Wright On Taco - Marshall Tx Just a short detour off I-20 to Marshall Tx for some tacos and BBQ. The brisket was outstanding, some of the best anywhere on the planet as well as the turkey and Texas Twinkie. The star of the show is the taco we had "The Sweetness" with lightly battered shrimp sweet and spicy with slaw. "The Linda Lou" fish taco was on the daily specials and was fantastic. The BBQ fries with pulled pork, queso, chimi, cojita, pickled red onions and cilantro was definitely a winner. The elote was crazy good...a must try. The bbq sauce was great with a chili punch at the end. The in-house pimento cheese is also one of the best I've ever had. Wright On Tacos & BBQ has a new home in Marshall at 409 E Grand Ave (US 80). Finally, a place with ample parking. Plenty of seating, both indoors and on a covered patio. This is fine, craft BBQ, which has inspired an eclectic menu of great tacos. The sides are excellent, including the Texas Twinkie, a bacon-wrapped jalapeno stuffed with BBQ -- a meal in itself. Each plate is made to order. The only downside is the selection of pricey bottled soft drinks, teas, and bottled water. read more

We waited to try the new location in the old DQ building. We had brisket and sausage. Good bark and excellent sausage. Good sauce with vinegar taste. Texas Twinkies are very good The food was great in Harleton; I bet they excel here. read more

Had walked in, looked at the prices and left. Came back because Bodacious didn't have brisket. Ordered a Brisket taco with bacon and queso. It wasn't bad. Actually, it was damn good, albeit greasy. But from time I ordered to received the food was 26 minutes. There was one family who placed their order ahead of me whose food came out in a timely manner. I was served after some who came in and ordered a few minutes after I did. Service needs to improve and the prices are too high for what you get. read more

Should be called "Wrong Taco". We waited 45 mins the first time and decided to give them another try thinking it was just an off day but no we were wrong. We gave them a second chance and the last chance. We waited 40 mins this time and both times were drive thru orders. The BBQ and sides are mediocre at best. When we finally received our order it was wrong and the food looked like it was just thrown together sloppy. The sides were small, didn't even fill up the container and were overpriced. The BBQ sandwich was skimpy and overpriced. I make better BBQ in my backyard. The fried avocado in the tacos didn't hardly have any batter on it. Don't know how this place got any good reviews. And I don't know how this place will stay in business with overpriced mediocre food. NEVER AGAIN. read more

This is for the Marshall location. The food as always wonderful. My favorite is the Sweetness and the Dude. I always order too much but they great the next morning. The salsa is really good and spicy. The only complaint is the location and the fact that there is only drive through. If there is a line, it will only accommodate 3 cars and sometimes the wait is lengthy. I really hope they move their location soon. read more

Friendly service and great food. Eight of us visited and many different orders were made. Everyone loved their food. The shrimp had a light batter, nice size, and perfectly prepared, The servings involving chopped BBQ had generous servings of delicious, non greasy meat and were very reasonably priced. My only comment is the menu items have unique names, but do have a description of the product. However, I was not sure of what I would receive based on the menu, but it was wonderful. Don't expect a regular Tex-Mex taco but a PILE of delicious meat on a flower tortilla with guac and a nice container of salsa along with lots of seasoned corn tortillas. Highly recommended. read more
