I was in the mood for authentic tacos. My fiancé is a burrito guy. I stopped in tonight about 6:30 and it wasn't busy, the sit down section was empty but they were doing a lot of takeout. I had a steak, chicken and pulled pork taco. They were delicious! Great flavor! A lot of filling and a freshly made corn tortilla! My fiancé loved his steak burrito, it was stuffed with deliciousness! I also ordered the cheese fries! I really enjoyed those as well. They are freshly peeled and crispy and just yummy! The young lady that took my order was very nice & pleasant. The dining area was as immaculate! The whole place was sparkling clean! Ordered from Uber at work for the first time today. This is one of the best chicken cutlets I've had in a while. I got the La Cabriella Panini and it is delicious. The chicken is not too thin and not over cooked. Sometimes a sandwich with avocado may only have 1 small piece but avocado covers the whole sandwich. Will order here again very very soon! The only thing I didn't like was you can not modify your food on Uber eats. I don't like tomatoes, but had to order that exact way. Not too bit it w deal I just took them off. Ordering online and paying with PayPal was easy and being able to add the tip at checkout was a great plus because my 125 lb. dog is always super excited for deliveries of any kind and it's not always easy to grab the food and sign a ticket. I wrote this review with great sadness. While the owner is one of the greatest people to deal with his cashier is arguably the worst. I've been going there for years and have never had an issue. Now a days though it like going on a game show and you're trying to guess what she feels like charging for the day. On Saturday a sandwich costs your $8 but on Wednesday she hits you up for 10.95. Soup one day costs $5 for a cup the next time you go in it costs $8. I understand cost of things are rising but she's been doing this for a while and today was the last straw. This place is INCREDIBLE! The service is timely, they're all very friendly, atmosphere is cozy and filled with a near overwhelming amount of tasty options. I've had a steak panini (probably best I've ever had) and Blue Dream Wrap which almost made me start crying because of how good it taste. I literally couldn't eat it without moaning after each bite. I don't know of another place like this in Waterbury or really anywhere else in CT. I have yet to try there other tantalizing options but I can promise this will be a regular spot for me. In fact I just ordered a buffalo chicken wrap so this concludes my review. Bigger, Better, Fresh & Tasty Sweet Bella's started out in a small store front on Highland Ave. across from Mount Carmel Church in the Town Plot section of Waterbury. The menu was limited due to the size of the space. When the building became available that Subway occupied on the corner of Highland Ave and Bradley Ave, the owner of Sweet Bella's took it over and began a major renovation. The restaurant looks great. It's very clean and organized. The family is super friendly and the food is excellent. I've only been there twice so far, but what I've had was great. The first time I had the Chicken Santore sandwich. Chicken cutlets, pepperoni, roasted red peppers, melted provolone, and honey mustard. Fantastic sandwich ! Last Saturday I stopped in again for breakfast. I had the Southwest Breakfast Burrito. Scrambled eggs, sausage, grilled peppers, grilled onions, and cheese on a sundried tomato wrap and heated through on a panini press. Such a nice change from a typical boring breakfast sandwich. This burrito has great bold flavors, which I love. Freshly made and very tasty. Recommend by coworkers about sweet Bella sandwich. I ordered the brass city panini, it was missing two of the toppings. When going back to the restaurant to see about adding roasted peppers and pesto. The lady owner appeared to be upset that I came back to correct my sandwich. The man whom made the sandwich stated I ordered the chicken flat. Looking at the menu i assume he was talking about the chicken flag. As for my co workers explained to the lady owner about how they waited on the phone to place our order and was forgotten. In which they ordered the same La Gabriella paninis one without tomato. As my co workers explained what was missing from their panini the owner lady was very defensive but was not yelling or raising her tone. For the male owner he presented in a aggressive manor. Asking my co workers if they are still complaining as he is correcting and making one panini, one sub and a wrap. The Lady owner offered to give back our money and added to give a free drink or dessert. My coworkers said they will still pay and take a drink. Swung by this place a few days ago and got two sandwiches to go. Both were good and I've only given 4 stars because one sandwich was not made how the sign read. There was spinach where it should have been arugula and unfortunately I only like my spinach cooked not raw and therefore had to pick it off the sandwich.
