We been coming to Taco Delite for probably more than 15 years. All the bad reviews that I read, were during Covid. Our personal experience here is; it's a must stop by and eat! It probably only deserves four stars, however for what it is, old style taco place, it deserves five stars! The sauce is always fresh and amazing, while the service here is reasonably fast. We've never had a bad experience here, everything is always come out as Ordered, hot and fresh! Their combo burrito is what I was referred to as a Sancho... it is exceptionally good! Their taco salad is probably the only one we have (anywhere), that's worth what they charge for taco salads. It's loaded with meat, beans, guacamole, sour cream in a great crispy shell with just the right amount of lettuce! More than enough for one. If you're driving through Princeton, this is a must stop and try, if you like the way fast food Mexican used to be! read more

This is an institution in Princeton! I've eaten there for almost 25 years...that's how long I've been in Texas! The tea!! If you love sweet Texas tea, this place is for you! I get a jumbo, easy ice! My suggestion if you go through the drive thru, check your order before leaving the window. The teenagers get confused from time to time. read more

The queso wasn't very good here. But the other food was ok. I wish I could give it a 3.5 but I'll just round up. People seemed nice. I didn't go inside, only used the drive though. Not much to complain about when it comes to tacos. Kind of hard to mess up a taco. Sometimes they are hit or miss on the beef tacos. Just ask for juiciness on the taco. The beef can be a little dry. Worst food I've ever tasted! The chicken in the chicken taquitos was dark brown along with the tortillas it was in. One but tells you it was burnt. It was not worthy of eating. The enchirto was microwaved, right in front of us. After reading the posted reviews, either these people are related to the business or they have no concept of understanding of good food. I tried this place but the food didn't taste really good to me. I wanted to give it a try but it just really wasn't for me unfortunately

Got a soft taco and a fajita. Bland. Gross meat with no flavor. Stomach felt weird after eating. First and last time if be going there.

We do not have Taco Delite's where I live, so we stop in here whenever we visit. We have a few things that we've been getting for years, but my favorite thing are the tacos. They are always crispy and fresh. It doesn't have beef that is dripping with grease to make it soggy. Actually, I don't think there is any grease. I love the salsa in the little cups. I tried this place since a lot of my friends recommended it to me saying their tacos are to die for. I tried it and It was amazing. I also ordered some nachos. Hint: Ask sauce on side. Since it was my first time there, I didn't know any better. But it caused the chips to get soggy. Overall, it was a good experience. We ate here on Dec 26th ... had to search for a table clean enough to sit down to eat ... told them about the issue and we were there another 15-20 minutes to finish our meal and no tables were wiped clean while we were there.... the floor also had dropped food on it that had not been cleaned up ..... just got our charge bill and it posted twice for a horrible experience. On our way out of town went thru the drive thru. After leaving we noticed we were missing a burrito, so I called. I have them my order number and she recited my order. I told her what I was missing, one super burrito. She took my name and number and said the manager would call me back. He did and proceeded to say that he watched the video and all food was made. I said ok well did it get put into another bag/order? He questioned what I was missing again and repeated that all good was made for the order. Really ? So I said nevermind thanks and hung up! My last visit was about a month ago when I was waiting on line and an employee whom was on her phone and with papers on her hand, just jumped in front of the mgr. on the line where they make the orders, and started grabbing bunches of chips with her bare hands! I couldn't help to ask her: "why are you touching the food with your bare hands?" She gave me the "who are you" look and said: these are for me! Ok, so you're going to contaminate everyone else's food because you choose to be unsanitary to prepare the 4 nacho orders that you're taking home??? When I tried to address it with "Junior" "the manager" he acted like that was normal. So it's more than obvious they have no sense of health code violations and more than likely no one in there had their license to prepare/serve food. They were also using foam cups as scoop for the rice, which is common sense that if it breaks you're going to be eating small pieces or even particles of foam and you might not notice it! This place is ran by mostly kids who get to wear whatever they want, their hair down, gloves or no gloves.... who cares right? Very scary! I walked out and went to Taco Bell... WORLD OF DIFFERENCE! Yes the taste is different but I rather know that if I go through DT they will do a much cleaner job even when I'm not standing in front of the counter! read more
