This Taco Shop is a beacon of light at the end of the street of closed up businesses as they are turning out some delicious food that is such a positive for the surrounding area! Legit tacos are like comfort food to me and that is hard to find in a lot of places across the country I know because I've traveled/lived in wayy too many places! So first off I was stoked to see they have a California burrito on the menu but I was disappointed when I read what was in it as a true California Burrito has French fries in it I grew up in Southern California so those are like some of my favorite burritos ever! Even though I was disappointed in the burrito I went for the Birria tacos and let me say those didn't disappoint as they were super flavorful and just hit the spot on soo many levels they were perfect to dunk into the consome which also had a really rich flavor just adding that much more zest to something that was already yummy and to add just that much more I added some of their delicious salsa's on top to make them that much more amazing and let me say they are doing the Birria right in soo many ways! They also have Mexican Coke here which is my favorite as it just has a better taste than the American version! All the staff was super cool and friendly from start to finish which is always a pleasure because that's just the way everyone should be cool to eachother! Found a place on yelp driving by Glens Falls from the Adirondacks. They were open on Labor Day. Know that there is construction on their street and parking is limited but manageable. Unfortunately, the parking lot next to their restaurant is not theirs. I ordered a California burrito without meat. Their hot sauce is seriously spicy and delicious: staff was very kind. They were slow so I ordered at the counter and ate at a table next-door, which was fine buy them, but they would have served had I asked. Consistently good and authentic Mexican food in a casual setting with traditional Mexican decor and hand painted murals. I come here A LOT with my family as we all enjoy their food so much with a Mexican Coke or mango or guava Jarritos. They have THE BEST Birria Tacos! Meat so tender, consomé flavor is perfect and they crisp up the corn tortillas just right, as well as serve them properly with the right amount of limes, cilantro and onions. Once you come here you won't want to go anywhere else for Birria tacos. Same staff always working and they are so nice and always seem appreciative of our patronage. We usually order everything at the counter, then find a table and sit down for dine in service. If you want to sit first to have a look at the menu and order with a server for more traditional service they do that too and will serve chips with salsa that's not too spicy while you wait a short while for your order to be prepared. Street parking can be tricky to find close by so you may have to walk just a little bit, but their food is so worth it! read more

My family ate here on a trip to the Lake George region and enjoyed the food and warm hospitality of the staff. We had carnitas tacos, Al pastor tacos, and a chicken enchilada. All had a very fresh and homemade taste. Nice to have a lot of fresh cilantro in it. We also tried the Mexican coffee for the first time and enjoyed it along with a slice of tres leches cake. The dine-in area is a bit narrow but comfortable, well lit, and colorful. read more

The food was good today at Taco Kings. For 30$ we each had tacos and a coke which is pretty reasonable considering what other restaurants charge. The staff were very friendly and took the time to make sure the place is clean. Next time I want to try the beef enchiladas. read more

Great little spot in a wonderfully walkable town. Owners were welcoming and checked on if we were enjoying our meal which we definitely were! We tried the nachos with guacamole and salsa, pork burrito, and chicken tacos. All were made with care and great ingredients. Place was bright and clean. Open kitchen with grill so you can watch the magic unfolding. This place does a brisk takeout business for good reason. The food is fresh and flavorful. These tacos were top in my book. It's a shame we live so far away but we do return frequently and hope to continue coming here. My tacos Al pastor were perfectly assembled and the pork and pineapple were so tender but perfectly crispy and caramelized at the same time.. They kiss their Gordita with a seal of cheddar cheese that adds a perfect crunchy cheesy touch to every bite. The shrimp was properly cooked while still moist and plump, it was nice to bite into it. I was really pleased and for a few minutes it made me feel back in Texas. We ordered takeout on a recommendation. Ordered Shrimp Tacos and a Chicken Enchilada. 3 tacos w delicious tender shrimp, pickled red onions, cilantro and pico de gallo. Absolute best tacos within a 60 mile radius. One of the more disappointing things about leaving NYC was losing great taco joints like El Bronco or Los Tacos No. 1, but this scratches that itch wonderfully. More authentic than gringo, I can see myself becoming a regular. We had the Al Pastor and Birria tacos which were both delicious.
