When you order some wings, bone or boneless, you want them to be sauced. It is not hard to sauce wings, having worked in a few restaurants in my life saucing wings is not hard, just make sure the wings are covered, that's it. I don't know what has happened to this Mac but it went from being great to absolute trash. The service was why I had originally stopped going to this location, I went in one afternoon when there was hardly anyone there and the hostesses gave no mind to me. When I mentioned I was there to pick up I was greeted with an eye roll and when I said the name for the order and they told me it would be a bit and went back to talking about their vacation plans, when I looked there was a bag with my name on it and so I said excuse me but that's my order and once again the college girl eye roll and off I went. I told myself I wouldn't go back but when it's been a long day why take a chance with a place that is good when you can roll the dice and get let down a second time. They said we needed to pay the difference to pickup the wings and pay full menu price. We refused to pay extra and demanded a refund. No one bothered to contact us before we drove there to tell us there was as an error. Horrible customer service not to honor the price we had already paid online. The energy was contagious! College football games were playing on no less than 30 flatscreen tvs, and everyone was watching with bated breath! I ordered the delicious Silver Comet burger with light jalapeños and the mouth watering Brussel sprouts. While the food was being prepared, I took a quick moment to read a few Bible verses and give thanks for all that God has graced me with. While I was deep in prayer, a very lovely server, Kate, (who has a great complexion), presented my order. The basket called to me! The burger glistened with succulent juices, fresh guacamole, within a fresh flour tortilla! The flash fried Brussel sprouts coated with a honey drizzle taunted my taste buds from a few inches away! I tried to resist, but my efforts were futile! I grasped the warm wrap with both hands and thrust it deep into my mouth! It was almost too much. I gulped all of it without hesitation. It filled every ounce of my mouth and squirted all over my tastebuds. I couldn't stop it.! Within seconds I knew something was awry. There was an explosion of heat that filled my mouth. It became more intense with every breath! I quickly turned my attention to the contents of the burger and removed 72 jalapeños from within the toasted tortilla. i have never had a problem with this restaurant but oh my god i will never be going back here. i placed a to go order at 5:30pm to be picked up at 6:15, i arrived to pick it up at 6:10 and the hostess said it wasn't ready yet and i said "no problem i know im a few minutes early" at 6:15 she looked again and it still wasn't ready, she said the kitchen was "really slow tonight" and "the manager won't let us go back and look at the tickets because she says it's annoying", okay still not the end of the world but i have to be somewhere with the food at 6:30 so getting kind of nervous. manager comes out at 6:30 when my food is still not ready and asks me for my name (this will be the fourth time that i've been asked if i placed it at the right location and if im sure about the name) and then she comes back and tells me that it was cancelled. so it's now 6:40, thirty minutes after i arrived to pick up my order, and not only did i sit around waiting for food that i never got, but the manager was acting like i had done something wrong when placing my order! best part of the whole thing is i have the receipt and order confirmation number and was still charged. This was my first time ordering delivery from this restaurant. I ordered directly from the store website. I was completely upset when I learned (after placing my order) that it would be delivered through DoorDash. It doesn't say anywhere on their site that they deliver through DoorDash. My order was picked up from the store at 8:08 and arrived to me at 8:44. I was less than 6 miles from the store. Needless to say, my food arrived cold!! Went to grab some wings with my brother and some friends. There was a 25 minute wait which didn't make sense given they weren't that busy (unless staffing was an issue). Once we got seated though we got drinks and initial service pretty quickly. However, the rest of the service was sub-par. Took us 40 mins to get our food and our server never checked in with us except to refill our waters once - then once after the food had arrived to ask how it was and if we wanted our checks. The food came out good so that is the reason for the 3 stars and not 1. This location is at least consistent on their food preparation (cooked right, sauces right, orders come out correct) but service remains an issue. The site "forced" me to customize the salads, which didn't need customizing. So, we decided to add extra