They have a variety of options when it comes to their menu and add on. With that being said.... You can easily turn a $20 plate into a $35 plate if you aren't careful. Hospitality, creativity and portions size is where they get the stars. Price and worst of all flavor is where they take a hit. They made a really good Cinnamon roll, but the unseasoned burger patty, and half cooked bacon didn't complement it at all. I also had hot/honey/lemon pepper wings. Wings were seasoned pretty good but they lack any type of sauce. More of a hot sauce flavor and that was it.

The tacos are super reasonably priced, perfect size, and has a punch of flavor. The pastor has bits of pineapple that gives the not over cooked meat a hint of sweetness and was topped with cilantro and onions. For an additional kick, they include hot sauce and pickled sliced onions with chopped fresh jalapeños in separate bags. Everything complimented each other to make that 1st bite and every other bite after a flavorful experience! You have to order at least 4 of these tacos! Less than 4 just will not do and you'll regret it later hahaha The Pork and Cheese Pupusa is also a hit along with the sauce and cabbage salad! FYI, they don't sell drinks there but they are in front of a Chevron so after you put in your order and have to wait, head inside to buy a drink. When I'm in Texas, I finally have a go to truck!

I walked around a bit first. But this truck was most appealing menu wise. Not sure why the reviews are so terrible, give this place a try! Food- was yummy. I got the jerk wings 8 piece, just to keep it simple, and it was very yummy. Definitely a kick of heat. Tasted authentic with seasoning. Came out hot, nice and saucy. Service- the chef was kind enough to offer me a sample of the chicken jerk he uses for the jerk chicken sandwiches while I waited. Plus his sauce, tore that sample up. He shared with me he is working on getting the sauce bottled and put into HEB or other stores, love that for him. He also informed how he was from NYC and came here to start this business. He has Carribbean folks in his family, so he got the authentic flavor down. Will definitely be back, they have a loyalty card you can get too. Wishing this black owned business well!
