Food was amazing, had the quesadilla and the esquites. The atmosphere and outdoor seating was really nice. Overall would recommend giving a try. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Tacombi is my favorite taqueria. Now that they've been open for a month they've gotten the hang of it. TBH, the first time we went, the service was so bad that we ended up getting up and leaving without eating. Since then we've gone three times and it's been consistently great. Ordered Al pastor tacos, meat looked dry and tortillas were cold. Guacamole had too much onion.

Met the chef John, who took care of us as started out w/ homemade tortilla chips w/ guac, ordered grilled fish tacos and chicken quesadilla, and that corn with cotija cheese. Wish they had a spicier hot sauce as the sauces they bring to the table are milder. Then went for taco Tuesday and ordered their shrimp and fish tacos, they don't take reservations and usually a line up so be prepared to wait. Glad to have this option in the neighborhood. read more

This is a review for a delivery order. Spent $90 getting 1 burrito, 2 plates and chips and guacamole delivered. Delivery was super fast. But the quality of the food was horrible. I have been looking forward to trying tacombi since they first arrived in miami but never had the chance. Everything I ordered was far poorer quality than advertised. The protein looks like it was served leftovers from somewhere else and the tortillas were cold and raw. The only thing with flavor was the 2 sauces I ordered on the side. I went with my brother here to Taco Tuesday and had a really nice time. Rather quick service with non-Brickell scorch your hiney pricing made it a winner. On Tuesdays it's buy one, get one taco as of this writing. So menu is basically broken down into tacos, burritos and quesadillas. Outside seating when cooler is certainly recommended and the place is just screaming casual fun. There is an indoor open area (air conditioned) if you would prefer that. So laid back and you can basically walk to it anywhere in the Brickell area. The avocado tostada was my favourite, my brother vouched for the pastor tacos. Stays open till 11pm on Fridays and Saturday. Limited to about 3 sauces, the best one for us was tomatillo. read more

Tacombi has great ambiance and great location. I love their foods however the horchata was HORRIBLE! The worst thing is the service ! Is extremely slow and inattentive. It was hard to understand if you could just sit anywhere or had to be seated, then to get a server and menus to help took so long. And once they take that first order good luck trying to ask for salsas or something else cuz they either won't bring it or you won't be able to get service. read more

Tacombi is open in the Brickell area and well it was underwhelming. The options are limited, the service is OK and the food isn't bad but for what you're paying doesn't really make it worth it at all in my opinion. I went during a Tuesday around lunch time and it was quiet and somehow the service was still very slow. We ordered a chicken quesadilla, three tacos, and corn esquites which were the highlight and favorite! The corn esquites were filled with so much flavor and if I were to come back I would just order those, that's how good we are talking! Everything else about this spot I found out it to be underwhelming though and there are so many other taco spots to check out in the area where you can get a better deal and overall better experience. And not sure if the prices are going to get looked at since I know most likely this is going to turn several potential customers away. It's not a good deal for the small portions you're getting served and ending up with a $60+ bill at the end of your meal. read more

If you're thinking about getting tacos, I'd strongly suggest skipping this place. The tacos themselves are already pretty underwhelming, but the biggest issue is the service. I come here occasionally because of the BOGO deal on Uber Eats it's affordable, sure, but the way the servers treat customers who order through Uber Eats is consistently unpleasant and uncomfortable. You're still paying for food, yet the service feels dismissive and rude. I wouldn't recommend this spot until management seriously retrains the staff. read more

meh... paid $25 for a teeny, bland chicken taco topped with pickled onions (sadly it was not spicy at all, as advertised), a grilled fish taco (little more flavor but still teeny) & a teeny order of guacamole with a bag of TOTOPOS (am I the only one who had no idea that's what mexican chips are called? new favourite word!). Was not impressed. Maybe it's cuz it was takeout or maybe they were having an off day? Not sure but considering the fact that delicious Coyo is basically the same distance from my office, it's going to be hard to not automatically choose them whenever I'm in the mood for mexican. Wasted an hour of my time. I was originally in the dine in line but they had two lines, one for the to go and one for the diner. I just wanted my tacos to go but the Califa tacos were only for dine in. No one explained that to me and the workers who organized the line now forced me to go back to the line that was 20 deep, when the people I was in front for the dine in line were next in line. Don't waste your time, clearly this company is over their head, and for the el califa de Leon brand I'm sorry your brand is tainted because of tacombis ineptitude. read more

The service was great, and the restaurant had a really nice vibe. I had the fish tacos, the shrimp taco and the beans a rice and all were phenomenal. The size is a little larger than a traditional street taco. I'd highly recommend coming here if you haven't tried it. After having frequented Tacombi on Elizabeth St in NYC several times over the years, I decided to patronize the location in Brickell, while visiting a friend. Upon arriving, I seated myself and a minute later, a young lady placed a menu on my table without greeting me or offering me water. I then proceeded to wait for her, the other waitress or either of the two waiters to come over, but not a single one did. I then, intently looked their way in hopes someone would tend to me but no one did. After five minutes, a couple sat beside me and within 5 seconds, the younger male waiter rushed over to greet them and take their order. I then asked him, if he had trouble seeing me or registering the fact that I was there to which her asked me to wait. After I asked the question again, he called over an older waiter who asked if I was ready, knowing that I'd been ready long before they chose to engage other patrons. Had I not been hungry, I would've left. In any event, after my food arrived, i was not given the opportunity to order a beverage or anything else because - you guessed it - I wasn't asked. And, after waiting 5 minutes following my meal for them to bring my check, I finally stood and waited, at which point the older waiter returned. I paid the 18% service fee because it was automatically included, but they didn't deserve a single penny for the service alone, which was horrendous, and the food, which was mediocre at best. It's worth nothing that I was patient, respectful and THE ONLY Black person there, so the only conclusion I can come to is that they are not welcoming to people of color, in which case, I absolutely RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM TACOMBI BRICKELL. As I stated to the waiter prior to leaving, no one should be made to feel invisible when they're choosing to patronize a restaurant. read more
