They were parked at a brewery so I would've understood if they opened later, it's just always such a bummer when I'm looking for some new lunch spots. The owners of the truck (I'm guessing they owned it at least), a lovely woman taking orders & a gentleman making the food. They were both SO nice, and let me tell you, a smile goes a long way people. They both genuinely looked so happy to be there, which really just brightened my day. This was by far the cleanest food truck I've ever seen. No I didn't actually jump on up there, but from what I could see, it was spotless. Sparkling even. Falafel is such a difficult dish to make right, I often find myself extremely disappointed. I took a chance and I'm SO happy I did! They were super crispy on the outside but light and airy on the inside. Amazing flavor. I also loved the shape!! Like cutie little chickpea donuts Keep in mind this is a Syrian inspired truck, so Middle Eastern flavors, not Mediterranean. I say that because I'm so used to seeing Greek joints cook up falafel. This was different and I really really enjoyed it. Everything from the sides to the sauces were so delicious. Spot on. Can't wait to be back!

There are no fancy contracts, no drama, and no surprises--just a handshake, a date, and a headcount. I tell Wayne when we're eating and how many mouths we need to feed, and he shows up on time, fully prepared, and ready to deliver. That kind of reliability is rare, and it means everything when you're feeding a large group. The food is consistently excellent, the service is smooth, and the whole operation reflects pride, experience, and family values. You can tell this is a family-owned business that genuinely cares about doing things right. When you find people you can trust completely, you stick with them--and that's exactly why we'll continue to use It's in the Sauce for future reunions. Highly recommended without hesitation.

We probably wouldn't have dropped by it if someone hadn't told us about it. The staff was kind, friendly, and gave suggestions when we asked questions about the various meat options. The cash register is right straight in as you walk in. There are communal benches outside and a few high top tables inside, but the restaurant seemed to get a lot of pick up orders. Food came out within 5 minutes on a Saturday at lunch, which I was weary about since it's BBQ - but everything ended up still being hot and juicy. We ended up going with the 3-meat plate for about $30 total. It was enough for 2 people (or 1 really hungry person!). We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, and hot links which came with garlic bread and two sides of our choice - the star of the show was for sure the burnt ends, which were juicy and deeply flavorful. The brisket was moist, which I feel like is hard to find, but I do wish it had more flavor. The hot links were also good but didn't have much nuance either. Next time, we'll definitely save room to try some dessert, which was only $5! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!

I have used this company three times now and that is it. Third time was not a charm. RH is good at the beginning when hooking a customer who wants to hire a food truck. However, after they have your money for the food truck, it's like pulling teeth to speak to anyone at RH. Correspondence is all through emails. As many of you know, email correspondence can go on for far longer than necessary and it is a hands off approach to what should be a very customer service based business. Roaming Hunger does have a roster of decent food truck vendors. And I actually had good experiences with the three food trucks who worked my events. However, Roaming Hunger as the middle man--leaves the customer roaming-around-in-their-heads, wondering if they're actually going to get what they paid for? I will not recommend Roaming Hunger to anyone.

The day before my event, I realized I had not heard from either Roaming Hunger or the vendor (FoodMadness). I reached out to my assigned contact and received an out-of-office message. The alternate contact listed was also out of office. I called the number in the email and was connected with a manager, Cesar Rodarte, who informed me that my original contact was no longer with the company and that he would "look into it." A short time later, Cesar called back and told me the vendor's truck was out of commission and they would need to find me another truck. This was at 3:00 PM the day before my party. The truck I had originally booked offered a wide variety of food. Now, under extreme pressure, I was given only taco trucks to choose from--at the same price. With no real alternatives, I selected a taco truck. I was assured the truck would arrive at 4:15 PM for my 5:00 PM party. At 4:30, no one had arrived. After multiple calls and texts, Cesar discovered the vendor had been given the wrong address. The truck finally arrived at 5:00 PM--ran out of gas halfway up my driveway--and stopped in front of my home. The driver had a dog on her lap and was smoking. She got out, pulled a gas can from her vehicle, and began filling it in my driveway. At that point, I felt this was completely unsanitary and unsafe. I contacted Cesar, who asked the vendor to leave. While he was apologetic and promised a full refund, my party had already started and I had no food for my guests. I asked how Roaming Hunger intended to make this right. I was told to submit receipts for the food I had to urgently order and that I would be reimbursed. I did exactly that. Cesar told me he would call me the following Monday at noon to discuss next steps. I did not hear from anyone until days later. Then I received an email stating that while they would issue a refund for the booking, they would not reimburse me for the emergency food I had to purchase--despite previously telling me they would. I was offered a discount on a "future booking," which is something I would never risk after this experience. I requested to speak with the manager who made this decision so I could explain the full scope of what happened. I was told I would receive a call Thursday, then Friday, then "definitely Monday." It is now Tuesday, and no one has contacted me. This company left me without food at my own party, caused enormous stress, failed to communicate, failed to follow through on their promises, and then went silent. I do not recommend trusting Roaming Hunger with an important event. The risk is simply not worth it.
