Tacos are okay. Kinda dry and flavorless. Nobody was inside at 7:00pm. Weird. There are ICE signs posted on the doors. Interesting... Nothing special about this place. I've had better. read more

Food is always consistent . Jamaica on point .quick and convenient , with friendly staff

Tacos Mexico in Pomona has become my go-to lunch spot whenever I'm working on a project in the city. I stop by once or twice a week--it's right on the way to the material shop, and it's always quick and dependable. My regular is the Burrito Asada or Burrito Tripas, always crispy when I go for the Tripas. But I keep it simple and keto-friendly by ordering it pura carne--just meat, no rice or beans. The lady behind the counter remembers me every time and already knows what I want before I even say it. That kind of service always stands out, especially when you're a regular on the move. The burritos are just right, good portion, well-seasoned, and always fresh off the grill. It's not a fancy place, but it's clean, consistent, and does exactly what it's supposed to do: serve up solid food fast. read more

I came here with my husband to check it out. We'll let me tell you we're not going back. No one wears gloves. Olivia the cashier has no personality, not friendly. She's rude at the way she responses. Terrible music playing. The food is alright. But seeing they dont wear hair nets and gloves, im disgusted now! read more

Taco Tuesday is a must! Their tacos are delicious. Asada, carnitas, pollo, pastor, and buche. All taste great with their house salsa. They also have lengua and chorizo at regular price. They are quick to get your food out after you've ordered and you leave with a full, happy stomach. It's not a fancy place, but it's worth the stop if you're looking for some good tacos. Verde nachos look amazing, and I've heard good things about the Chile relleno burrito. Stop and give them a try. read more

Amazing food! Fast and easy service!! Wife & I loved it, Will definitely be coming back! read more

Do not eat here!! I stopped by to order tacos. I specifically told the attendant to write down the orders , and of course he failed to do that. I was missing one taco on my order I order 8 and was given 7) and they made a big deal out of it , claiming it was there, I show them that the taco was missing, and they still gave me an attitude about it. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place!! There are many other tacos place that are more professional and who care more about for their customers. read more

I'm very put off and UPSET that I found a piece of plastic in my burrito this morning. For the amount I paid for this, I don't expect for this to happen. I understand these things do happen, but it shouldn't! read more

The cabeza tacos are on point, the rice and beans always hits the spot. Everyone here is quick and friendly. The salsa verde is my favorite with some chips and horchata. Parking is easy to get in and out of. The noise level is average for any taqueria. ! Dress casual, bring the Familia there's plenty of space ! read more

I ordered taquitos and they were not tasty, over fried. The guacamole was so watery. Very sad, used to be good there. Maybe the tacos are better. read more

My washer broke so I had to hit the laundry mat... I drive by this place basically on every errand because I live in the area. I was like eh let me try it while I wait on my laundry. Got a queso birria taco & an al pastor sope. Not even joking you I finished it 2 minutes ago & came to write this review. IT IS SO GOOD YOU GUYS OH MY GOD! I didn't get a picture I tore that up so fast but easily the best mexican food I've had in a minute! If you're in the area TRY IT. New to town?! TRY IT. I've only lived here 2 years but why did I wait?! I'm tempted to drive back thru & order more on the way home lol read more

Taco Tuesday for $1.25!! The asada meat was actually decent quality and the Al pastor weren't bad. You can't go wrong with that. Specially since it seems like they raise the rent on the taco street vendors stands around p-town because they charge like $3-$5 per taco now.. Newsflash the pandemic meat shortage excuse has been gone for a long time now. read more

Tacos Mexico food is always meeting my expectations. Unfortunately, today was not a good day. I received my order, and paid what I usually pay but in cash and wasn't given a receipt. One of my burritos was replaced with a taco. So instead of enjoying a burrito, I had a taco for dinner, very unfortunate. Some people may say, check your order before leaving. I've never understood that, if a restaurant makes a mistake, I just don't return. I'm at odds here because I love Tacos Mexico. Im not a freeloader so I don't want anything from them. I'm not sure if I'll return to this location, people packing orders need to get it right. read more

I just left their establishment. This will be my fourth time coming at first I had no problems. Food is OK but tonight as I walk in ready to order my food to go as always, the lady is having a full-blown conversation with somebody in the driveway I understand Spanish as well, but I'm standing in there waiting patiently, she sees me waiting and tells me to wait and proceeds to have her conversation. And also note that the person she was having the conversation with in the drive-through never even ordered anything Also the young cook just gave me a funny look with an attitude and I don't play about my food so I just walked out. I'd rather spend my money somewhere else and somewhere that don't make me feel uncomfortable and establishment that is professional because every time I come there they have a tip jar that's always empty and I always make sure after I order I tip so I don't get the disrespect or the hostility, but I will not be spending my money there anymore‼ read more

A super tasty, hearty local spot for legit Mexican food. Hits the spot! Don't expect much with the service or interior but in my opinion that makes things taste better. Since the 90s I've always said Tacos Mexico over King Taco and to this day I still believe it true. First off King Taco food doesn't even come with lemon/lime...how unMexican is that?! But besides that the prices stay low here and the food always legit. Fortas, Burritos, Chile Relleno, whatever you are feeling, they probably got it! read more

