We ordered the half dozen oysters, arancini, ceviche mixta, an Old Fashioned, and the Moscow Mule from the happy hour menu, and the soppressata salami pizza from the regular menu. They gave us the option to sit inside or outside, and since the weather was nice we chose outside -- unfortunately that ended up being the wrong call. If you have sensitive allergies, be aware that the outdoor seating area can be rough with dust, seedlings, and bugs flying around from the trees. Our table was also pretty dusty and wasn't cleaned before we were seated. As for the food, the portions looked a little underwhelming when they first arrived, even for a tapas place, but the flavors were actually really solid. The biggest surprise was the pizza -- the spicy oil added a good kick and easily ended up being our favorite dish of the night. We finished with the beignets, and I was surprised by the filling until I looked back at the menu and saw it was a ricotta almond style cream. The sugar cinnamon coating on the outside was a little sweet for me but the chocolate dip was a good offset. Overall, it's a decent happy hour spot to check out, but I'm not sure I'd personally go out of my way to come back again.

Great example of north west coast Mexican/American fusion. Cocktails were good and better. The killer here is that they offer a shot service (apologies if you love this) where they drown you in music at volume 11 whether or not you like it. There is literally nowhere you can sit and not be inundated by it. I get the Cabo vibe, but if I knew they did this beforehand, I would not have gone. Everything else was on point, but the shot service just needs to go.

It includes warm tortillas, grilled shrimp, fresh pico de gallo. The portion is generous enough for two adults, which makes it an even better value. The Surf & Turf Burger was another memorable dish. It's served on a sizzling hot plate set on a thick round wooden board with a built‑in drawer, and it comes with crispy potato wedges. The burger itself is stacked with grilled shrimp , salmon, and the patty. All nestled over a layer of gooey melted cheese. Rich, savory, and definitely filling. A fun extra: on weekends they have a photographer who goes table to table and takes your picture for $20 per photo. Nice touch if you're celebrating or just want a keepsake. Bold flavors, fun presentation, and hearty portions. A great spot when you want something satisfying and a little different.

I totally understand how they made the top 100 in the SF Chronicle list, it's so well deserved!…read more I have only heard golden reviews of goodtime bar through peers and thought it was a great time to finally check it out! I came here with a friend on a weekday for dinner and it was not packed at all. The atmosphere was very minimalist and clean, with a cute disco ball in the corner. This establishment requires you to order at the bar (makes sense it's a bar), and then they did you a number for the table so they can deliver your food. Any drinks you order they will make it right then and there for you to bring over. In terms of food, here is everything we ordered and my thoughts! *Deviled eggs: You would think since it's deviled eggs, there wouldn't be anything too special about them but I appreciated the small pops of salmon roe that added a nice textural play with the creamy eggs! * Bluefin tostada: Absolutely delicious with fresh tuna, paired with mango, on a crispy wonton chip. What a rich treat. * Arancini: The twist of fusion flavors was great. I love how the Japanese curry added a nice mix of umami, paired with the sharp creamy kimchi sauce. Definitely a favorite! * Pork belly: Pull apart, juicy, and tender! These paired actually really well with the arancini for a good balance of rice and meat. * Red miso crème brûlée: interesting sweet and salty flavor combination between the red miso and Madagascar vanilla. Not too overpowering tho. A lovely meal was had here!

Also, it had a New York type vibe with the brick walls and it wasn't too dark so we weren't struggling to look at menus or anything. The bartenders were quick and got to us within minutes. I'm currently not drinking any alcohol, so I ordered a Coco L'Orange, which ended up tasting like a sweeter Orange Julius. I really enjoyed it like a dessert drink since I just had dinner. I also appreciated how it didn't just taste like straight sugar syrup, which is my usual experience with spirit free cocktails. However, it was pretty tart, so I suggest just sipping on it. It helped a lot with feeling like was drinking with everyone the whole time without having to order multiple drinks. Regarding seating, we somehow found a table in the back where our party of 18 guys could hangout, and it wasn't so loud we couldn't hear each other. I barely go out anymore, but in this area I now prefer this establishment since I could sip on a good non-alcoholic drink without worrying about someone accidentally running into me and spilling on me. There were also plenty glass water bottles going around to keep everyone hydrated.
