I personally DO NOT understand why this place has such low reviews! It is my absolute favorite taco spot in Lancaster and it beats Mi ranchito by like 5 points ! The Al pastor tacos with pineapple are TOP TIER! I get like 5-6 every time I order and I NEVER regret it ! So much flavor and the sweetness from the pineapple is my favorite part of the whole meal! I make it a tradition every time I go I must get rice ! The rice is so fluffy and taste DEVINE ! I know this place has good rice if my sister like it and my sister has been a die hard mexican rice advocate since she tried Mi ranchito rice and that has been her favorite for years but I let her try this one and she says it's better ! I tried the Horchata and it was good I have no complaints. I normally order through door dash and have been a couple times in person but I definitely would say going in person is way better because you get to ask for everything. When I order on door dash the service lacks and they don't read the notes that I leave to please put more salsa in the bag for the tacos. I was initially prepared to leave a lower rated review, but their customer service turned that around. While we feel their taco quality has definitely gone down since moving from the food truck to the restaurant, we have discovered that their breakfast burritos are delicious! We have come a few times to get them. The wait is usually somewhat long, but today it was extra long. We finally got up to the window only to be told they were only accepting cash because their server went down. We didn't have any cash and were given the choice to wait 5-10 more mins to see if it started working. After about 10 mins, they came back to the window and while it still wasn't working, they gave us our breakfast burritos anyway. I don't ever expect free food, but I do think this was the most appropriate customer service move since we were not notified until we got to the window, and had easily waited a total of probably 30 mins or so in line at that point. The server is out of their control, but I might recommend having some kind of manual back up plan in the future. Otherwise, thank you very much for still giving us the burritos! I absolutely adore this place ! My fav go to taco spot in lancaster. I've tried every item on the menu and i gotta say although everything is delicious the carne asada fries are my favorite but the burrito is my second choice. The meats are cooked perfectly and the taste is divine. The tacos are definitely amazing, i mean it is called Tacos El Superior for a reason :) The workers are super friendly, theres always great energy when i go drive thru and dine in ! The service is great, food is served fast y todo esta hecho con amor y calidad The aguas are amazing ! The horchata is great but i gotta say, the piña is # 1 Not mention that its made fresh ! The pastor meat is definitely my favorite. If you like spicy the way i do, i highly recommend the red salsa its BOMB. the rice and beans alone are delicious just as a side. I love coming here, never a bad experience. Everything is nice, hot, and fresh. The churros are a great way to end a meal, perfect dessert. Their piña superior always hits any day, hot or cold. I've been coming to Tacos El Superior for 4 years now. The food is always made fresh. I personally think the Horchata Cold brew is delicious. It's a great blend of horchata & coffee. It is on the sweeter side. Initially sweet horchata flavor followed by a strong coffee flavor. After trying all the Birria superior & tacos superior locations, the one in Tehachapi is still my favorite personally. I think the staff there is just always kind & provides excellent service every time I dine there. I miss the Taco truck & look forward to it coming back. Over the years they have changed the menu. But some locations will still make you a mulitas. If you're looking for a good taco spot. They definitely got you. NOTE: if you are eating to go or drive through check your bag to make sure you have everything. Especially if you have a decent size order ($50-$125). I've had missing item's several times at the Lancaster location. When you catch it, they are pretty good about fixing it. But like my self when you live 45-50 minutes away. Going back for a couple missing items just isn't worth it sometimes. (Happy wife happy life ) read more

First things first, as soon as you walk in it smells so delicious. When I first came here I tried the tacos which are very delicious. The asada was so amazing and has been my top choice for all the times I come here. When I decided to explore my options I tried the burrito which is very good especially when you add sour cream to it. My experience at Taco el Superior has been amazing. With the great customer service through drive-through and inside and the amazing food. I would 100% recommend eating here. I always bring my family to eat here and it's by far my favorite. My experience here has been amazing every time I've come. Although it does get really busy because the food is so amazing they are always able to get my food out fast. I would also recommend trying the Horchata because at some places it isn't that good and I was very skeptical about trying it but it was amazing. The fresa de leche was also amazing as well. They also have amazing deals, I was able to get a free pina superior, which is in the photo, it was amazing. You should definitely come down here and eat you won't be let disappointed. read more

Wow, wow, wow! Let me start off by saying the food here is definitely worth coming for , I've seen countless of Tacos El Superior post on Instagram that I finally went out of my way to come Visit . I'm from Ukiah ,ca which is about 389 mi north. Our experience here was amazing from ordering to leaving we were treated really good , my father and I gave the staff their due compliments on service and food quality and they were really nice , the manager was really sweet and went ahead and gave us a complimentary certificate towards our next visit . The place was clean the music was perfect . Bathrooms were also very clean . Thanks again everyone at Tacos El Superior for everything , I even got a free burrito for the road on the house . If you ever find yourself in so cal make sure to visit one of their 4 locations I believe is what they have , either way go make sure you give this place a try you will not be disappointed and the fact the food is so affordable makes it easier on family's that want to eat out but are low on funds read more

