They were sweet about it and said of course. So good. I was tempted to try the mac but things were a bit pricey. That's inflation though. My taste buds were woot-woot-ing! We must support our family owned businesses. This is one I will def be back to.

I'm not sure what food truck he was eating from, but my experience was 180 degrees in the other direction. Seeing as I was at the Ventura County Fair I was on a mission to eat the food I normally eschew. First stop was an artisanal corn dog, followed by corn-on-the-cob with parmesan and smoked paprika. I stopped in front of the Sweet Edna truck to get my culinary bearings when Dale came out from behind the truck with a welcoming smile and asked if I'd had anything from the truck and after telling him I was weighing my options he challenged me to find anything better than the "Big Beulah" -- tri-tip, pulled pork and a hotlink. Game on! And what a game it was! Wow! Life altering deliciousness. Each of the flavours stood on their own, while yet harmonizing in the food equivalent of a Julliard trained string quartet. Add to this a side of mac and cheese (heavenly, thank you for asking) and it was food truck love at first bite. The banana pudding, Deonté's special creation, was some of the best I have ever had. I will certainly be following these guys on Instagram to visit them in as many Ventura County locations as I can.

There are no fancy contracts, no drama, and no surprises--just a handshake, a date, and a headcount. I tell Wayne when we're eating and how many mouths we need to feed, and he shows up on time, fully prepared, and ready to deliver. That kind of reliability is rare, and it means everything when you're feeding a large group. The food is consistently excellent, the service is smooth, and the whole operation reflects pride, experience, and family values. You can tell this is a family-owned business that genuinely cares about doing things right. When you find people you can trust completely, you stick with them--and that's exactly why we'll continue to use It's in the Sauce for future reunions. Highly recommended without hesitation.

We probably wouldn't have dropped by it if someone hadn't told us about it. The staff was kind, friendly, and gave suggestions when we asked questions about the various meat options. The cash register is right straight in as you walk in. There are communal benches outside and a few high top tables inside, but the restaurant seemed to get a lot of pick up orders. Food came out within 5 minutes on a Saturday at lunch, which I was weary about since it's BBQ - but everything ended up still being hot and juicy. We ended up going with the 3-meat plate for about $30 total. It was enough for 2 people (or 1 really hungry person!). We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, and hot links which came with garlic bread and two sides of our choice - the star of the show was for sure the burnt ends, which were juicy and deeply flavorful. The brisket was moist, which I feel like is hard to find, but I do wish it had more flavor. The hot links were also good but didn't have much nuance either. Next time, we'll definitely save room to try some dessert, which was only $5! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!

Our venue was coordinating a catering option that ultimately fell through the week before our event - luckily, Roaming Hunger was easily found on Google and their follow-up with quotes, coordination, and next steps made the whole last-minute booking experience a breeze. Roaming Hunger literally saved the day and helped me sleep better at night! The fact that I was able to browse food truck options and book all in ONE DAY was clutch. Our account manager, Jody, helped book a next-day consultation and review options immediately - Roaming Hunger's use of technology is so seamless, from reviewing proposals, to booking a consulting call, to selecting and paying a reservation hold - it all worked together so well. The process was painless and rather amazing!!! In the final steps of our pre-event process, our catering and events coordinator, Ashton, helped confirm all details with the food truck and translate some dietary restriction needs we had. I owe such a great and delicious event to team Jody and Ashton - so thankful to them for saving this event! When it comes to Fried Out LA, let's start with, FOOD WAS AMAZING! Oh, man, so tasty! Our menu consisted of Smash Burger, Chicken Truffle Honey Sandwich, Vegan Smash, Maple Bacon Sweet Potato Fries, and Avocado Fries - as the event organizer, I tried it all for QA purposes (and because I was extra hungry lol) and let me tell you, it was all soooooo good! You will be beyond satisfied with this selection. In addition to the amazing food, the staff was friendly, helpful, and on top of their service. They helped balance keeping hot food coming out and making sure the line did not get long for our group of 125 people. I am so happy we got to work with and experience the deliciousness of Fried Out LA! I will use Roaming Hunger again for sure!

The food truck ended up being unable to service us due to a family emergency, which is understandable. However, we were not notified until three days before our party. The Roaming Hunger team was relatively apologetic but had limited options to help us because it wasn't their fault. They said they could get another food truck lined up but it was literally twice as much as our originally booked food truck. We were left in a bind and almost did not have food for the 60 people coming to the event.

We've been through Frazier Park many times on the way to hikes, but I guess I had never ventured up any side roads to the actual 'downtown'. Upon entering, you think the place is small, but it keeps extending into a sizable dining room and there appears to be a back room that you can use for events. The staff was pleasant, the place was clean and organized, but there was almost zero ambience with only the slightest hint of a radio playing in the kitchen, but my friend said they closed at four on Sundays, so maybe it was the end of the day when we were there, but it was literally dead quiet. I could tell from the picture on the menu that they didn't make their own taco shells and were the pre-formed kind. All the food was hot and freshly made, and plated decently, but every bit of it was fairly bland and flavorless; definitely not traditional Mexican food.
