Before arriving, we called the establishment which is located at Mason and 99 and inquired about the possibility of ordering a cup of corn with only nacho cheese. A representative named Herman informed us that it was possible. Upon arrival, we placed the order, but the staff informed us that it was not possible to make that specific request. We had previously communicated our request over the phone, and they had assured us that they would accommodate it. If they had not, we would not have come to the establishment. The staff eventually allowed us to order the cup of corn with nacho cheese. During the payment process, they insisted on accepting cash, the staff claimed that the owner only wants cash payment , which is a rather unreasonable request. Upon returning home, we poured the cup of corn into a bowl and discovered that there was no nacho cheese on the cup. Instead, there was only watery cheese, essentially from the corn itself, which tasted unpleasant. We immediately called back to express our dissatisfaction, stating that there was no cheese on the cup and that Herman had assured us that the order could be made. However, the staff informed us that the order had already been fulfilled. If the staff had fulfilled the order, why did they make such a poor job of it? It would have been better to not order the item in the first place if Herman had not been willing to make the order correctly. We had experienced a similar situation with the same staff member previously, where we attempted to pay with a credit card and were frustrated when they insisted on accepting cash. So glad I found this place near my home! They're so good. Meat is not bland and fairly priced. The cooks don't really understand requests too well. I ask no onions they give me onions anyway. I don't mind paying taxes. But what I don't like it's the way her response is each time. My first time she charged me extra and didn't say sorry. Just opened her palm and said ok. The second time my sister went and over charged her again. She politely told her in Spanish that it was not the correct amount or maybe if she adding tax? She doesn't say anything again but pretends to look at a sheet of paper above her to see the "prices" but then looks at the money and says it's okay don't worry about it. Like what? My son told me about this taco truck and let me just say....I've found my taco spot! It's located in the parking lot of a gas station and the guy who takes the order is so energetic and kind. They have the music playing and nice the line pretty quickly - you order with him and pay at the next window. I handed the cashier cash and she sanitized her hands after taking my money.
