Ambiance of the place with clean tables with cute flower settings to keep it looking fresh. They have a pumping sink to wash your hands or they offer hand sanitizer at the truck when you're ordering your food. They take all major credit cards and zelle or cash! My husband has the Super Burrito de Carne Asada and devoured it within 6 minutes he's Mexican so he would know what tastes good! The fresh salsa was perfectly seasoned and medium spicy! Yummy! Don't be fooled into thinking this too! We waited 40 mins for tiny pupusas (and they got our order wrong). The food itself was fine, but not at all worth the wait, and *nothing* like the heavenly food that Tita's usually provides. Two thumbs way down, next time if Tita's is closed we are going to get back on the road to head up to that Mexican place in the plaza at the Paso Robles exit.

We arrived to find half a dozen people already standing outside the truck, with a guy outside taking phone orders. He was quite busy taking those orders, so don't be surprised if you call in and can't get through; just plan on calling far enough ahead to avoid the lunch rush. In fact, calling ahead seems to be the ideal game plan. Not that the wait for long, but standing outside certainly makes it feel longer than it is. After seeing their drool-worthy Instagram photo of the Pambazo, I was sold. What is a pambazo? Well, think a torta but way messier. It's filled with potatoes and chorizo, and finished off with some of the typical torta toppings. Then (here's the kicker!) it's drenched in a red pepper sauce. Grab a handful of napkins with this sandwich; you're going to need them. I was greeted by the friendly hostess at the order window and the menu was nearby to see the extreme variety of meats that you normally don't see at restaurants in the bay! If you haven't tried before, order the cabeza, tripa and lengua tacos! I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Full of flavor and beef that just melts in your mouth. I'd drive back a hundred plus miles just to have these again. The papusas are worth a try if you haven't tried before. They're a solid choice and I'd go with the pork and beans if you're a first timer. It's a bit hot out in Buttonwillow during the summer but they do have a bit of shade and few tables as you enjoy your authentic tacos!
