Got a burrito and all I can say is, mehh. I was so excited to come to this place. Heard nothing but good about Tacomasa. Order an asada burrito and an horchata. The horchata was good, hard to mess that up. The burrito was just... ok. I was so underwhelmed. Maybe I got the wrong item? Maybe I should've got a mulita or tacos? Oh well. I'll start with the good and enjoyable aspects of Tacomasa. For one, their meat is seasoned exceptionally well. I've enjoyed the taste and flavor of everything I've tried here, from the tacos and mulitas to the burritos and vampiros. Additionally, the service is very good, which is a big reason I've continued to support Tacomasa. However, the menu does lean on the pricier side. For example, a single taco runs about $5. For the price of a burrito, which is $14, you would expect something more substantial, but it is one of the skinnier burritos I've had. My biggest issue is that salsa and sides are not provided unless you specifically ask for them. I requested lime, salsa, and radish to accompany my order, and received one salsa, one lime, and two barely there slivers of radish skin that were not even thick enough to be considered slices. I understand if there is no salsa bar in order to cut costs, but at the very least, this establishment could offer two limes, more than one salsa container, and a couple of solid radish slices, especially given the prices. I have never been to a taco shop where I had to ask for salsa, lime, and the fixings, only to receive one of each. You also have to specify whether you want red or green salsa. I hope the managers and owners of Tacomasa take this review into consideration, as addressing these key points would help propel it into one of the best taco joints in the South Bay. read more

Service was great. Carne asada breakfast burrito was not. 3 unchewable large fat pieces in the first four bites. Removed several more. For a 12 dollar egg and carne burrito it was very light on eggs and heavy on tortilla which made it look bigger thank it was. Had a 6 dollar Ralph's burrito that was sadly much better. read more

I stopped by here to pass time after work and I thought to myself I will just get a bean rice and cheese burrito. How could that go wrong right? My total was 1025 for a bean rice and cheese burrito with creamy guacamole, which is basically a green sauce. Besides the price, establishment is very clean and had pretty quick service. I don't have a picture of the burrito as I threw it in the trash after trying to force myself to eat it because I did $10. The burrito itself was poorly wrapped ,beyond messy, and just didn't leave a lasting impression. on top of that, the cheese on the burrito was that grilled cheese, the type that are usually in like the cheese, rap burritos or quesadilla tacos and it did not have a good taste. I couldn't hold the burrito up and eat it. I tried to rip it apart and enjoy most of it, but I couldn't because it was too messy and there was barely any rice after paying charge. Had dinner at Tacomasa and honestly -- best tacos in L.A. The food is insanely good. The tacos are full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and super fresh. You can taste that they actually care about what they're serving. Huge shoutout to Ivan and Celeste for the amazing service. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome the whole time. You don't always get that in busy taco spots. Also: super clean location. That matters. I was really hoping not to like this place because of the price and how close it is to my workplace, but (un)fortunately I love this place! I'm not exaggerating when I say that I think about this place every week. Asada taco: 4.5/5. The beef was so tender and flavorful, but I personally wish it had a little more char! Otherwise wow really good, especially with the guac! Adobada taco: 5/5. My eyes widened after taking my first bite because WOW the flavors burst in your mouth. It's so good and the meat is cooked so well!! I will definitely be back to try their other tacos. At around $5 per taco, I think it's worth it for the quality, freshness, and portion. Totally understand why this place has great reviews. Great service, clean spot, fast service and fresh/tasty food. Opted for a 2 taco combo one steak and one pork off the rotating meat wheel. To our surprise the pork and beans where the star of the show. Prices were decent. Only 12.95 for the combo plus it came with rice,beans and a drink (includes aqua frescas options). I had a business meeting next door and found this gem! The TJ style tacos are incredibly authentic , and the restaurant is spotless. (This is a big plus) The friendly staff and thoughtful decor, including stands of some of my fave Mexican snacks, make it feel warm and welcoming--just like home. This is the 1st places I've been lured to based on a TikTok video. Tacomasa offers great tasting Mexican fast food that's high in quality and well portioned. I found the service to be friendly and efficient. The tacos de asada are a must try as was the Torta de adobada! The meat is cooked over wood charcoal that adds a rich smokey flavor to it! I recommend you get them with everything on it. Con todo. The adobada is sliced off the Trompo (IYKYK) and is also perfectly seasoned. The wait for the food was longer than expected. Probably because the word is out on this place. I believe there's an app where you can pre-order your food for pick up? Because it was on the fries, I expected the sauce would be on the fries, but it wasn't. It had guacamole and sour cream on it. Just seemed too much sauce already on it to add the birria sauce. The birria, without the sauce, wasn't bad but ... I think any other meat choice would've been better for this dish. The tortilla chips are fresh! Very good! The service was good. Just know it's a very small space, order at the register and pick up. Not on par with the surrounding restaurants. Thus, 3 stars. But they do have a few electrical outlets, a few outdoor tables, and the prices are good! It's very reasonable.
