The street tacos are actually regular sized tacos, FYI... ave very good. I'd definitely eat here again!

BEST BREAKFAST BURRITOS OF ALL TIME! They are HUGE...can easily be shared! $7.50 each and so worth it! A giant tortilla filled with potato, egg, cheese and your choice of bacon, chorizo or sausage. They can also do no meat. Highly recommend getting two sides of the red salsa per burrito...adds a ton of flavor! Don't let the location fool you! Yes, it's in a gas station mini mart, but who cares?! Everything is made hot in front of you while you wait...NOT FAST FOOD...so you must be patient! It's one guy making it all. I'm sad we left before we had an opportunity to try some street tacos and burritos. We can't wait to go back to Sisters and visit this place!

Apparently asking for no pico will cost you a dollar more. You can not add anything or modify in anyway. Go somewhere else!

Fantastic food! Huge proportions, tastes great, and very well priced. I only wish I had discovered this place sooner!

The fact that it's in a gas station initially threw me off, but make no mistake, this place serves legitimately good Mexican food

Inexpensive take-away real Alacarte Mexican food at very reasonable prices. Indoors at the Space Age station.

It's a steep $18 but worth every penny (oh, sorry, they don't make those any more). The REUBEN SANDWICH on toasted marble rye had Swiss cheese, the perfect mound of sauerkraut and thousand island dressing (ask them to go light on the slather) along with a bag of chips and a cookie. Top it off with the beverage of your choice -beer, wine, canned soda, etc.- and you have the perfect lunch or afternoon snack. On our way out we bought a couple pounds of the Smokehouse Jerky (Original, Pepper, & Teriyaki) and two pounds of the Smokehouse bacon. Made the car on our trip home smell great!!!! Seating inside is nice and you can people watch. I like to eavesdrop on the questions they ask the people behind the counter. You learn something new every time - LOL. Tables outside too but it was a tad too hot the day we visited to sit outside, even in the shade. Small, family-run establishment owned by Oregon natives. The artisan meat cutter and smokehouse expert are both third generation in the industry. Such a cute little town too, all cowboy-like and worth an afternoon of moseying the main street to see the shops. Just make sure you keep up your strength and have lunch at Sisters Meat and Smokehouse first.

Hopping place here! We were nearly immediately treated like royalty. Genuinely surprised by the kindness here. I walked out with seasonings, bone in Kansas City cuts, and house smoked peppercorn havarti. Walked out saying to my wife, I cannot remember the last time someone was as kind as the folks working there.

After having visited the lodge and loving the views of the lake, we tried to book an event there for a family gathering in the fall. Not anything big. 15-ish people for 4 hours. No other needs from them beyond the location. Two major issues came up: 1) It took 3 MONTHS of back and forth with their event coordinator, Anne, to try to lock it in. It felt like she actively didn't want our business. Finally got a date and quote of $600 for 4 hours. After another couple of weeks of prodding her, was finally on the verge of getting the contract. I think. Except... 2) In that time, my fiancé and I thought it'd be good to just say our vows during the family gathering since we'd have folks out here anyway. Save everyone a second trip. I mentioned this to Anne and she raised the quoted price from $600 to $2500 site fee, a mandatory $1500 minimum catering charge, and requirements to work with one of their dedicated coordinators which was even more $$$ on top of that. To reiterate, absolutely nothing had changed on our needs from the original quote except now they considered it a "wedding" which they apparently price gouge on. Good thing there's no end of beautiful locations in the area for a family gathering. Note: Yelp removed this review saying it wasn't for this location. I'm guess Suttle Lake tried to lie to Yelp to take it down. It was this location (Sisters, OR). Maybe treat potential customers better in the future and you won't get poor reviews. And since this occurrence, my fiancé and I were happily married elsewhere.

Had heard good things about their food and wanted to treat myself while on a little Central Oregon vacation, and boy am I glad I did. The main lodge area is simultaneously cozy and trendy, complete with a fireplace amongst lots of wood architecture and modern furniture. It gave me Society Hotel vibes, for those familiar. I went for the "famous" (it was featured in the Eater's Guide to the World Hulu series hosted by Maya Rudolph) fish sandwich. It was quite spendy but worth it for a splurge. It was quite a bit of food and delicious, and that's coming from someone who is not the biggest fan of seafood. Kind of wish it came with some of fries or another side for the price but what can ya do. I didn't get a drink but the cocktails looked great. Recommend putting your phone away, grabbing one of the many coffee table books they have stacked up, and enjoying the fire and the peace. I went for a hike around Suttle Lake afterwards which was also great. Lots of birds on the water and saw a Bald Eagle swooping. I noticed lots of cabins, campsites, picnic areas, swimming holes, canoes/kayaks, etc. Overall looks like an awesome place to actually spend time. I'd happily come back in the warmer months to spend a weekend here.
