    Supposedly queda birria tacos
    Liliana H.

Ordered online. Ordered 3 queso birria tacos for my son. We got regular crunchy tacos with the meat inside. They were not dipped and fried in the birria sauce. Went in to ask if they could fix it and all they did was refried them in oil. Horrible

This has become my go-to spot for Mexican food. Orders that never fail me: - Street tacos ($2.59 ea): good standard sized taco - Tacos Dorados de Birria($8.99 for 3): so flavorful, just get it. - Asada Nachos ($11.49): this is the perfect sharing item on the menu, I'd say it's shareable amongst 2-3 people. I love these nachos over other spots because it is jam packed with flavor and they do not skimp on toppings (especially onions and cilantro). - Agua de Pina: just size up and share since it's only a dollar difference between a medium and large! Service can be hit or miss, but I will always come back because the food just speaks for itself.

Finally got to try this new Tacos El Goloso location. Delicious food, fresh and flavorful. The Carne Asada is excellent, the al pastor is on the sweet side. I love the consome. Service is excellent, fast, and efficient. The inside dining is small but clean. Most customers order takeout.

Grand opening day with a live band!

Sooo this place opened a couple of days ago and it's amazing! FINALLY we have authentic Mexican food after Chile Verde no longer is here! They ended up keeping some of their past workers like the kick ass Josh and others!!! Their grand opening was dope because they had a live band playing Mexican music literally all damn day and night to promote their company!!!! I had their Tacos Dorados De Birria meal that came with fresh chips on the side and salsa. I loved it! If you've been to the El Golosos in LBC and Torrance, then you will know how great their food is. The parking is free and cool because it's in a huge strip mall next to an Albertsons, GameStop, Starbucks, etc. Angie and Mona stand out as well with their kick ass customer service and they let me as well as others know what to get if we have a brain fart of confusion of what we are craving. Phenomenal customer service, clean place and they are all so well organized! Everyone here works hard and it shows in how well this place is run! Definitely coming back more and more to try everything else on their menu! Great job! 5 stars because I'm not one of those Yelpers who will write a positive review with NO negative, but NOT give a flawless 5!!!

    Potato tacos dorado

I was happy to hear when this place opened because I was driving further to the Harbor City location. The cashier was very pleasant and greeted me as I walked in. The place was clean and everyone working appeared busy even though no other customers were present. I ordered my usual, potato tacos dorado. They were fried nice and crunchy. Toppings were fresh and it comes with the birria sauce. I won't say the tacos are very seasoned or birria sauce the most flavorful. But, I can enjoy this item without fail since I am a pescatarian. Horchata is good but on the (very) sweet side. The cashier suggested adding a bit of water when I got home since I chose to keep the drink. I'll be back...

great birria tacos! i've been to tacos el goloso every time i miss mexico and their tacos dorados de birria always makes me feel better. can't say much about the interior since i always take out but they did have a lot of seating when i picked up my food. i honestly haven't tried their other menus so i can't say if their other menus are great but from their birria tacos, i can say that the tacos are juicy, the ratio of cheese and meat is good, and their complimentary chips are great as well~

Went to Carson location and I was highly disappointed. I ordered the carne asada fries. Before I left I opened my food and was extremely shocked by the food they gave me to make matters worse as I was looking at my food the entire cooking staffed watched me and make me even more uncomfortable and no one should ever be treated like this. This established need zero stars and even thats to nice in my opinion. I will not be going back.

Three tacos dorados de birria combo, delicious five star for me

Great service, and the food is a 10 out of 10.the consome is amazing. Coming back no doubt, beats teddys red tacos. Someone argue with me. Haha.

I see nopales on the menu! Location is easy to find in the Albertson's & Home Depot shopping center near Sepulveda & Dolores. Parking is abundant in a private lot, street parking is also available. Located across from the star.bucks store. Staff is busy working hard, professional. Parking is abundant in a private lot. There is also street parking along Sepulveda. Interior has plenty of tables for small groups & a counter. Exterior also has tables available. No customer WC & thus the reason I cannot give this place 5 stars.

Was hungry after the game and was craving some tacos.. My daughter told me about the new spot in Carson so decided to try it out. The service was great and my daughter did the yelp reviews for a free drink. She got the horchata and she said was very good. They had indoor and outdoor seating but we got ours to go. Not many people dining in but had quite a few to go orders while i was there. A very chill spot for some good food. We had the Birria tacos, carne asada street tacos and the mulitas pastor.. Delicious will definitely come back to try more stuff off of their menu.

    A screw in my food
    Covered In S.

