We had the regular size Brussels sprouts (generous portion), grilled chicken Dillionaire w/house salad, crispy chicken Flyin' East w/waffle fries - everything was very delicious. I felt the Flyin' east had a tad too much sauce on it, but easily remedied. Salad was fresh, waffle fries excellent, crispy and well seasoned. So many things to try on this menu. The only downside was that it was chilly so a bit uncomfortable.

The good: enjoyable food and breakfast served all day. The Denver omelette was fantastic and when…read moreit arrived, it arrived promptly and hot. My server, Brooklyn, was a doll. She would always ask if I needed anything, how I was doing and even brought me a box right away when I said I probably wouldn't finish the pancake as opposed to waiting until my bill arrived. This is your normal standard family restaurant. Lots of elderly are here and it's due to the classic homestyle cooking and easy parking lot. The bad: when I entered, the sign said wait to be seated and so I did. They have 1 person running the register which does clog up because when you are done eating here, you walk up and pay. This caused confusion into who is waiting to be seated vs. paying. I stood around for 10 minutes before a staff member offered to help. Staff should know who is coming and going but I have compassion when it gets busy. I pointed to the sign and said is it seat yourself? The staff member looked confused so I told her that I have been waiting on a table. It shouldn't take 10 minutes to iron out customers. Recommendations include another staff member at the front to control new walk ins to mitigate confusion or better attention from the staff at the register. The ugly: I thought I left my wireless mouse there as I worked from my computer. When I called to inquire about my missing item, the staff member was rude , she put me on hold after I stated my reason for calling and said she needed to help another customer. When she came back on the line, she proceeded to not really care about my ask, couldn't hear my ask correctly in the first place and then asked where I was sitting. This was such a turn off for me. Food is a 4. Service is a 2.5.

You walk in to a small shelf with these gargantuan cinnamon rolls on display that I'm sure double as a pillow for when you eat the first one. Pro tip, Buy TWO!!! We were greeted and seated promptly and our drinks came out quickly. Our server was by soon after to take our orders. She did an excellent job and had a warm personality I hope to see so far up north! Being from a more southern state I found it interesting to see a "taco omelette" on the menu and almost didn't order it but I had to try! It was a fun change of pace and hit the spot. It's not gonna be go to item for me but it's always cool to try new things . It was delicious and chocked full of ground beef!! I enjoyed it with a dab of sour cream. Wifey enjoyed her eggs Benny and the kiddo had a pretty epic looking waffle. For two bucks you get all the cool whipped cream and strawberry compote!! Overall an excellent experience and it's easy to see the locals love it!!

I opted in for the breakfast sandwhich which was the right size for me. Many spots these days give way too much food and this was just enough. It even came with two hash brown triangles like the ones from middle school bringing back all the nostalgia. Zero crumbs were left. I will definitely return as I want to try some of the pancake and French toast options. Thank you, Marge's Diner, for being so accommodating and not trying to be anything fancy. I admire the theme, setup, service, decor and prices. Bravo!!!

She selected regular cut bacon over thick cut, and also choose the cheesy hashbrowns as the potato option. I don't recall which bread she chose. She said it all tasted great, and had me taste the potatoes, but between the bacon & potatoes, it was on the greasier side (in case you are sensitive to that). I look forward to trying the Salmon Omelette, Beignets, Biscuits & Gravy and stuffed bagel for breakfast. Then several items from the lunch side.

We were waiting by the host stand when the hostess came up, followed by who I assumed was the manager on duty, all in a huff. Instead of a basic, professional welcome, we were snapped at: "It's going to be about 20-30 minutes to seat you, we are understaffed and very busy!" No apologies, no "Hey, please understand we are understaffed at the moment, if you like, please grab a drink at the bar and we will get you seated ASAP." The bar area seemed to be the only open section, and that was half-full at best. As someone in the industry, I get staggering tables, but to be so b*tchy about it is unacceptable. With both a street fair and the Bison game happening that same day, management should have expected that level of business and staffed accordingly. It wasn't our fault they were understaffed, and taking that frustration out on guests is a terrible way to make an impression on out-of-towners or locals alike!
