Tacos Reyes never disappoints. I finally got around to trying the breakfast burritos. I ordered 1 each of sausage, steak and chorizo. Not all for me! my parents also enjoyed them. My parents both loved the steak. I was torn between the chorizo and the steak but leaning more towards chorizo. We all agreed the sausage was just ok. It was basic breakfast sausage patties cut in half. I ordered to go at the inside counter and my order was ready within minutes. My parents are ordering steak burritos again this week for breakfast so I will try another new item. read more

The portions were generous and the service was speedy and friendly. The food was fine, but I suspect there's a difference in quality depending on what you order. The nachos were fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way for them. This was a cute little spot though for a meal. read more

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area, but tonight really left a sour taste in my mouth. When we arrived, there were only two other tables occupied--one with two adults who already had their food, and another with two adults and three kids who were also eating. We ordered a kids' chicken nugget meal, trio fajitas, and quesabirria. Despite the light crowd, our food took nearly an hour to come out, and no one checked in or gave us any update on the delay. To make matters worse, a group of four people came in well after we placed our order and received their food before us. The food was delicious; we got the fajitas, chicken and steak; also had the stuffed avocado, with chicken. Both dishes had a good portion of meat, the rice was delicious, the refried beans were ok, nothing special. Prices are reasonable. The free chips and salsa were mediocre, I would not recommend them. We had iced tea and it was good, the waitress was attentive and refilled our drinks without prompting. The only glitch was for some reason our order for the fajitas didn't get back to the kitchen. They finally fixed it. As compensation they comped our drinks without prompting. read more

Staying in Jefferson, not any good spots there. Found this spot and worth the drive. Had the breakfast tacos, they were generous with the bacon and tasty. Wife got potato said it was real good. Coffee was fresh and good. Recommend 10/10 read more

Today had a Gringa and a Taqueso. The Gringa is like other taco except 2 tortillas with melted cheese between. The Taqueso is more interesting. First time having birria in the states, I'm not sure the kind of meat used but it was a bit dry . There was a good amount of cheese but very little meat. The texture is the chips we were served was crispy and fresh but way too salty. Honestly just not impressed by the food we had this time but would come back to try different dishes and their drinks. 90% of the time you can tell how good a taco restaurant is gonna be from just the chips and salsa. These guys nailed it! Warm chips and great salsa to start things off. Since tacos are part of the restaurant name I went with the quesobirria tacos. Absolutely delicious, and the wife had the stuffed avocado. Quite tasty as well, along with their rice which doesn't have the usual mixed veggie medley that seems to be popular in a lot of places. Can't stand that nasty kind of rice. Plain and simple with good flavor. Kind of a small dining area and it began to fill up fast at 11:30, that was when I knew we were in a good place. Definitely plan on returning to try more dishes on the menu when we make our next trip down to spend time with family. Probably bring them in as well to share the goodness. read more