I ordered from the spot all the time and today will be my last time. I actually had a screw inside my chip bag very disappointing. I had to contact DoorDash and had to talk to three separate people about the situation. This should never happen. I will never order food here again.

The Blueberry Yogurt one really tasted like eating a cup of blueberry yogurt. The dollop of yogurt was nice and the blueberries were plump and fresh. The Hojicha one also had great flavor. I liked the nutiness of it. The cereal, dalgona, and red bean also added good flavors and textures. I like how the flavorings were embedded in layers throughout the bingsoo. The ice itself was okay though. It could've been softer and smoother, but still good nonetheless. The flavors and toppings really carried the bingsoos. I'd recommend both flavors. The cafe interior is super cute too. Love the design. I saw some people with laptops, so this could be a potential work/study spot? There's also lots of free parking underground.

The first time I tried this place, it was kinda busy, very stuffy inside, unsure if the AC works or not. Service was quick. Coffee was not anything memorable. I just remember whatever I had ordered tasted exactly the same as the chrome studio signature latte. It was the muscovado latte. Which.... I did not like. This second time was also very stuffy inside. Like, I am really unsure if they pay for AC inside or not. This second time that I had visited was more recent where I had ordered the Hawaiian Paradise tea with golden honey boba. I actually really did enjoy this refresher iced tea. It was not half bad and included a slice of orange inside. The honey boba was very soft and easy to chew. I enjoyed how refreshing it was as it was what I was craving. I also had ordered a banana pudding latte that was horrid. Foam was amazing. The actual coffee was so bad. Like, actually. I threw it away. I did not bother to even ask for a remake. It tasted so burnt. Like the most burnt coffee bean taste ever. I do not know what happened there, but it was a very big disappointment. Ordered 2 churros, they were good. Nothing crazy, just something that helped curve the horrible taste from the burnt coffee. You don't interact with the workers, so service I can not comment on. They have a restroom. Parking is in the plaza in front, which is shared with a few other businesses, the major one being Ralph's. You can order on a large screen and tap to pay on it as well. Sad to say, but I really do not see myself coming back as Torrance has plenty of other coffee shops to go to instead.

Self-proclaimed as "CA's first Thai gelato", Moom Maam began as a pop-up in the Wat Thai Food Court in North Hollywood in 2021. Owner Saran "Darwin" Wai translated his molecular biology degree into the science of ice cream, earning features in Eater LA and the Los Angeles Times. Nowadays, Moom Maam operates a brick-and-mortar stall out of the Del Amo Fashion Center, but you can still catch them every Sunday at Smorgasburg LA. In brief, Smorgasburg is a Sunday-only, open-air food market at Alameda Produce Market in Downtown LA. Parking in the ROW's dedicated parking garage is quick and easy, with 2 hours complimentary. Bathrooms are located out of the market, a short walk down the graffiti art side street. A questionably clean water bottle filling station is available at the entrance. Smorgasburg is pay-as-you-go, and the tenured vendors serve upscale street food with a Pan-Asian or Pan-Latin American bent. My family and I visited Smorgasburg in the early afternoon for lunch, and we were drawn to the desserts. We opted for a Special Gelato Bowl, featuring a brittle coconut waffle wafer and coconut sticky rice. After trying several flavors, we decided on the true-to-taste Thai Tea and the masa-forward Blue Corn w/ Goat Milk Caramel. Other flavors we tried included the Strawberry Balsamic (a refreshing sorbet with a La Croix-esque hint of balsamic), the Soba & Tsuyu Caramel (strongly wheat-flavored), and the Durian Mezcal Drift (pleasantly toned-down in pungency). Broadly, the gelato was a bit melty, becoming runny even before taking a bite. The sticky rice provided an addictive Q texture, but it was hidden away beneath the scoops. The line ebbed and flowed, but we caught the stall at a good time. Our ice cream costed $17, and the portion felt modest at best. Overall, we agreed that Moom Maam offered fun flavors and a unique serving style, but the overall experience wouldn't be worth a return visit.

One thing was immediately clear: everyone was ordering the snowstorm. Most people seemed to go with either the matcha or the original, though they also had other flavors like sesame. Naturally we followed the crowd and ordered the matcha. It's matcha soft serve topped with chestnuts, and it turned out to be a great little pre-dinner snack -- creamy, earthy, and not overly sweet. What surprised me most was that they carry different types of chestnuts. I preferred the smaller ones, which were softer, more moist, and sweeter. The larger ones were firmer, but you can buy them already peeled, which honestly feels like a luxury if you've ever battled chestnut shells before. It's a quirky specialty shop, but a fun one to browse. And judging by the number of snowstorms coming out of the kitchen, that's clearly the move here.
