Unfortunately, they recently downgraded the quality of their torta buns.... but their tacos are SO DANG GOOD. Please switch to better buns. My favorite dish there are the carnitas tacos, which are UNPARALLELED, with mandarin oranges, jicama, and a to die for creme, with perfectly crispy shredded pork. Heaven in your mouth. Delicious! Good selection of soft tacos. We tried the carnitas, steak, and mole verde. They were all amazing. House margs were delicious. For dessert we had a cinnamon chocolate pudding which we ate before we finished our tacos,lol. The line was out the door when we arrived, took about 20 minutes to order, 15 more for food. A very unique taco place in the Whit. I tried their grilled chicken, carnitas, carne asada and Bulgogi (special) tacos with a margarita. Their Bulgogi was properly seasoned with the correct korean flavors and had good kimchi on it. Each taco is a healthy portion of meat and well worth the try! read more

I finally decided to pop into tacovore after passing it numerous times and my friend and I found it really enjoyable PROS the staff we interacted with was lovely, polite and encouraging the tacos were really delicious and reasonably priced they had specials that were really intriguing I liked the restaurant's atmosphere, I didn't see much of the bar or the patio but it looked inviting loved all the salsa options CONS our food didn't arrive at the same time it's VERY loud inside it's definitely not ~authentic~ but I'm okay with that I know some people just want their tacos cheap and tasty and that's fine, but if you'd like a little ambiance and experience I think tacovore is an excellent option read more

Visited this restaurant Saturday evening and was not disappointed! We went because we wanted to try out a cucumber margarita, but their hand blended margaritas change, so we ended up trying the blackberry mint and it was sooo good! I ordered the pork taco and it was seriously one of the best things I've ever tasted! It has super tasty and juicy pork, jicama slaw, mandarins oranges, jalapeños and a delicious crema on it. My friend ordered the OG taco and the fish taco I believe. We also got the chips and salsa. Service was fast and the food was divine! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the price is pretty high and you have to buy the chips and salsa. Otherwise, I loved it! read more

I like this place!!! It's like a trendy Mexican restaurant that specializes in tacos! I'm usually really picky about my tacos and tend to like "street" style tacos better, but this place def makes it up with its flavor. My party ordered a wide variety of tacos and the chips & salsa and guacamole appetizer. The guacamole honestly wasn't too full in avocado goodness, but the salsa was good. I think their tortilla chips are what made the condiments good though! They tasted fresh and were very warm. Plus, you can also try it with the variety of salsas they provide by the utensils. The habanero one was hot but super tasty! As for the tacos, THE HERBIVORE TACOS were really really good! I probably should've started my review about those omg I'm no vegan, but I can be if I could eat that all day! The carne asade was just okay though. This is a really cute place. Counter service style. Really good tacos. And even specials that change. The grilled chicken taco is amazing. They make their own guacamole and it's got so much flavor. They also have a lot of different house made salsas to choose from. My favorite is the habanero and the chipotle salsas. They make great margaritas too. The food also comes out pretty quick even when they are super busy. And it's usually always busy. Sometimes, only twice they've forgotten my order and I've had to go up and ask for it. But the second time the male server with a light brown beard gave me a margarita to make up for the mistake. Threat place to eat. Usually really quick and I love all of their tacos. read more

I have given Tacovore so many chances because I want it to be good and it fails me every time. Have actually gotten sick after eating here twice. The carnitas has way to much fat left on it. The tacos were very good but not anything too special. I thought they were spendy but with all the extra specialty toppings I could see why they have higher than normal prices for a taco. The carnitas taco has a smoked pork taste which is a different taste to many of the tacos I've ate at traditional taco stands. I added there pineapple jalapeño sauce that brought it over the top. I've tried the fish and also calamari tacos this brought my total stars to a 3. Pricing is ok but parking is miserable in this area. read more

I've had Tacovore before but tonight was just downright bad. My friends both ordered tacos and they both came out cold and not tasty. One of them ordered a taco with avocado, yet it came with no avocado and the waiter was rude when he brought it out to her. The $12 salad I got was bland and not worth the money. Normally we absolutely love dining at Tacovore before the pandemic. Great drinks and food when in person. It's different ordering online. We ordered food online for takeout and arrived when we were supposed to but didn't get our food until an hour later. It was cold all the way through and didn't rewarm well when we were home. I was craving Mexican food and Tacovore delivered! I am from the East coast, so a lot of people in Eugene say it is not "true Mexican" food but the Carnitas taco was by far the best. I have actually gone back again for it! They are small tacos, so I suggest getting 2 if you are hungry. I also tried the House Margarita and let me tell you they do not skimp on the Tequila. I took my daughter and one of her friends to get tacos. We had chips and (a small amount of) salsa to start, 2 tacos each, I had a margarita, and they had a Sprite each. I asked for extra salsa and was told it would cost extra. The tacos were blah at best. Cost? Almost $50! So don't believe the $$ listed. Plan to shell out mass-cash for super-cheap food to make!
