Always one of my favorite go to restaurants for wings and queso. The food is delicious and usually pretty consistent. I've tried many if not all the flavors and haven't really ever been disappointed. A hack is to order a wing sauce and dry rub mix like hot lemon pepper or mild sauce with chili mayo dry rub. This is definitely a great way to eat their wings. They have boneless, traditional, and roasted wings all are worth trying. They have some of the best sweet potato fries around and absolutely love their ranch. The buffalo ranch is a nice touch for those who like spicy foods like myself. Can't go wrong with Taco Mac the menu has a little bit for everyone: Tex Mex, wings, tenders, burgers, and more. Their queso is a favorite of many. The beer selection is wide and they also have the Brewniversity program. Had some time free so I made a pit stop for my preferred wing order. Roasted Korean Black Garlic wings with fries. Ordered a double and asked them to split the order in half and package half to go. Order was received quickly. Wings were good as always but the fries were well below par and soda was a little flat. Fries were between dry and chewy and seemed like they had been sitting for an extended period. Didn't bother asking them to replace the fries due to limited time free. Checked the to go order and fries were the same, only at least twice the order brought for the table order. Taco Mac has been one of our family's go to place for meal or too watch a sports event with friends. Here's why the Canton location gets only 2 Stars... The service was extremely too slow! Our server was none existent for the most part... Burger was luke-warm, broccoli was like apple sauce... microwaved! It was my daughter's birthday and we even brought a balloon for her chair and you would think the server would have noticed the gift bags & balloon and made an effort to recognize the event in some way! "Hey! Who's birthday is it? Something? Anyway I can't really fault the server 100% as I believe this lands squarely on there store manager. Lack of proper training and follow up with quest. We usually order takeout here, so I can't speak to the service other than that, but our meals have always been delicious, hot, and consistent. The portions are generous. What an interesting place. They have a good selection of wings, similar to Buffalo wild wings. Several beers on tap. Friendly staff that will make suggestions and bring samples of different beverages to you if you're not familiar with the brewery. The flavors are really good with the wings, this place is definitely a competitor to Wingstop, Buffalo wild wings, with more options when it comes to tacos and burgers. The food is typical barfood but a little better. Not amazing but that was not an expectation. It seems to be a Local favorite to order nachos with the chips on the side. My waitress was TIA and was very rude from beginning. My Margarita tasted like dishwater and my friends drinks were completely wrong. We then nicely told her they were wrong and she had an attitude for no reason. They tasted so bad we didn't even drink them. We then asked for the manager (TODD) and he then said it's "final sale". A group of us ate dinner at Taco Mac this evening. Our girls ordered two kids meals. On opening the rice crispy treats, one of the girls noticed that there was something not right. Turns out they were filled with worms! We Immediately told our waitress, who took them to the back to show her manager. Not once did the manager ever come out. There were a few tables around us with kids meals already on the table. We ended up taking it upon ourselves to let the parents know not to let the children eat the rice crispy treats and why. I understand that these are prepackaged treats and not from Taco Mac. But, the manager could've at least acknowledged the issue and warned the other tables of the problem at hand. Shame on you Taco Mac manager for not taking this matter seriously. You're lucky that our girl's were old enough to notice before they ate them. ***** Customers BEWARE***** Pay attention to your bill and how things are broken down and/or worded at Taco Mac! For a restaurant I frequent as often as I do, I have to say, I'm immensely shocked at what Taco Mac (1810 Cumming Highway, Canton, GA) is trying to pull on their customers. My family and I have visited this particular location, countless times. I'd say at least 100+ times (and that's low-balling) since opening. (The *Covid madness somewhat limited (8-10 times) our visits, the past year and half or so.) My daughter and I went this past Monday, the 7th. We ordered our usual, the double order of wings. The double order comes with 20 wings (celery/carrots). As we've done so many times, all the (10) flats for her, and all (10) drums for me. We each get different sauces. All was going well... Our waitress (Sam) was great! The service, the quality of the food, all great. Then the bill comes... This is where Houdini tries to pull off his illusion. According to the bill, I was charged for 2- single orders, not a double order. **Keep in mind: A single order is $12.99 (plus the .65 x2 up charge) for splitting flats/drums. The double order is $21.99 (w/the up-charge)** Upon mentioning this to the waitress, I was told this is how Taco Mac has to enter it in their system. Moving on... asked for and spoke with the manager. His explanation was pretty much the same, except he tried adding a little smoke. I was told, since she and I split flats and drums, it's Taco Mac's discretion, and they charge for 2 single orders, then add the .65 up charge per order. Our conversation went on for a while... I asked him if he stood behind Taco Mac's policy. He said, "YES!" I asked him to for a business card with his name, contact info etc. His response was, "I don't have a business card with my name etc.'" (Seemed odd that a manager of that caliber restaurant didn't have a business card.) So, I asked him if he would write down the information I asked for. Long story short... their general manager just happened to be there. He comes to our table... same explanation, more smoke. The more we