I am writing this review based on service today. My family has been here before and so I wanted to try it. 1.) The cashier seemed to take the orders really slow and more interested in other workers conversations than continuing the order. 2.) We had to repeat our order 3 times and even then the cashier Merlín kept getting it wrong and distracted. 3.) We came in party of 7 and only got 2 red sauces and 2 green sauces total with 3 bags of lemon (2 slices of lemon each bag) We had requested more sauces since each person ordered a plate and the manager that gave us our order argued that they had already given us sauces and we will be charged for more. 4.) It seemed as though someone was messing with the thermostat because it would get really warm in there and then freezing cold! Food is delicious. But if you want better service I would recommend to make the extra drive to the Tacos El Superior in Palmdale. read more

I've been coming here since they were a taco truck , I'm in love with their carnitas tacos . So delicious. From the tortilla to the meet to the salsa. Perfection! Yesterday I came in for a burrito, I wanted something easy to eat in the car since I had to drive to work, mind you, I never really order burritos because I do not like them. However this was the BEST burrito I had in my life! I really enjoyed it. I had the carne asada burrito with everything in it. I also ordered a large lemonade with chia seeds and it was amazing. I love coming here because the food never disappoints and the customer service is always top tier. There's an associate named Angel that is always really nice and provides excellent service. First off I want to start off saying customer service has been great ever since I have gone . The food In general is really good , has great taste and is always warm . Normally I always order drive thru and does take a while but I've put up with that because I really enjoy the food. My usual is always burrito combo (al pastor ) I love it but I really wished they served less rice and more meat . Sometimes the burritos I get are full of rice and a bit of meat and hoping they really change that I continue going to one day seeing more meat . The beans are delicious and take me back to my childhood. The horchata is delicious and on point . Salsas omg they are bomb !!! Manuel and Nathan were super helpful. We loved our tacos and the Horchata. This is a really quiet location, very clean and they take care of everything. The food is awesome portions for the price are good. Above all 10 out of 10 would recommend to anybody if you're looking for some delicious Mexican food. The rice is authentically cooked. I love the chicken tacos because there's never any fat on their chicken which is a huge turn off for me if I bite into a piece of fat on chicken I'll stop eating but they always chop it super small and there's never any fatty pieces which I love. I must say that I tried the location on K and 10th when it first opened and it left me going back to the Taco Truck in Palmdale. I had spoke to the manager of the truck and he said the Lancaster location had changed and the quality is the same as the truck. Decided to give it another try and I am glad I did. The food was hot and the quality of the ingredients was spot on. While waiting for my order I was asked if I would be willing to try new grilled onions they are testing. If you've had grilled onions on your burgers you will love it on their tacos. They also have chorizo tacos back, it's not on the menu board so just ask. I come here pretty often because the asada is always, always fire. I like coming in taco Tuesday, the tacos are cheaper, and I've never had a problem with freshness. They're always tasty every time. The last time we stopped my mom tried a pastor burrito with Pina and it was a hit! So definitely try the Pina in your pastor items if you can. The Pina superior was absolutely amazing and I don't know if you can get one anywhere else so definitely a necessity when stopping by The employees are always helpful and friendly, welcoming me whenever I come inside. After seeing the drive through jam packed for weeks I decided to see if the hype was real. Line was in and out long but flowing fairly quickly. You can smell the asada from 6 cars away. I ordered the asada burrito, tacos de al pastor, carnitas and horchata! As soon as I got my order I pulled over to east since I was dying to try the red salsa everyone was taking about. The burrito was very flavorful and the asada had the perfect seasoning. Rice was also real Mexican rice which went well with the red salsa! I visited this restaurant last night on my way home from being with my hubby all day at the hospital. We are not from around this area and I saw it on TikTok so I decided to try. Let me tell you my only complaint was that I didn't order more! I had a taco de asada and mulita de asada combo. The green salsa was delicious.. I don't like spicy so it was perfect! The tacos were just like the best street tacos you can get. The red sauce is quite good with a smoky flavor. They warn you to not use too much as it is hot but I loved it. One of my concerns was the very limited menu. They could add some sides like beans, rice, and French fries which they obviously have. They have French fries with meat for over $10 something so you wouldn't add it as a side. Also, because they are soooo good the drive thru line up is long - stretching into the street. This string of cars block access to the parking and it's almost impossible to get out so I recommend using the drive thru. It moves fast. read more
