Visiting Fargo from out of town and Vinyl Taco was recommended by several people. Love the MTV…read moremusic videos and dedication to the theme. The tacos were delicious, perfectly spiced and packed with ingredients! I loved the fresh chips and the green salsa was my favorite. Bartender was helpful and I loved the Margaritas on tap!

I'll start with the food. I ordered 2 Fish Taco's with side of rice and beans. The taco's were…read moreokay. rice & beans were bland. I did not taste any type of salt or seasoning. Mid at best. Its definitely not Latino's making that food in the back, I'll tell you that much. No bottle of water to go. Has to be in the glass. The waitress wasn't too warm. She wasn't mean but just wasn't too nice for a waitress. Dark, goth type chick. The place seemed dark as far as environment. Definitely wasn't good vibes in there. And don't make a mistake by bringing kids. They wont serve you. Only take out. They won't even let you eat on the outside seating area with the kids. 21+ should be a club venue by the way. Not a taco bar. Supposedly it's bc of the liquor license & the way the state is set up. Its very stupid if you ask me so definitely don't bring kids. This place is not kid/family friendly. But either way if Im on a girls night out/adult women only, I wouldnt come here. The owner/management of this place really needs to recalibrate, regroup & make this place more welcoming bc this place is NOT that.

We were in Fargo and very hungry after a morning of roaming around town. The car's GPS brought us…read morehere when I said, "Find me Mexican food." Definitely not what I was expecting. The place was loud and busy when we walked in, though that seemed to be part of the atmosphere. There's also quite a bit of outdoor seating available. The menu is pretty standard for what you'd expect from a Midwest Mexican restaurant. One difference is that they make fresh guac tableside. Caveat emptor: you do pay extra for this. The complimentary chips come with three different dips, which was a nice touch. Not sure what the rest of our party ordered, but I had the Fiesta Bowl and it was delish. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the service was quick and friendly. I started with the blueberry margarita, and it was so good -- super refreshing and packed with flavor. For my meal, I ordered the Burrito Mex and subbed shrimp. It was delicious, even though I originally thought it would be more of a handheld burrito -- it wasn't, but the flavor made up for it! The rice and beans were amazing, perfectly seasoned, and the queso was incredibly good too. Honestly, everything on the plate hit the spot. We also ordered guacamole before our meals, and they made it right at the table, which was such a fun touch. It came out super fresh and customizable, just how we like it. Overall, Plaza Azteca was a great experience!!