bacon @ $2.00 per salad. But the icing on the cake, was that the waiter delivered our food, drinks, etc CHEWING ON A TOOTHPICK during the delivery and service of our table. Disgusting and highly unhygienic! Was not expecting 3 Michelin stars, but I couldn't understand a word the waitress was saying. The chips with the trio dip were stale tasting, so we asked for heated chips as a replacement. The Brussels sprouts were like crispy tissue paper - very bland. Guacamole was filled with large chunks, and not blended well at all. The salmon was a little crispy around the edges. The chicken tinga tacos. on the other hand, were quite good. Today was a complete disaster for your company from a customer service standpoint. We tried placing orders through the website (as advertised in your National Wing Day promotion) and we were allowed to get all the way through the ordering process, choose a time and then we received a message that they were "currently not accepting online orders". Huh? That was what you were advertising. We tried calling your location to inquire about the online ordering and would have been happy to order and pay for things over the phone but of course no one was answering the phone. You need to do something to make this right for all of the disenfranchised customers, as I'm sure we were not the only ones that were forced to look at other options for dinner tonight. My friend and I frequent this location very often and always have a good experience. When possible, we ask for Brittneys section because she is awesome and always gives great service! I almost always eat the same thing- chicken fingers, which are hand breaded and served piping hot. The fries are really good too. French Fries are so underrated, but I do enjoy a good French fry- dipped in honey mustard is my favorite. I was totally surprised when I walked in the door. Tons of big tvs on the walls all playing something different, neon signs everywhere. Love-hate relationship. I wouldn't say this location is bad, they're just VERY inconsistent. Sometimes it's extremely fresh, quality food with good service, sometimes with bad service or it's really good service but mediocre food & the unfortunate instance of really bad food & service... you get the gist. I've always loved Tmac- it's almost a nostalgia thing for this area- but it's definitely a hit or miss nowadays. The wing flavors and beer selection are my favorite thing about this place. A lot of times a nice draft beer can fix food that's not the best and sometimes it just can't. I definitely have always enjoyed their servers and they typically are really attentive & on top of it. The only time this isn't true is when you show up during a huge rush & they're either understaffed or having to juggle a million tables. Quality service goes a long way for me, but I definitely would like to see more consistency out of this location. I really appreciate their menu & new additions they have, they try to keep things fun & whatnot. This Taco Mac gets a lot of flack about their crappy food and service. But I actually like this place. I've always had great service, but I've always sat the bar. I know that the food is going to be crappy because it is mostly a bar and not a restaurant in my opinion; so I usually just order and appetizer if I do get anything to eat. I love this Taco Mac and others because of their vast selection of draft beers and the fact they have a beer club that you can "advance" in as you try different beers; this really opens you up as a beer lover. If you like your beer warm, your chips stale and your fish extra crispy, then you might like this place. Haven't been in there in a really long time and thought we might give them a second chance after our last so-so visit. Big mistake! Menu has been reduced to almost nothing. For my wife's first choice, they were out of Honey mustard dressing. For her second choice, "I'm sorry ma'am, our burgers are only cooked one way." Her third choice was to have Fish and Chip's like me. The Cod was very over cooked and extremely crunchy. French fries could have definitely been better. I like my Sweetwater 420 beer ice cold, not bathwater warm. Giving the benefit of a doubt that it may have been a fresh glass out of the dishwasher that warmed the beer, I ordered a second one. Left half of it sitting there! One of the other male servers had shoulder length hair. As he was coming out of the kitchen, a female server was following him and fluffing his hair for him! Aren't hair nets a thing anymore or is it ok to let hair fly loose into someone's food? What appeared to be the Kitchen Manager had his facial hair secured with a rubber band. Saw several managers walking around, but not engaging with any customers at all. The only thing positive about our visit was our server. He was very apologetic about the circumstances and did his best considering what he had to work with and what was going on around him.
