I believe they have two pool tables and four or so dart boards. The pool is always popular, but the darts are almost always available the few times I've visited. The food and drink prices were pretty reasonable. Food quality is pretty average for bar food. You know how it is. Nothing of the extreme spectrum of gross or amazing, just right in the middle. I have a receipt from three years ago because I wanted to remember certain drinks that was ordered. Well... The Irish car bombs for instance has not increased in price: $7.50. I can't believe some of their prices haven't changed in years. But their drink selection has all sort of types and prices. I used to frequent the Peachtree Corners location, but that location has since closed down. This newer location is pretty spacious inside.

After placing my order, the waitress said it would be a few minutes and promptly delivered my sweet tea. Babeeeeeeeee. The sweet tea at Mazzy's is the bombbbbbbbbb. Next time I'm asking for a pitcher. Ha! When my food arrived, it was hot, smelled amazing, and was visually pleasing. The bacon was crispy and sat well in the gooey cheese. The bread was perfectly toasted to golden perfection and the cheese was not skimp. Whoever made this grilled cheese understood the cheese to bread to bacon ratio requirements. The fries were perfectly fried as well and flavorful. They paired well with the sandwich as the salt levels weren't too high. Sis enjoyed her birthday. It is located off of the main road on a semi secluded plot of land that has ample parking, and very well lit. The patio area, which allows for smoking, is one of the first areas I noticed as several people were sitting out there on a pleasant Sunday evening. The patio also had several TVs for viewing games. Upon entry, there was seating in a bar area with additional TVs, and a larger dining area to the right of entrance and beyond the front section were pool/billiards tables with TVs around the tables. I sat at a hi-top table with my group, who had already arrived, in the larger dining area. Noticed that the booths had their own personal TVs. I let our server know that I had just arrived and would like to see a menu. She barely acknowledged me, and never returned with requested menu. My partner had arrived prior to me and had ordered the grouper sandwich with a side of okra. The grouper was grilled and fairly tasty. The okra was fried and came with a sauce that was really good. After we shared his meal, I was still interested in ordering. When the menu finally made it to me, I looked at the options and decided that I wanted to stick with fish. There were only a few options, including fish and chips, a salmon entrée, and the grouper sandwich. I decided on the fish and chips as it was described to be cod served on a bed of fries, and wanted to order a different type of fish. I pointedly asked the server if the fries had a batter similar to other establishments, and she said no. She went on to describe several other things that were not related to my question, but did confirm that there was nothing added to the fries. Unfortunate what I received was a few pieces of heavily breaded fish, and a basket of battered fries. When sharing that this is "exactly what I did not want" and inquiring about alternatives, the server repeatedly stated that sweet potato fries were available at an up charge. She said this several times, and at no point provided any solutions. My partner later shared that she told him that the sweet potato fries were also battered fries, which was exactly what I didn't want in any form, fashion or type of potato! We ended up cutting our losses with my partner, eating the fries and me dissecting the heavy breading to actually find the cod. My server never came back to check on me as I was interested in ordering a beer to go with my meal. This experience just confirms that everyone is not suitable for the service industry! The other servers that were in the vicinity appeared to be much more comfortable with larger crowds, and I actually had to ask one of them for something because my server never returned after bringing the food. Customer Service should be number one in every establishment, as I am a proponent of rewarding good service. I may return again after eating elsewhere to just enjoy the games, get a few drinks and possibly play pool as it was closed by the time I finished eating (access to the pool tables end 20 minutes prior to restaurant close time per another server - still not mine).

