My friend took me to this place he loves, and we decided to get the 8 taco tray since it makes each taco cheaper. He recommended the shrimp tacos and so I got two of those. They were really good! And I really appreciate that they put lots of toppings on top and included lots of peppers and limes. The carne asada tacos were very standard but the shrimp tacos were definitely a standout. I wanna come back and try their fish tacos. Each taco is priced the same. The inside is very standard and they have a good amount of seating. This was my first time eating taco nazo at this location. I usually get the fish tacos at a different location and it always hits the spot. I went in on a Monday evening with a friend and was able to find a seat right away. I wanted to try something different to see what else was good and got the crab ceviche. I would recommend against anyone getting it. I wasn't expecting like gourmet ceviche but I certainly wasn't expecting imitation crab for the ceviche!! It wasn't good at all. It was pretty rubbery and tasted like old seafood. I didn't get sick but I couldn't stomach it after awhile, even with sauce and lemon squeezed all over. This is partly why I never try anything different. There should be a sign that says "not real crab" or something for the ceviche. Service was fine, although I think the cashier looked at me a little funny when I ordered the crab ceviche LOL. Should've taken that as a sign. This location was a little small but cozy. Well, I found this Taco Nazo location on Yelp & since I was a huge fan of their old location in Azusa, I thought I'd give this location a try. After reading many reviews, I noticed the photo showing this location had been shut down recently for VERMIN Infestation. Again, since they were allowed to reopen, I drove down here to give them a try. Low & behold, I get to the door & on their window is a big fat letter "B!" I'm sorry, but I refuse to eat somewhere that does not have the letter "A," as in the past, I've not only gotten sick, but I have found a bug in my food at restaurants with a "B" displayed. I appreciated that we could choose two types of tacos; we went with fish and potato. The fish taco is excellent--generous portion and all the toppings complement it perfectly. The potato taco is also top-notch, super crispy on the outside with a fluffy interior. Additionally, I ordered the ricotta taco, which I had tried before. It didn't taste quite as good this time, but it was still enjoyable. Their ceviche is also impressive; however, I think they should provide more than just three tostadas. The service was good. Be careful when tipping. My wife placed the order online and I was told to pickup. When I arrived, I showed them the order number and they handed me a receipt. Which has a sub total, tip, and total. Any person would just go ahead and put a tip. My problem is, this practice is very deceitful. We had two fish tacos which were really good - the fish filled up the tortilla and the breading was perfect. They were loaded with cabbage, tomatoes, and a creamy sauce. My husband ordered a shrimp burrito. He was surprised it was fried shrimp instead of grilled shrimp but I thought it added a nice crunch. I also loved that each order came with peppers!
