We came here after the place we yelped closed sooner than expected. I'm giving this place a 5 because it was clean. It is your typical taco shop when it comes to the menu. However, i want to make special mention about the staff who was helping us. He really went out of his way to help Modify our taco order to make it no salt. They were able to grill the chicken without adding salt, and even offered fresh slices of avocado to add to the garnish. Always love places who go out of their way to modify orders to fit customer's diet. We also ordered rolled tacos without cheese and it was ahhhmazing!! They also have a drive thru! !

Being from SoCal, I tend to be drawn to little while in the wall mexican food places. Although this was in a neighborhood in Oregon. I felt i was down some well worn path much closer to the border. The staff appear to be authentic, the prices were reasonable & the food was tasty. I added a liter of Coca Cola from Mexico (it uses pure cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup). which raises all kinds of questions about the states. But I digress. If your taste buds are thinking classic mexican food, then this is where your car should be driving you to. If your SO has other tastes, there are a several (3) food places on the opposite corners of this small intersection.

Good late night spot to head some tacos. It doesn't look like much but the food was good!

Extremely basic fast food, Mexican style. Very greasy refried beans not a huge fan of it.

After all that hard work, our family always ends up back at El Rodeo. It's our go-to spot and has been for years. The service is always great and the people working there are genuinely friendly and kind. It feels like a real family restaurant where they're happy you showed up. The bar is also a fantastic place to grab a drink or margarita, play a little video poker, and end up talking to half the locals in Bend. Somehow you go in for dinner and leave feeling like you attended a neighborhood reunion. The food is exactly what you want when you're craving Mexican: hot, good, and a lot of it. I have never once left there hungry or disappointed. Plates show up looking like they were designed for a lumberjack who skipped lunch. They recently remodeled the bar, which looks nice... but personally I believe Mexican restaurants should be built once in about 1987 and then left exactly the same forever. It's part of the charm. That said, the remodel won't stop me from going back regularly. Great people, great food, strong margaritas, and the kind of place that makes Bend feel like home. Five stars all day.

I ordered a Tostada with ground beef and a side of rice, the DH a Carne Asada Burrito. He got a margarita with "grand mariner" on the rim which means "gran gala". I got a top shelf with rail tequila; salt- rocks. I was surprised to receive our drinks in a plastic cups; which of course the salt does not adhere to. The tostada was so loaded and large that the corn tortilla was soggy immediately. It ended up being a plate of mush. The rice was very bland, and it had peas in it. This is not Mexican rice. The husband said his was okay, but there is a Florida chain called "Chuy's" which cannot be touched by any restaurant here in Bend. . The ticket was $78. Way too expensive for plastic cup drinks and mediocre "Mexican" food. Our server was nice and the reason for the 3 stars. Again, Bend is the destination for high priced and mediocre dining food and experience.

The calling and pickup experience was good. The super supreme burrito was definitely not super and was not enough to fill my appetite. It felt like there were ingredients missing and all I could taste was a lot of refried beans and some meat. Definitely was not super or supreme. I hope that it was a one time experience at this location. I tried the chicken fajita burrito with was quite watery and I was not expecting raw green onions in it, but overall left me craving for a better version of a burrito. Super Nachos were good, not the best that I've had but quite good for the price. Overall I'll try this location again just to see if it was just not the best day for the restaurant.

They cater to their clientele, the people of Bend. I don't blame them at all for catering to their customer's tastes. I ordered an all meat burrito, some fish tacos and a couple of carne asada tacos. Let's talk first about their tacos. The tortillas are flour tortillas. Most Mexican joints use corn tortillas. The fish tacos are made with tilapia. They are grilled, not fried. Not quite the same fish tacos that we have in Southern California. The carne asada was grilled. However, both tacos seemed to be missing flavor. Adding salsa did not help. The all meat burrito was indeed all meat. I thought I asked for carne asada, instead, I got a burrito full of shredded beef. Again, adding seasoning would've helped. I'll be super nice to them and give them 3 stars. But, if you come from an area with lots of Mexican food, you won't like this spot.

Loved that all the food is homemade including the tortillas. We ordered the carne asada and chipotle tacos along with an order of eloté. We could not have been more pleased. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and we grabbed a table under a big tree. The menu offers some great selections. I was tempted to try the chilaquiles but tacos always get me. Carmen's Famous Tortilla Soup looked really tasty as well, so it looks like I have a reason to return. Alcohol including tequila is also served along with refreshing aqua frescos. Our food came out fairly quickly and it was hot and ready to eat. Tacos were juicy and the eloté although not the best I have ever had still provided good flavor. Location is easy to find although parking was tight. Perhaps it was the time of day we came and it was a weekend. Service was quick and efficient. Ambiance was perfectly beautiful sitting amongst the trees. I would recommend should you find yourself in Bend stopping here for a little bit of Mexico!