Tacos Mexico - Asada Torta - Mexican Near Me - Pomona, California

The following review is my opinion based on the services I received from Tacos Mexico. The dining area needs a lot of work. I'm sure there are some building and safety code violations. The booths are loosely attached to the floor. There are some areas of the dining area that are missing floor tiles. As far as the food goes it was less than pleasing. I ordered the three taco combo. When I reached to take a bite of the first taco that was filled with dry chicken the tortilla fell apart. Not how you want to enjoy a soft shell taco. As I have mentioned, the chicken was completely dry and yucky. But, I must say the rice and beans were very good. The beans had a hint of lard and lots of yummy flavor. The rice tasted freshly made in house. Soft spongy but not soggy. The salsa was wonderful spicy and the onions and cilantro the dry tacos were garnished with was fresh tasting. As for the customer service there was a rude lady ordering food and the associate was still very kind and still offered wonder customer service. I won't be going back but it was fun. read more

Literally just ordered. No customer service. The Hispanic later that takes the orders doesn't smile and takes your order with her head tilted like, " what else?, and "what else". Maybe they would have more customers here if they smiled more. read more

This place is not good. The tacos are extremely small. The soda tastes like cleaning solution is mixed in or some strange concoction. The service is mediocre. Never not had good food here. The spot for tacos I usually get flautas and smother them in the green sauce yum yum

Literally the longest weight of my life. It was a long way food was at best mediocre. Never going back

This place has been okay decent prices however they lack good customer service the Woman always in the drive thru is extremely rude . U ask for salsa rolls eyes, ask for more napkins rolls eyes . I went in today and had my food done all wrong and had to go back for them to fix it not even an apology or "what can I do for you ". Their food isn't even all that but I like supporting small business ! This is the last time I go to this place tho there's many great places with great food and great customer service and this one ain't it!! read more

Excellent street tacos. They are so delicious and so it their rice! The green sauce is just the right heat. I am obsessed with their tacos!

I've been here more than a handful of times and their customer service has always been nice to me. Taco meats are all tender and solid flavor to be a returning customer. Simple street tacos and menu items, if you're looking for fancy, this isn't it. If you want tasty, street food, this is it! read more

I was craving menudo so I decided to come through and order some from this mexican restaurant that I pass by every day. I sat at the drive thru for almost 3 minutes and nobody ever came to take my order. Love coming here for their burritos on Thursdays. Besides them being on sale, they're super flavorful.

I had not been to Tacos Mexico in a few years. I decided to give them a try and had a chicken gordita. Yum! The chicken was moist and flavorful along with the beans, cheese, crema, lettuce, salsa and with the perfectly fried masa disc was delicious! So delicious that I have been back at least once or twice a week this past month. read more

Ok so it's been many months since I've been here and they have made some significant changes. They've updated their menu, they are chip ready (finally), they reduced their card charge (which you know really irritated me). **Gluten free note** Unfortunately with the changes there are some downsides. I see a lot more fried things on the menu so I'd be careful with the fries. I've had the mulita and tacos with no problems. I decided I'm going to start marking my gluten-free bias point here. I elect to give restaurants +/- .5 stars on their total based on my personal gluten free bias. But for now this place gets no bias: 0pts My old review still stands for some issues but I'm going to increase a few of these. Food: Solid 3. But honorable 4.5 mention to the mulita!!! Service: 3 Ambience: 2 (no changes here yet) Price: 3.5 (but the mulita is friggin worth it!) Ok so if you haven't already guessed, the mulita and reduced card charge are two of the best changes I've seen so far. The mulita is a Mexican junk foodie's dream. Crispy griddle corn tortillas, ample cheese, and the meat you choose! It's like a Mexican pupusa lol and it's phat. (fat too haha) I've never seen these done, but I've seen quesadillas with meat. And... Well if you follow me you'll see my junk food excitement because corn tortillas are gluten free!! I've eaten these twice now with no problems. I'd give then a 4 if I was rating only these things yuuuummmyyy! I think they have just a few more changes to make. Salsa is basic (tastes a little... From-the-jar), tacos are still soft (but pretty tasty). I do like their asada (3) and their cabeza is actually quite tasty (4). I still have to try a bit more from their menu. I swear if they make just a few more updates this place could get into the 4-star fast food Mexican pretty easily. Happy eating! read more

Okay so this review is based on one order. Haven't been there in months and I can say food has improved. They were friendly and double checked order for accuracy. We got carne asada burritos and chicken and both were really good. I've been to other local locations and the meat is either too greasy or has too much fat. These were perfect. I always base my reviews on the food itself since service can be circumstantial but they were super friendly regardless. read more

Excellent carne asada burrito. The carne asada was very flavorful. Very nice employees and clean dining room.

If i could give negative stars, I would. This place has the worst customer service and absolutely lazy staff I've ever seen. We came here Wednesday night and the business hours POSTED OUTSIDE showed 10:30pm as closing time. We arrived at 9:10pm. All doors were locked and the ladies refused to look at us. They simply wanted to close earlier than the business hours. I cannot believe the deception and laziness. I will never come here for food ever again. read more
