I always love a trip to Taco Mac. The food and beer is great. Try to sit at the bar if you can!!

The food was good and service was slow and there wasn't a crowd. We came in on a Wednesday at like 2pm and it took awhile to get drinks, they were out of 2 different drinks we had ordered. Then the food order took a very long time. We didn't leave til almost 4pm and there was 6 of us total. 2 hours to eat and one round of drinks is a bit too long for me. read more

Bartender is super annoying and uptight, makes me uncomfortable. Not sure why shes a bartender. She will probably call the cops on you. Falsely accused me of trying to have minor sneak me alcohol when many cities in Georgia allow to go mixed drinks. Food is hit or miss. read more

A server called Ashley at this Taco Mac was not only horrible but even called us broke! I came to this taco Mac, my friends were already here and almost done eating. I was just there for vibes, when I'm there I here the server start complaining about how a couple people got up and were moving around (some people had to leave early but their billed was getting payed for). After that my friend commented on how this is actually been the worst server they have ever had. She later brought out everyone's check and then didn't come back for 20 minutes. Then her coworker came out and told us she was crying because another table payed, didn't tip, and took the merchant copy of the receipt. She claimed she would have to pay for their food now because they took the receipt. She mentioned how she doesn't make a lot and even with our tips she wouldn't be able to afford the table of 3. Once everyone payed and starting writing the tips (they were not great because of the service). She came over to our table and started complaining about what she did wrong and to be honest. My friends eventually told her and she got really defensive and said we don't know how hard it is to be a server (most of us have been servers or currently are). Then she later said and I quote "I get it, I get that we're broke college students, but if we can't afford it, then don't come." Mind you she hasn't even seen the tips because we had just wrote them so I don't have any idea on how she knew how much we tipped. But I believe tipping is based on service. Poor service= poor tip. Genuinely the worst server I've seen, and I was there for like 15 minutes! ashley is a white girl, black hair, and about 5'6ish, so if you have her as your server, request another one! read more

You come for the games, but the food is what keeps you coming. Tons of screens are abound as you walk in taco mac, and you can look in every direction to see your desired game. With as much action going on on the screens, there is equally as much action going on in house. The restaurant can get busy, and that can make the amount of time you see your server a little less than desired. My go to order is the 10 mild oven roasted chicken wings with a side of fries. The fries average very well seasoned and salted, and the mild sauce still has a pretty good kick to them. I always like to start my meal though with the fried mozzarella sticks. The are filled with plenty of cheese, and that oh so desirable crunch in the breading. Order them as a starter next time you visit. In fact, maybe just go and only order the mozzarella. read more

So I've been to taco Mac before. But this is my first time at this location. I ordered the same thing I get every time. The elderflower79 and the chatahoochee burger with the Brussels sprouts. The elderflower79 is my favorite drink here and when it arrived I instantly knew it was not correct. Turns out this location makes it differently than other locations by adding an extra ingredient that made it taste like lemon beer. Disgusting. As for the burger. It was poorly put together and poorly made. Cheese was slapped on. The sauce was barely present and it overall tasted like all the ingredients were just sitting out. While the service was decent this location is a big no for food and drinks. Won't give up on taco Mac but will not be returning to this location nor would I recommend it. read more

Salad was a bit skimpy and was missing some ingredients that were supposed to be included. Wings were good but fries were also skimpy for $4.. Biggest issue was time to receive the food. All in time from order to receiving our order was about 40 minutes. For wings and a salad, this seemed ridiculous. I come here all the time for good food and beer. It's usually pretty good food wise. Today was not one of those days. I ordered dry rub lemon pepper wings. They came out almost plain with most of the seasoning on the bottom of the plate. All you had to do was toss them in melted butter first to get the seasoning to stick. Critical thinking skills are lost on some people nowadays I guess. I work at a popular restaurant in Acworth. They bend over backwards to get the food right every time. Wow. Believe the reviews. I went at 4pm and there were probably 10-12 other people in the place. Not tables, people. It took almost an hour for an order of wings. I promise it didn't take that long because they were busy. The manager wasn't able to say why or what was going on. Just "they are working on it". Hell, tell me they dropped on the floor when they were pulling them out of the fryer and I would have said "oh, ok". He returns about 10 minutes later and says "they are putting the sauce on now". Then the server comes by a minute or two later saying I would be ready in about 2 minutes. Wow. Get your $@&+ together. Not sure how this place stays open. read more

This location deserves ZERO stars! The service was absolutely horrible!!!! The bar was out of a lot of alcohol (Honey Jack) and beer (Sam Adams). Asked for water 3 times before the server actually brought it out. Ordered very basic food (wings, tenders, and a wrap) and it took over AN HOUR AND A HALF for the food to arrive. Spoke to the manager after 40 minutes of waiting and he went on the grill to make the food. Still waited over another 40 minutes to get basic bar food. Our server was horrible. She told us at the beginning she may not be working there next week...and clearly her service reflected that! My Grilled Chicken Wrap was horrible! Hardly any meat, mostly wrap, lettuce & tomatoes. Ordered a 6pc wing to go and found a hair in my food on the last wing. Called the next morning right at open and the manager was extremely dismissive and claimed it couldn't have come from them (though no one in my home has matching hair). The only option he allowed was me to bring the meal back and they could replace it. I didn't want a replacement and it was the last wing anyway so all I had was remnants of spit out chicken and fries ... but you want it back? I would have been happier with my money back or even a gift card to use at another location. He immediately denied any other alternative solution. The hair in the food was gross, but honestly the managers lack of good customer service left a worse taste in my mouth that was very disappointing. I also work in the food service industry so I understand these things can happen, but the manager handled it poorly. I tried being polite over the phone and ask "how are you?" first, the first time I asked was either unheard or ignored so i repeated it and was met with a dry "busy. what can I help you with". I already overheard the manager speaking before coming to the phone saying that he was busy with interviews and other things as if he didn't want to speak with me to begin with. Customer service makes or breaks an establishment. I could see past the hair in the dry wings, but that just felt rude and dismissive. read more

