size and a lot cilantro and onion to mask it. The consommé dip was incredible and glad they left chucks of beef in it like a little soup. The queso birria taco was not greasy or messy, right amount of cheese and beef. Best place for tacos in Middletown I had.

I really wanted to love this place since i thought it was going to be a cute local ramen shop. But…read morei was a little disappointed to be honest. I ordered 3 short rib ramens for my family. Ive tried so many ramen shops both in northern jersey as well as japan so i am well acquanted with the different types of ramen. I was a little disappointed to see that there was really no ramen variety. When i came and asked about the special, the shop was out so i was basically forced to buy 3 shoyu ramens. (Usually theres a choice of shio, miso, shoyu but there was no option for those here) Unfortunately, the "ramen" thats served here also does not taste like ramen at all. The soup base was actually quite bland and did not have the signature shoyu taste. The use of cabbages and carrots were not something i expected in my ramen either. I think if these were advertised as a noodle soup that would be more acceptable, but to say that it was ramen was a stretch. However, the egg was perfectly cooked and the noodles themselves were good. My family also ordered the buns which were a bit cold and soggy at the bottom. Overall the service was excellent and friendly so I give this a few stars. While I really wanted this to be my favorite local ramen shop, i was quite disappointed with the "ramen" taste. However, if you dont expect that familiar taste then maybe this is the place for you.
