Take away grilled mahi taco platter with black beans, yellow rice, and street corn-on-the-cob. Everything was perfect! Service is amazing, too! Thank you for an easy dinner tonight! read more

We've been eating at the Taco Joint, now Taco Station, since it opened and the food and service has always been good. This week, however, the service was terrible. It wasn't crowded but it took 10-15 minutes to get waited on and our server delivered our food and that's about it. read more

Wow! This place had the best tacos. We had the Mahi tacos and the birra taco platter. Both were amazing with plenty of food. Prices for the food were great. read more

This place has amazing food. Serving sizes are huge and the employees are fantastic. Surprised it is not a trendy place, being this close to touristy stuff on the beach. I go with my friends once a week. Don't expect luxury dining, just bring your appetite. The joint is clean and even has outdoor seating. 5 stars for sure. read more

Taco Station - Wet steak burrito (size of a football) - Mexican Near Me - Pompano Beach, Florida

We were wandering around Pompano Beach watching the sky getting dark with rain on the way. We were trying to decide on some dinner and saw the specials on the tent board on the sidewalk outside of the TJ. We checked the reviews on Yelp and they were stellar. We grabbed an indoor table in this very small place The servers were super friendly, personable and attentive. We first got some drinks, on special, $5 margaritas and $3 beers. It was taco Tuesday so I got three: a ground beef, a carnitas, and a lobster taco (more like a lobster cake) - all were very good and for a total of $8 - nice! We also ordered the seafood ceviche appetizer which was huge and served in half of a pineapple. It was marinated fish and shrimp with pineapple. Excellent. Also they validate parking for nearby street & lot beach parking. Another plus! Big thumbs up for this restaurant. read more

Taco Station - Bill on taco Tuesday - Mexican Near Me - Pompano Beach, Florida

Most amazing tacos I've ever had. However watch your bill! Family of 4 and 20% gratuity included. Wanted to love this place however to add gratuity and then have suggested tips on top is a scam. We were about to tip over 20% on top of bill recieved, until I saw "Gratuity 20%". I have many a times had gratuity included, but only for huge parties 7+, this was not the case. read more

Decent . I have better for less . The wait was long as well. Friendly staff. Too much dark meat for chicken

Been here twice in 2 weeks. Great service all around. Brian is the man. Everything here is authentic and homemade. The atmosphere is a typical Mexico / taco joint. Nothing crazy. But wow! The food is fantastic. We had some burritos and tacos. And of course you can't go wrong with a couple pitchers of margaritas. Love this place. New spot at that beach. read more

Perfect fit for the neighborhood! Opened about 5 months ago with another location from Hollywood Beach. I'm not much of a taco person but I guess it was just having to find THE SPOT to go to. With that being said, let the raving review begin! It is right along the beach, so make a nice night out of it and have a nice meal and go for a stroll afterwards. The BBQ chicken taco may have been the best taco I have ever had and I cannot wait to try more of their menu! The Ceviche was so beautifully done, the taste was perfect in ever bite WOW WOW WOW The Pina Colada Filled Pineapple was the 3rd cherry ontop. I do judge this place as a local, a I am pleased to welcome you to the neighborhood. You are a great addition and wishing you much success as you did in Hollywood Beach. I SHALL BE BACK! read more

We haven't been there since the split with Hollywood. So glad we came!! The tacos were fantastic. And Brian our server was wonderful. This relatively new casual place (open just 4+ months) near the beach in Pompano surprised us by being as good as it was. There were a lot of options to choose for our lunch and it was just a matter of deciding which to order. We sat inside, but they have outside sidewalk tables. We were able to find on street (metered) parking right in front. If you're more interested in beverages, they have a number of refreshing alcoholic (and non) coladas, mojitos, and the like in a variety of tropical flavors. My husband got their burrito bowl with ground beef. On a layer of yellow rice and black beans, there was cabbage, pico de gallo, and cheese. The seasoned ground beef was a very generous portion. It came with some cilantro aioli on the side. I chose their shrimp fajitas. It was served in its own cast iron pan. Lots of sautéed onions and sweet bell peppers and a generous amount of shrimp, too. It came with tortillas, sour cream, and pico de Gallo. You can get cheese, too. My only quibble was that the sauce for it was killer spicy (for me) -- so I was glad it was served separately. Of course, you can always ask for hot sauce to add to your own taste. Prices were reasonable; service was good; food was tasty. This is a good option if you're near the beach or just looking for a pleasant lunch experience. read more

This new place has been around for just over four months and shows a lot of promise! One of the best Ground Beef Burrito Bowls I've had in a while! Base is a yellow rice and black beans, topped with plenty of flavorful ground beef. Chopped tomato, lettuce and shredded cheeses. Service is friendly and fast! read more

Service was fantastic. Both the girls who helped me order were great and very kind. Chips and salsa were average but good. Enchiladas come served with side of rice/beans, sour cream and pico. I did not enjoy the red enchiladas sauce to me it tasted more like marinara sauce. Overall pleasant experience and right by the beach. read more

Their food is top notch. Burrito bowl was incredibly flavorful. Selection of tacos was great. Can't wait to return.

The food is always amazing here. I always get the steak taco platter and I took out the street corn and I replace it with an extra side of beans and rice. As you can see in the picture they load up beans and rice which I love. The service is always amazing everybody who works there is super sweet. The food is always ready in about 5 to 10 minutes which is really good because you're able to park by the beach without paying and you're able to go get your food without having to wait. The ambience is really great especially because it's right on the beach right on the strip of other restaurants and worse. I love this place I always get my tacos here and I hope I become familiar face:) read more

Great food and drinks. Good service. Good for kids - great casual dining spot! Recommend the short rib/kimshi tacos - yummy

Great location, but food is really plain. $2.75 for a can of Coke is a bit of a turnoff for me. Inside dining is a combination of cheap tables and handmade afterthoughts of some kind of side bar /counter seating. Old ice bin shoved off to the side of the dining room with crap piled up on it. If the place was 20 years old, I might make an argument that is part of the place, but Taco Joint just opened a couple weeks ago and it already looks like they do t give a damn already. Waitress was untrained and struggling to even have a clue what to do. Had to ask for our check three times. Food was plain. We tried pork taco platter and an chicken enchilada platter. Boring with no spice or seasoning. Maybe if you reserve this joint for a place to find your belly after drinking beer all night or get takeout, maybe that is a better experience than I had. read more

This place is ok. This place is right across from the beach so it's good to stop before or after hitting the water. The drinks are huge but made with cheap liquor. The food taste good until you get home! My boyfriend and I weren't feeling so well after eating here. We felt bloated and nauseous. I recommend to go to this place as a last resort around here. read more
