The side of rice tasted burnt, and they charged me extra cause I didn't want rice in my burrito.. weird right ?? Reason is cause they said "they have to fill the burrito " Makes absolutely so sense. My new favorite taco place! Came here today on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. Their staff was so friendly and welcoming. Sarah greeted me as if I were an old friend and anticipated all of my needs before I could even articulate them! As I got settled at my table, she brought me a cup of water. I have never experienced this type of service in my life! Not having to ask for a cup of water seems small, but it made my day. The cooks in the kitchen were also having a grand ol' time, singing, laughing, and joking with each other. I felt like I was at a family gathering. If I could give this place six stars, I would. Their fish tacos are amazing! The fish is so crispy and fresh. Instead of the traditional cream sauce, Taco Grills opts for a chipotle sauce, which I loved. It was an excellent balance of spice, cream, and zest. My tacos also came with complimentary chips! Not sure what kind of chips they were, but they seemed fried. They were super crunchy! I tried both of their salsas (hot - red, mild - green) and they were both really good. Beware though, the hot salsa is really hot. I could only handle a little bit at a time (more specifically, I could only handle dipping a small corner of my chip in, LOL). The green one, I chowed through! This is a long overdue review but here it is. So this is now called Taco Girl...but pretty much the same great food I grew to love for years. I used to work around this area and would come here at least 2x a week for the taco bowls. I joked with the owner before if I can get the recipe for carne asada because the taste is so bomb, he had to tell me it's a trade secret and can't give it. I then told him now I gotta keep going here just for the bowls lol. The new owner is the daughter which is as welcoming and nice as her dad. I had a conversation with her and told her that I left my job near this area in 2015 so I was not coming in anymore. Surprisingly she remembered I was a regular. The owner is gorgeous and I had a crush on her ever since I saw her and I visited this place. So that was a plus when I see her and I get to have my taco bowl. My weekdays are complete! I wanted to let her know when I visited 3 days ago about me having a crush on her for the longest time but I get awkward around gorgeous women so I didn't ‍...because I still want to get some tacos here haha. It's been years but geez she looks beautiful as ever. Hopefully she doesn't read reviews here...because it will be awkward for me to see her when I do decide to get some tacos again‍. Let's get back to the review dammit hahah I was so happy for her continuing this business because they sell top notch products here and customer service is awesome. I got the Soft Taco Plate and it really didn't disappoint! The meat was nice and tender with plenty of flavor and I thought the portion size was just right. We were visiting family this week and they highly recommend Taco Grill said it was fantastic food and service they said they have known the manager for a while and they said the Cook, is very friendly and so is the girl at the register. The cashier and cook seemed to be very nice, and friendly but upon walking into the restaurant we see I believe the owner, kissing some guy (I'm assuming boyfriend) in the middle of the restaurant right in front of the register. Based on other reviews, we chose two Wet Burritos, both with chicken. They were out of red salsa, but made a fresh batch when my partner ordered it. I had green salsa. I visited Taco Grill for the first time today. My boyfriend and his family have frequented this restaurant for years, so today I tried it. I'm usually picky about Mexican food, being that I am Mexican and have high standards for the food of my people! And I gotta say this place was quite delicious. I ordered a shredded beef burrito with everything on it (I believe it comes with beans, rice, cilantro, onion, guacamole sauce, & your choice of meat). It was soooo good, I wanted another one. I also stole a carne asada taco from my bf. The both meats were flavorful and had no fat (I hate when meat has fat in it!) AND the carne asada is advertised as organic. Pleasant surprise! The beans are not refried with lard, which is also a huge plus! The burrito was no overly greasy and didn't feel super unhealthy, and the tacos were the same. Sometimes at Mexican restaurants, the greasiness or unhealthiness of the food prevents me from enjoying my meal to my fullest capacity. But this was a good balance of fresh yet still tasty. The burrito hit the spot but I also did not resent myself for consuming a ton of calories. Every meal comes with a little bunch of tortilla chips and salsa. They did a good job of making it safe for customers to order amidst COVID-19. No one is allowed inside and they installed a plastic partition to separate the customers from the person taking the order. There's no outside seating so it's all take-home orders. The food was so good that I'm planning to go back this weekend (it's currently Wednesday). I waited about 25 minutes but my bf and I just walked around the empty shopping center talking about life and imagining how good our food was about to be. read more

COVID-19 alert Owner/manager (female) was not wearing mask wile handling food and in a very small location with employees. Read review Today was probably the worst day at this location, once again my order was wrong but I figured out what the issue is and it's definitely management. There customer service is the worst, I call this location back today and let them know they had gotten my order wrong and I was told " you ordered it wrong", mine you this is the owner (or manager speaking, female). When she finally agreed to get me my food the way I would like it I asked how long will it be, so I could time my drive back, her response was " I told you right now". I don't think I need to go further on how wrong this phone conversation was. Once I arrived at there location I was shocked that she continued to argue over past experiences at this location saying the "containers are faulty". Then put up 3 then four fingers wile telling me like a child "that's how many bad experiences you've had here. Wile she's saying all this I notice she is not wearing a mask in this small Restrant around her employees wile handing food and working !!! I at that moment I walked away because it was obvious that if she didn't care to wear a mask wile handling food during COVID the other issue are bound to follow. I wouldn't recommend this location at all until management or ownership has made major changes. This will be the last time I come to this location. I found this place reading reviews because I was undecided on what to get to eat, I gave them a try, (During Covid) They took all procedures for a safe and successful order. I ordered the wet burrito and right away the only thing that turned me off was the price 11.99, I would never pay that price again for a wet burrito, But on a good note, I do gotta say that their burrito was very delicious ! Had full flavors and I tasted about everything in it down to the different sauces. It's a well sized portion and it was still hot because of the sealed tray they put it in. Other than my meal I received 2 green and 2 red sauces to go along with utensils, napkins and can't forget a small bag of chips to swim in my sauces after the burrito is done. Yesterday I was in this area and decided to get tacos from here since my first experience was great. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with this visit. The female cashier was nice but the gentleman in the back was extremely rude. When we came in, we didn't realize the door did not close all the way. He comes out huffing and puffing and makes it very well known that he had to close the door and was not happy about it. All they had to ask was can you get the door and I would have realized it gets stuck and closed it. It didn't make a good impression. Then when we got our food my hands were full along with my child's. I saw the door got stuck again and as I went to place the food on my car to go back and close the door, the gentleman came out again and made it known he had to close the door again. After that, I was like I won't be back. It is such a disappointment after being treated so kindly by the owner the first time. When we got home, the food definitely didn't taste like the first time either. It was just an unpleasant experience and I will spend my money elsewhere.
