Then I contacted Christensen Computer Company. Richard called me very shortly after I sent a request. He was flexible with scheduling a day to come look at our cameras. He was very communicative during the whole process and always made sure I received a call back. When he got here to look at the camera, he immediately started investigating. I don't know much about cameras, but I knew our system was older and had a LOT going on. I could tell right away, Richard was very knowledgeable. He immediately spotted all the little pieces of our system and how it was connected, and confirmed it did have a LOT going on. However, this did not deter him. Richard explained to me how our system was set up and started talking about different solutions depending on the problem. Our camera ended up needing a simple fix and it has been working great since. I bought the key fob a car and truck remote for $104 in Dale had Active Lock And Key programmed it and cut the key for $240. It turns out my car was locked to prevent a new key fob from being made because it was a previously leased car. Dale Figured out how to unlock it. And created a new key fob that works perfectly. Also showed me how to get into my car or should the battery on the key fob died which was useful information. I am extremely happy that I found him.

This review is also about their tech support which we had to call for a lot in the past year: first to upgrade our system as we put it in 18 years ago; and then because we remodeled our basement so they had to come out a few times to deal with construction dust setting things off, moving motion detectors when walls were moved, adding new window contacts etc. Two of their service techs specifically are amazing: Gus and Mara. I feel extremely lucky when they send either of them out. Especially Mara. She stands out as being the most competent service tech - of *any company* I have ever dealt with. She assesses the situation, makes recommendations for better solutions, advocates for the customer if needed, and then executes the solution flawlessly, efficiently, quickly. They were really willing to help us and achieved a lot of savings even with upgraded products. Vincent and Blanca have been very attentive and easy to work with. Vincent was even willing and able to retrofit some of our older cameras with newer wiring so we're set for future upgrades. Workmanship - Initially I was very concerned with getting a new security system because of all the added wires and equipment peaking out from all areas, but the techs that installed our system did an amazing job at hiding everything. I can't imagine what all goes into stringing these cables through ceilings entails, and it all happened so fast, they basically started one day and 5 cameras appeared on walls/ceilings/stair bays the next day. Product - Of course after great prices and excellent workmanship, there had to be something skimped somewhere like the DVR/cameras, but they didn't! Cameras have an ultra wide angle with excellent color and sharpness. This is from the experience with previous Sony system that we were using that was a bit older, but also high quality from ADT - the pictures look great and the DVR is very easy and fast to work with.
