I had seen their IG page one night and stopped by and try a couple of tacos to see how it was before I decided whether or not it was worth coming back for. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint one bit. The tortillas are made by hand right in front of you and fried to perfection. They make them slightly thicker which in my opinion is fantastic (I'll explain why later). For meat options, they have a ton of choices, from asada, al pastor, pollo, lengua, buche, tripa, suadera and even cueritos. I'm sure I'm missing more options. For my tacos, I went with asada and al pastor. The al pastor was extremely juicy, probably the juiciest al pastor I've ever had. Flavor-wise, the flavors were very delicate and mild. I found that not going overboard on the toppings really brought out the flavor of the al pastor marinade. Otherwise if you just drown it in sauce that's all you will taste. For the asada, because they actually grill their asada over a charcoal grill, it has a very intense and deep barbecue smoke flavor. A bit on the dry side, but nothing crazy. Both the al pastor and asada I had were not too heavy on grease either contrary to some of the reviews, but even if it was, why does that matter? It's not like you're eating a salad here.. Did I mention they PACK their tacos with meat here?? To the point where it was almost hard for me to pick up my tacos without making a mess. This is where that thicker-than-average tortilla comes in handy. It really holds the meat and juices in well and in my opinion, provides a great balance that ties the entire taco together very well. No double tortilla needed here. Aside from that, all toppings such as onions and cilantro are on the side, self-serve, including salsa. They've got a pretty large variety of salsas, from green and red salsas, avocado, and a habanero type salsa. Towards the end of the toppings, they have self-serve sides such as cucumbers, pickled red onions with chiles, and pickled jalapenos. Once you have your tacos all loaded up, they've got several agua frescas to go with your meal which I didn't try, but they all looked amazing. I really hope I'm not sounding too snobby, but their food was just so damn good that I had to write a review about it LOL.

Experience was good nonetheless, and the owners even gave us a cup of free Horchata to try. Will definitely be revisiting!

I wish I knew his name, but there's a guy there (shorter height and clean haircut) who gives some of the best customer service I've experienced. Super friendly, accommodating, and genuinely wants to make sure you get exactly what you're craving. One thing to note--there's a menu, but no pictures or brochures, so you kind of have to know what you want or ask. Luckily, he's more than happy to walk you through options. Nachos - Exactly how I remember nachos should be. The chips are those pre-made round ones (like Tostitos Rounds), but still crunchy and satisfying. The meats taste freshly cooked, with a nice sprinkle of veggies. And the best part--they use that classic nacho cheese and sour cream combo. The kind of cheese you'd get at 7-Eleven or a Dodgers game. Not the healthiest, but sometimes I want what I want. Tacos - Simple and classic. You really can't go wrong here. I've tried different meats and they've all been solid. Wet Burritos - Great balance of rice, beans, meat, and veggies. I've had the chicken, carne asada, and al pastor--all delicious. It also comes with a side of lettuce and sliced avocado, which is a nice touch. Side Bar - Fresh radishes, pickled jalapeños, lime, and lemon. Everything tastes fresh and adds a lot to the meal. What really stands out is how flexible they are with orders. I asked for nacho cheese on the side so my chips wouldn't get soggy--no problem. Extra salsa? As much as you want. Not sure if you want red or green salsa on your wet burrito? Get both on the side. They make it easy to customize exactly how you like it. Overall, great food, but even better service. This is the kind of spot that I don't want to review so I can keep it for myself.