Service was A++, manager checked on us multiple times, brought us a highchair before we asked himself, brought us dessert as well and it was pretty busy when we were in there. We had a large party and ordered a ton of food including 50 wings. Everything was hot and fresh and tasted delicious. Waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. I've always loved Taco Mac but suggesting to stop here while passing through town on a road trip with a giant family I married into was high pressure, TACO MAC came in clutch and made me look like a hero. Placed a pick up order and was super disappointed with my dessert that was $6.99. As you can see in the images you see what I got vs. what I was supposed to get. The item I was received had no sauce on it and was not even warm by the time I got home and I live on campus which isn't even 5 min away. The powder sugar that's on there I had to put myself because there was barely anything on them. Taco Mac is usually a nice place to meet up with friends and the location is convenient... but recently this location seems to have gone downhill. I am assuming they are heavily understaffed. A few weeks ago celebrating a birthday, the food took a long time and our server apologized and told us they were missing staff in the kitchen that night. Now when I went with a friend last night we were blown away by how poor the experience was. Long story short: we weren't given utensils by the host when we sat down so we had to go get them. When we got them, one of the two were dirty (gross) so we had to get another. Then I ended up finding a small hair on my burger. Our waiter was running around frazzled with too many tables. I'm giving two stars because the food was still pretty good and I'm hoping this location will improve since my friends used to like to come here. One of our old college buddies was in town, so a group of us--say, about 10 of us, all late 40s/early 50s--decided to have some dinner and drinks at this Taco Mac location since most of the group lives nearby. We called Taco Mac to make a reservation--both to ensure we'd have seating, and because restaurants usually appreciate the heads-up for larger groups. However, Taco Mac doesn't take reservations! Well, that wasn't too much of a concern since we were planning to get there relatively early (6'ish) and ahead of the dinner rush. So, a few of us get there ahead of the others, and although there are PLENTY of seats/tables available, we're told we can't sit until we had a minimum number of people present, which seemed kind of arbitrary. It is at THIS point where the one-star rating is being left. Rather than letting us have our table so we could order some drinks and appetizers while the rest of our group arrived, we had to stand around, bored and hungry. By the time we were all present and seated, the service was PAINFULLY slow. And then by the time we got our drink orders placed, some of us were wondering if we should even order apps or entrees because of concerns that we would be there much longer than anticipated. That said, some of us DID exactly that. If we could have started our drink/food orders earlier, not only would all of us have been able to actually have had better and complete experiences, but Taco Mac would have sold more food, and that means more tips for the servers....and isn't that what the whole point of a restaurant is, both for the customers, employees and owners? read more

If it's late and you really want something to eat, go to Taco Mac, but don't expect a dazzling experience. Most of the food is pretty bland if not outright bad...been there about 5 times and only really liked the quesadillas. However, I keep coming back for the welcoming staff. If you do decide to go, check to see if Ophelia is there, she kills it with her great attitude and charm. TLDR: Overall, expect pretty bland food but a good atmosphere. Ask for Ophelia. read more

This is the first time I'd been to the Kennesaw location, and I probably...won't be back. At the end of the day, this really is a good sports bar, but I'd rather go to a different location or a different bar all together if I'm staying in the Kennesaw area. The location isn't bad, but parking just isn't great especially next to the insanely busy Chick-fil-a next door. Once inside though, the restaurant is clean and servers are friendly. Asking for the TV to be changed to the game you want can always be difficult wherever you go, so I won't hold it against them when they weren't the most accommodating. Service was prompt and I felt we were well taken care of. Overall we were pretty disappointed in the boneless wings--too much breading and not enough chicken. But as always, their flavors are great and I know their bone-in wings are delish. We went at 8 on a Saturday night and there was no wait. I do love their booths, they are very roomy and there's enough space on tables for drinks, apps, and main dishes which is pretty rare. read more

I always get the wings! I get the 10 wings with fries. I ask for the wings to be roasted. The flavors I get are half lemon pepper and half slow burn. There's no extra charge for different flavors. The fries here are sooo yummy. It's a must-have side! If you don't know what to order, get the wings! The queso is also a great choice. It comes with a lot of chips and tortillas. It's my favorite appetizers. The service is always great and the environment is definitely very social. Parking is kinda a hassle when the area is packed. I've been here and ordered from here several times and have yet to have an experience to rave about. 90% of the food is mediocre at best, except the nachos both chicken and beef have been pretty good every time. Sometimes the wings are decent but the service is normally not that great. On our most recent visit, we placed a to go order about 45 mins before close and were told it would be ready in 15 mins. We get there about 20 mins later and it's not there, we are told they are waiting for an item. We get our food about 15 mins after that, just to get home to cold fries, a burnt burger that was suppose to be medium well but was whatever past well is (overcooked) and cold wings. I'm confused on what they were waiting for as it seemed the food had just been sitting. There was no apology for the wait and by the time we got home and opened our food it was too late to call about the order. So note, don't order a brioche bun for your burger and don't pay 2.00 to add bacon because the bacon, smh I had to search for it. read more
