I was a little upset because the cleaners came 1.5 hrs early saying they were already in the area and could they come so I felt rushed, then one of the cleaners mentioned they don't move things when cleaning , they don't wipe off certain couches or mirrors. I hired Nick for my move out deep clean. That was great, especially because he had a helper. Form my move in deep clean he came alone. I told him when he arrived that this job would be too big for one (and that we were paying hundreds to have it done well). Well, alas, 8 hours later he is sweating, tired and overworked. He could not finish the work and many things were left unfinished or uncleaned altogether. The outside windows he left undone because his extender tool broke. He committed to returning and finishing them when we did the maintenance clean (as we were then planning). I reached out to him some weeks later to set up the maintenance clean and he did not reply. I decided not to follow up on it since I wasn't satisfied with the second job. But I did ask him two weeks later still to say that I still wanted him to follow up on the completion of the windows as committed. He replied to that text saying he would give a partial refund because he no longer does windows or works the suburbs. I am very disappointed (as I did not want the money, I wanted the cleaning). I may increase the rating from 3 stars to 4 stars if he actually follows through with a reasonable refund for incomplete work. His heart is in the right place and he has the capacity for good work (we saw it in job 1) but he may not have the follow through needed. Anyway, I hope this helps someone. I hope in the future he will not forget to follow through. That is my biggest concern. In this case, he has followed through with the promised refund and it is sufficient. They may have been good in the past but all the recent reviews show their service is getting worse. I booked them based on positive yelp reviews to clean just the kitchen and bathroom of a rental property (small studio). Upon arrival, he told me they only do surface cleaning for the $130 fee, anything else is extra. $30 more if they need to clean the oven, $45 more if they need to clean the fridge. He seemed more interested in inflating the invoice than the actual cleaning. Three people showed up for the cleaning and stayed barely an hour. He also charged me for parking in spite of the fact I told him there is free parking two blocks away from the building. $170 total so it is more than $56 per person per hour. If you think that is a reasonable rate for some superficial cleaning, go ahead and hire them. I am definitely staying away. Ironically he actually lost a lot more business by inflating his invoice as I was planning on hiring them for my other rental properties. Also as previous reviews stated, he requested last minute reschedule 2 hours before the original scheduled time. They were also 15 minutes late to the new agreed upon time (agreed to 2:30 reschedule and they didn't arrive until 2:45). read more

I am grateful that Kickbak was able to come and help with the deep cleaning of my rental property. The property was pretty BAD. These 2 guys were exhausted when they left. I was not fully satisfied however with the cleaning. There was still some residue left on the cabinets and the floors were not completely cleaned. I found Kickback Cleaners by requesting quotes for cleaning services through Yelp. The owner was super responsive and helpful in answering all my questions. In my booking I requested that the team focus in the bathrooms and floors and if there was time the kitchen. And they pretty much did that, but the devil really was in the details. I think part of the trouble was one of the people in the team was new and required constant instruction from his teammate on how to do EVERYTHING. They cleaned every mirrored surface which is awesome cause I don't have time to do that regularly, but every single one was terribly streaked. Upon inspection bathtub in my second bathroom had not been cleaned at all and was full of dust as we seldom use it. The floor in our first bathroom was not cleaned properly and there were a couple spots I had to scrub by hand myself. My bathroom sink was wiped out but it couldn't have been with any sort of cleaning solution because it was still covered in soap scum. The floors in most the rest of the apartment were spotless and literally squeaky clean. They did tidy in some areas in order to clean while in others they just cleaned around something small that could have easily been picked up. I definitely had to re-clean and disinfect my kitchen sink and counter because they were visibly not clean. All in all, my home was definitely cleaner when they left. Was it worth $200? I'm not sure. Would I hire them again? Probably not, but I think if you get the right team with two experienced people they may do a bang up job. read more

They did a good job cleaning but after they left I received an email that I was being charged another $50 because of excessive dust and that it took them longer than expected.
