Al pastor and asada tacos
Yang C.

Really legit street taco place with tons of food. Better than any other places I have been.

About a 10 minute walk from the 22nd st cal train stop in a very industrial, unassuming neighborhood. Ordered the al pastor and pollo (pork and chicken) tacos which was delicious and very flavorful. We should have gotten more! Each order comes with a side of chips and salsa which was a great touch.

I've been eating here for years and I'm always happy with all there food on the menu. My favorite is tacos el pastor, the owner and workers are very friendly. Everything on the menu is flavorful, dang I want some tacos.

Fast and efficient. Loved the taste of the tacos and was quick and fast. Best bang for your buck. Loved the extra chips and salsa on the side too.

Tacos El Flaco, this place is awesome and one of the many hidden gems of food trucks in San Francisco. The meat is tender and juicy, in portion control a spot on! It looks like they got at 100% Health score but in 2016, also I wish they regularly carried chips, they do have Doritos and lays but that doesn't count. Also they are cash only! But somehow they get a 4 stars from me due to the amazing flavor of their burritos!

Taco Al Pastor with side sauces and chips. $3

Had been meaning to swing by this truck as I work close by on Illinois St. What a GREAT decision that was. These tacos are hefty, one was all I needed, and for $3 in SF?!?! Come on. Al pastor with the usual and of course green sauce to go with. The meat was cut up in larger bites and it wasn't full of fatty pieces. Way to go Tacos El Flaco, I'll be back for more. And parking is easy here.

Solid tacos, nothing extra on them, just meat and tortilla. Tried their super burrito, pass. Takes cash, venmo, zelle

I am divorced), I was starving. I drove around San Francisco for awhile but every time I passed a restaurant I break down crying because it reminds me of my first date with my now ex wife. However, when I arrived at Aunty Vickys my entire mood changed. I was practically jumping for joy whilst waiting for my food. When I finally got my pulled pork combo I ate it an said verbally "Oh my golly this is good" before spinning on my head, just kidding I did not spin on my head, I dont know how haha! Trust me though, if I did I would have my man. But oh man the pork like oh my just oh yeah it was oh yeah so good man it was just so good. Im sorry I just loved it so much. Some people call me too positive but Vicky was even more positive. She told me not to think about my ex wife anymore because I have the future ahead of me, then I told her about my finances, and after assuring her I could still pay she walked away. The man in front of me ordered the shrimp and chicken combo, and when he put it on the table for a moment before walking away a piece of chicken fell off. I picked it up and ate it and wow, just wow, so good. I literally called my Mexican friend Angel and told him about this, it was diabolical. I will return to this location and order myself a full chicken shrimp combo. Im just so ready my man.

Crazy good. Ordered…read morethe pork sliders with slaw. I'm intentionally eating slow because I'm "supposed" to share this. Insert eye-roll here because agreeing to share was literally the worst idea I've had today. People are looking at me crazy because of how I'm devouring this thing. They said something about Only Fans? What even is that?

First found out about Parklab Gardens through a Yelp Elite Event during the pandemic. After that…read moreevent, I actually came back a few times (sometimes by myself, with the hubby, and sometimes with our pup), but I didn't get to play miniature golf on any of those times. So when my out-of-town friend came to visit me recently and wanted to do a girls day together, I thought it would be so fun to book a tee time at the Stagecoach Greens for us. And yes, we both loved it! What a fun way to start our day! We got there for one of the earlier tee times and we had so much fun! This mini golf course resides inside Parklab Gardens. There's also a bar cart, the Watering Hole, and various other food carts within it. There are also cabanas you can rent for bigger groups. Perfect for parties, group events, and team building events. Also, Parklab Gardens is across from Spark Social, so lots of food trucks to try within walking distance.

If you stay under the cabanas, you're 100% guaranteed shelter from the sun and wind. Parklab is actually just a quieter version of Spark Social, which is right across the street, where most of the food trucks are located. There is mini golf available at Parklab but the customer service was very lacking. Honestly they should really do a better job with hiring young people -- they act like they couldn't care less about you participating or not... UHH HELLO, you want more people so that you actually have a job... We checked out a variety of things and I wrote individual reviews for each place we tried.

So be careful what you order. Chicken Shawarma Wrap: Weird thing happened, the guy asked if I wanted fries in my wrap, even though it wasn't listed on the menu and I had no idea it was an option. So I said yes and then when I got my wrap there were no fries in it. Like why even bother getting my hopes up if you're just going to disappoint me. The wrap itself was kinda meh too. I was excited to see the chicken spit spinning, knowing it was fresh. But the chicken I actually got didn't taste crispy like it was freshly sliced. It was actually a big soggy. Falafel (side): These were actually pretty nice. Very crispy exterior. Firm and grainy interior. Packed with protein. Beef Shawarma Plate: Liked this more than the wrap. The beef was actual steak-like instead of the weird gyro meatloaf I was expecting. Fluffy rice and well spiced. Zaalouk: My first side dish choice with the shawarma plate. It was smokey eggplant, with some really great flavor. Paired perfectly with the pita. Taktouka: My second side dish. This was tomato-y and full of diced bell peppers. Was salsa-like texture, so a little awkward with the pita. But still great flavor.

The only thing I couldn't wait to buy was the Moroccan Lentil Soup. Why lentils you ask? Because they're rich in fiber and so much protein, slows digestion and maintains blood sugar. I couldn't stop having lentils if I have a choice. I'll be more than willing to swing by for a different vegan side dish.

Both sliders were delicious, although I think I liked the lamb slider a little bit better thanks to the brioche bun that it came with. The chicken one came with an Asian steamed bun, and the texture was meh. I thought it was going to be a lot more fluffy. I liked the toppings on the chicken one better, though. You don't get much in terms of toppings with the lamb slider. The tater tots here are very hefty! Almost like a fried potato ball with a cheese coating. Didn't like them at first but they definitely grew on me. Service here was a bit slow but the quality of the food made up for it. All in all, solid place.

I would definitely get them again and they were one of my favorite things to eat at the festival. The tator tots were passable but okay. For the price I would not get them again. They are fairly large for tator tots, but it was more like mashed potato breaded and fried. The flavor was good but the texture was weird to me. All the crunch sides were perfect, but then your left with okay mashed potato. I would skip the chilli next time. It added to the mushiness/sogginess of the dish but did not add a lot of flavor. Five stars for the sliders and three stars for the tots.