I was expecting grilled corn on the cob. The flavors were bland. I will not order that again. Now, the Fajitas were on point! The pricing is comparable to other restaurants serving the same cuisine. I ordered them to be cooked medium rare. They were tender and flavorable. The best items were the Guacamole, the Steak Fajitas and that incredible drink. I had been thinking about that drink and the fajitas, hence my second trip. The first thing I noticed no diners were in the restaurant. It was about 6:45pm. The second thing was the sign stating the bar was closed and no alcoholic drinks could be served or sold. Seems the previous owner let them hold the liquor license for a few days. When I say by itself, I mean no rice, no beans, nothing!!!! Now I know some places try to make themselves stand out by doing things a little different, but how much could it hurt to have beans and rice with the tacos. Same thing with the burritos, they are supposed to be authentic because the beans are in the burrito and not on the side. I ordered the beans again and the time it was served in a bigger bowl. The shredded beef burrito was good, but it could have had a little more flavor. The red snapper burrito was delicious. The beans were good and in that much bigger bowl, I mentioned. The drink again was on point, but was served in a smaller glass. Not sure, I got the same amount of drink for the price. Overall, this place could be a great go to place for good drinks and food. I had the most terrible experience ever at Taco Mac this evening. I took my daughter to the restroom tonight at the Duluth Ga Taco Mac. As we walked up to the sink to wash her hands, a male Taco Mac employee bashed open the door as he puked all over the floor, my hand, and my daughters arm. He continued to puke into the trash can that sits below the paper towel dispenser as we walked out. I found a manager just outside of the bathroom and explained the incident, and proceeded to clean the puke off my daughter. A few minutes later, presumably after the manager found his employee barfing all over the bathroom and confirming that I am not making this shit up, he came to our table profusely apologizing for the incident etc. If it was just me at this restaurant, I would have left immediately and never returned for the rest of my life. Unfortunately we were hosting 11 guests, some from out of town and preferred to not make a scene (which we failed at). Unfortunately life didn't prepare me to go to a restaurant and have myself and my daughter barfed on by an employee. Apparently Taco Mac didn't prepare its managers for this situation either because all I got was the cost of my meal removed, leaving me to still pay for all drinks! Not to mention all of the 11 guests I brought had no discounts at all, even though they all had to hear about this disgusting situation. At this point, I'm just hoping the employee was hung over and didn't have the flu. Although, a quick glance a Taco Macs glassdoor page lets me know they don't offer any health insurance to their employees, so ill assume the worst. In regards to Taco Mac's health insurance, on glassdoor you see gems like: "You can get cheap tacos... but that's about it." "I got a pretty good employee discount with T.Mac. That was about it. No sick days, no bonuses, but very comparable to most part time jobs." "No perks, no 401k, no time off, no health benefits. Nothing. It's a restaurant. JESUS GLASSDOOR!" But don't believe me, go to glass door and look for yourself! came here around 9:50pm and there was few customer but not alot. when we enter the restaurant the employee does not welcome us even though she saw me walking and standing for the seat. after 5 min we ask "do you have seat for 4 people" and she like "hold on" and she doesnt even doing nothing just talking to her other server. after several min that employee tell us to seat at the bar table but we told her we want to seat on the table because one of our friend just had a surgery on left foot. and shes like then you guys have to wait 20min until we are going to have table i was like there was more than 20 empty table and we have to wait 20min til having a table? i dont know how taco mac train the employee but seems they are going to fail. that black employee are women with black glass are just rude! read more

Only stopped here because needed some food after going to the gym, most places in the suburbs close around 8 or 9 pm in these parts. I don't even know if I'd call this place even average. There is a location not too far from me that I don't bother to visit even on a good day, don't stop by here looking for anything fancy, this is going to be your standard fair, I really only recommend this place with larger parties and to watch a game. Looking for late night food, this will be one of your few options in town. read more

My son left his costa del mar sunglasses on the table. We came back 15 minutes later and they were gone and the manager was not interested in looking beyond questioning the waitress. I'm sure the busboy must be enjoying them right now. Very disappointed in the managers attempt to question staff. The sunglasses didn't walk out of the restaurant and I'm sure another patron didn't reach across a booth to grab some sunglasses. Once again, Taco Mac Duluth GA cares nothing about local community or local things that happen. Today is the start of High School Football. In GA that's a pretty big deal, but the goofy little bartender when asked to change a TV he informed me to find it myself on my phone then he would help. Did you know that your 20oz Brewniversity mug actually only holds 18oz? I discovered this fact when I purchased one of this month's promotional 18oz Miller Lite bottles and poured it into a mug. When challenged, the bartender sheepishly admitted that with the recent glassware change the mugs were reduced to 18oz. However, their web site still claims that they are 20oz. Oh, and the so called pint glasses no longer hold a pint. read more

I still use jar sauce at home, on occasion, so I'm not knocking it, but I was expecting a little more flavor than I got. I wouldn't get it as a side again - just a little bland for my taste. The lobster mash was good for a side, seasoned just right and with a decent amount of lobster meat. I would get that as a side again. Overall, it wasn't a bad meal. This is great transparency from their part as you can ensure they are making your wings correctly and cleanly too. For my first time here I went with a 30 count of wings with half lemon pepper and the other half extra spicy which came about to about $23, a great price for the quality of wings they serve you. All the wings have a nice crunch to them with every bite you take which is consistency I can't find at other wing spots I've tried. I would recommend going with their spiciest option for hot wings if you love them hot as their extra spicy was just missing the extra kick to make them perfect, but were still enjoyable nonetheless. It took about 10min from ordering my wings to receiving them and the cashier handed them straight to me in my table even though I ordered it to go. We also ordered French fries, but some of the potatoes had green spots on them. I understand restaurants may receive pre-cut potatoes, but those pieces should have been removed before serving. For my child, I ordered a hamburger. He is not a picky eater, but he only took about three bites before spitting it out and refusing to eat more. After seeing the fries, he did not want to try anything else. The burger bun was also burnt on top. The fried shrimp was another disappointment. It tasted like a basic store-bought product and did not have anything special about it. The one positive part of our visit was our waitress. She was very sweet, kind, and attentive, and we truly appreciated her service. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations, and we were disappointed with our first experience. This version sounds more like a fair customer review: it explains the problems but also acknowledges the good service.