discussed the issue, the more poor his attitude/disposition turned. Gotta love those who can't explain away one's crookedness. Once you corner them, they turn into a victim and act like you are the tyrant. The manager showed some weakness... (lacking eye contact, mixed with nervousness/unsureness), but even though he was jittery, he remained relatively calm and somewhat nice. The general manager on the other hand... he turned into an ass! Definitely not GM material! Especially with his disposition and grooming habits! In the end, the bogus bill was revised to what it should have been. They removed the almost $8 extra charge. The 2 star review is not due to our waitress/service, but rather for the way I was treated for calling them out on their dishonesty and crookedness. I was not leaving until my issue was resolved. While still sitting at the table, I called the number the manager provided me... It was a voicemail. 'Leave a message and someone will contact you within 48 hours.' What great customer service!! What they are doing is wrong! Some may not be worried about almost $8 extra on their bill, but I am. Just think and imagine how many they're doing this to. That adds up for Taco Mac!! It's scary to think customers who have had a few adult beverages... what they might be being charged. Taco Mac has been one of my/our favorite restaurants. This Taco Mac is by far the worst I have ever visited. Our wings took 50 minutes at a non peek time. The restaurant was empty and now I know why. Zack was terrible. Period. The manager thought a few desserts would keep my business, but it's not. I have included a picture of our dishes that were not taken until I asked him to clear the table. I love Taco Mac. This last visit here wasn't the best. I've been to this location a couple of times. Beer selection is great. My wife's choice on the just arrived list they didn't have. Our food was yummy but the wings and fries were cold! Our Philly was piping hot and awesome. I was confused. This was from same kitchen right? And it was a dead slow night. Waitress was great and offered to get new wings made. I declined not wanting to wait. I mean they tasted good and I knew the next ones would prob burn the taste right off my tongue so take forever to eat. Can't win so I eat the cold but still tasty wings! I enjoy Taco Mac but if you have any covid-19 concerns, I would stay away as their PPE use is extremely inconsistent. For the most part, food everyone wears the masks with their nose exposed and only their mouths covered. When i was leaving I asked two managers about it who just shrugged and essentially blew me off. I am not overly concerned about Covid myself, but if you are going to tout the use of PPE or say that you are taking on 'best practices', you should do so. read more

I've never been a huge fan of this Taco Mac which is a bummer because the service is so friendly, but the kitchen seems to suffer every time we visit. This time we ordered HOT Buffalo wings because we like spicy. They weren't spicy at all when we even asked the waitress how hot they were she said 'very.' Not spicy at all. We also got a Buffalo chicken sandwich. In the picture it looks very red like the batter had spices in it or it was tossed in sauce at the end. Instead when it came out it was just barely drizzled with Buffalo sauce, but at least this was a little spicy. Ordered a Vodka gimlet and it came with straight lime juice and no sweetener, sent it back for a vodka cranberry. Tatie tots weren't cooked about. Monday afternoon with family of 8, age ranges 10 to adults. Everyone enjoyed pretzel bites app and chips/cheese stuff. My entre Buffalo Chicken grilled sandwich was very good with Broc for side. All enjoyed their meals. Wait staff was attentive, polite and professional. Comfortable place with many TVs showing various sports is good. Many, many taps of beer. Horrible customer service. I arrived with a friend and my dog. My friend went inside to ask the wait time and to get a table. She was told it would be 15mins. As she was doing that I asked a waiter outside.. could I sit on the patio/table and wait for a table to become available with my dog. He said no problem have a set at any of the 8 available empty tables. MARTY the Manager on duty told us we couldn't seat on the patio in a empty table because it would confuse the servers when are table became available. How? MARTY expected our to wait outside with a dog even though more then half the patio tables were available. When I tried to respectfully try to confirm that she understood what I was asking which was to basically sit with my dog.. she displayed a horrible attitude and dismissiveness behavior. Place used to be a good place to get a decent meal for a decent price, the wings were good size and the deals were proper where you could still buy an appetizer. That was 5 to 6 years ago, to do the wings are the smallest I've ever seen, but the prices of continually gone up, They've added some variety for the portions haven't really changed much to justify the continuing up heave of the prices. All this is unfortunate because the wait staff is usually on par and I think this is going to affect their tips as much is the attendance of Of customers, something drastic will have to change before I make a another trip. read more

From Kenny's daughter as the "Hostess with the Mostest", to Karen, Kraz, Allie, and Jess behind the bar, to Amber, Bri, Dayton, Sean and Brooke on the floor, to Brandon and Brad in the kitchen, to Ryan Turner (aka Big Ryan) making his rounds talking to guests and sharing his awesome sense of humor with us, we love everything about it!! Wait times are rarely long for a table or booth, any night of the week, and, once seated, the wait time for food is rarely bad either. And on the nights we may have to wait for either, it's nice to be able to just sit back and catch up with friends, watch the games, and enjoy a frosty beverage or two while we wait. No refills, never checked if we needed anything, which we obviously did. I understand that good help is hard to find but attending to basic needs of customers isn't that hard.
