I have a hard time finding street Mexican authentic tacos here in Katy Tx. Well I hesitated in…read morewriting this review because of the amount of foot traffic this will bring lol. But this taco stand is authentic as they come of course every city in Mexico makes there tacos different. Toluca stand is by far the best we've had here in Katy affordable delicious full of flavors the simplicity of the tacos makes them so more delicious and enjoyable. With this being said let's start. 1. Fajita tacos are simple but cooked to perfection 2. Campechano is a whole other beast ! Campechano: Toss sliced beef fajitas right into the pan with crumbling Toluca chorizo. The rich paprika, garlic, and herbal oils from the sausage melt down and coat the fajita meat, eliminating any need for boring pre-made seasoning packs. Amazing! You can have this option in tacos or their burritos... 3. Barbacoa is sooo moist tender not dry season perfectly 3. Hamburger layered of explosion of flavors your kids will love it big portion. This place has lunch tables under a small gazebo it's a good place to have a quick dinner or lunch with aguas frescas horchata Jamaica tamarindo agua de melon (cantaloupe) super refreshing. It's a very family welcoming taco stand. You order first at the first window pay at the second window and order your beverages with the cashier.

We visited Tacos Frontera and were not disappointed (actually four times now)!! My San Diego born…read moreand bred husband said it was old school SoCa flavor all the way down to the beans & weenies (reminded him of his Mexican grandma). Shared a fish taco - amazing... The queso birria tacos and consomme were phenomenal (my personal favorite) and hubby had the carne asada burrito - not fajita, actual carne asada and a muleta. It was all fantastic. We shared a cup of elote and the chicharrones were also fantastic. Definitely TJ style and reminded us of Tacos del Gordo.. those from San Diego will know what I mean!! Out of the table salsas, the jalapeño was perfection! ALSO.. the tortillas are FIRE. Tastes like fresh Old Town tortillas. We definitely over ordered, but totally worth it, their portions aren't skimpy. This will be our go-to taco shop for sure. Highly recommended!! Go here, you will NOT be disappointed!!

After a few seconds, I turned around and saw even more people lined up after us. Line was never ending. So when you come, do expect some wait time due to the amount of orders. I only got one taco because I wasn't too hungry and I enjoyed it. They didn't skimp on the filling either. It was flavorful and had a kick to it-- right amount of spice for me. My friends all got something different and they all liked what they ordered. I'll definitely come back to try the other tacos and quesadillas.

Since it was my first time here, I ended up ordering 1 chorizo and 1 asada taco, churros, limon aguas, and my friend got the asada taco as well and a hortchata! Since it was super busy (especially on saturday night) it was about a 30 minute wait foe our food but it was well worth it! They hand out free chicharrones and they were super crunchy and a nice snack while we waited for our food. The limon aguas was super refreshing especially in the summer heat and the horchata was really good! We sat at the counter top that overlooks the kitchen. I love that the open kitchen concept so you can see them making your food right in front of you! Everything smelled so good so I was excited for my food. I love that they give radishes, cucumbers, and plenty of limes on the side. I definitely love all of the toppings and the more the better! I tried all of the salsas and the salsa de chile de arbol was by far my favorite! super spicy but had so much flavor. The chorizo was good but a little dry for my liking. I did just want to try it so I can try more than one flavor but I think I would get it again as a breakfast taco with egg instead. The asada was my favorite of the two so much flavor and plenty of meat! I was content with these 2 tacos but I could have definitely eaten more if we didn't order churros as well! The churros came with classic condensed milk and dulce de leche which is just carmelized condensed milk. The churros were crunchy and warm on the outside and had a chewy texture like mochi on the inside! Super yummy and not too sweet! I liked both sauces and would definitely get this again. Overall, I had a great experience and I will be craving the tacos until the next time I can come back! I can't wait to try a lot of their other menu items as well. Definitely recommend!

I have been a customer of the Taco Fuego food truck in Katy for over a year and have always enjoyed…read morethe food and service. Unfortunately, my experience yesterday was so unacceptable that I will never return. When placing my order, the employee taking my order appeared intoxicated. His eyes were drooping and closing, he repeatedly paused, mumbled, and seemed to struggle entering my order. Although this was concerning, I chose to overlook it and waited patiently. After about 10 minutes, I simply returned to ask whether my order had been placed and if it was ready. I was not upset, in a hurry, or complaining. I only wanted confirmation that my order existed because the employee kept responding, "No orders, no orders," despite me showing him my receipt. Due to an apparent language barrier, I called my Hispanic husband and handed the employee my phone so he could ask the same simple question in Spanish. Instead of helping, the employee began yelling at my husband. Another employee joined in, and both started yelling while walking away with my phone. When the phone was returned, I still had no idea what had happened or whether my order was being prepared. The situation escalated for no reason. The employees began yelling at me, aggressively slammed the service windows shut, ignored me, and treated me as if I had done something wrong. I remained calm throughout the entire interaction and repeatedly stated that there was no problem--I simply wanted to know if my order had been placed. Eventually, the food was thrown together carelessly, shoved into a bag, and handed to me with obvious hostility. The food quality was terrible, and the customer service was even worse. What disappointed me most was that this entire situation was completely unnecessary. I was respectful, patient, and simply asking a basic question. The combination of an employee who appeared intoxicated, the aggressive and unprofessional behavior from both employees, and the poor quality of the food made this one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.
