We were at Pompano Beach and decided to take a walk and get some lunch. Found this place at the end of Atlantic Blvd and what a find for lunch. Three of us all had their tacos- pork , chicken, and shrimp. They were plentiful and really good. Sat outdoors along the Blvd and enjoyed the day. They have draft and bottle beer, along with sodas and mixed drinks. Service was quick and efficient.. noticed from our seats A brisk takeout business. Seemed like a lot of people eating on the beach. Service was good but the food was not good. Ordered the guacamole and chips to start with and the guacamole taste store bought not homemade and chips were stale. Then I got 3 tacos, chicken, steak and mahi. All tacos lacked seasoning, they overfilled with cabbage and barely any pico and a lot of the cilantro mayo which just made it taste greasy. We've eaten here a bunch of times over the last couple of years. Both dine in and take out. Always very good. We have eaten our way trough most of their tacos and all are very good. Grilled or fries Mahi and shrimp are our favorite though beef and kimchi are also great. Caritas could use a bit more flavor. Service is fast and friendly. This was such a fun spot right by the beach! We stopped in for some good food and drinks and they did not disappoint. It is a super casual place, we were all in our bathing suits. It's a really cute beach vibe with awesome food. I ordered the chicken taco platter and it came with 2 tacos, 2 sides (I got 2 rices), and corn. It was delicious! It was also very reasonably priced which is always a bonus. I got a piña colada which came in a pineapple which is always super fun. Excellent experience! We were looking for a place near the beach with vegetarian options. We liked the menu options and decided to give it a try even though it was a holiday. I was in the pompano area and my grandma was craving tacos even though I just had tacos last night at naked tacos but I always wanted to check this taco joint out that is rarely new. My grandma had chicken tacos with everything as always and a chicken quesadilla (cheese, chicken, black beans, corn, tomatoes) toasted and pressed to yummy-ness! Oh and let's not forget her elite corn she didn't eat so I did the honor of eating it lol super saucy and coated with what seemed like grated parmesan cheese I had the steak fajitas, came with 2 flour tortillas, all sides and again great! I also had a piña colada to see if it was worth coming back to whenever I'm sun bathing on the beach, and was it was pretty decent they also have whole pineapple and coconut carved out to look fancy and feel like your actually on some tropical island on vacation. Just moved to pompano from the northeast and was looking for a place to get takeout with my partner and sit on the beach during sunset. Holy sh*t... jalapeño wings were BOMB. Falling off the bone and the sauce was everything. I got a steak burrito bowl and everything tasted super fresh. The highlight was definitely all the sauces that came with the order. If they bottled the yellow hot sauce, which i think has a nice hint of curry, i would drink it. If you're from pompano or just visiting, this is def the place to grab a bite! We came across Taco joint just walking by the beach, trying to find something to eat. The food was great. We ordered ground beef taco and grilled mahi platters. They came with black beans, a side of flavorful yellow rice and corn on the cob with an amazing sauce on it. Truly everything was great. Food was great, flavorful and super affordable. We had the hard shell ground beef taco, hard shell carnita taco and a ground beef taco. The home made hard shells made the taco for me! Service for lunch was so fast and friendly it just made me feel like they actually wanted me as a customer! Jalapeno pineapple wings were literally the best wings I've ever eaten. No fat, fall of the bone, perfect flavor, not super spicy. Lobster tacos are a must. Lobster is battered and deep fried like fish tacos. Cotija (street corn) was amazing. Our meals came with one each but we didn't know that and ordered them as appetizers so we ended up having two each! Bonus! Came back in town and had to make a stop here. I love love love the seafood tacos. Lobster being my favorite, shrimp and mahi mahi. The margarita pitchers are definitely a bargain and get you buzzed.
