Amazing burritos, amazing customer service, ambiance is a little sketchy but this is absolutely a must have, way better than Taco Bell. Insanely slept on I never see it busy but it's absolute worth eating at. read more

Fast and easy to get around the area. Best tea in texas. Clean and not crowded. All food is fresh

Good food at an unassuming building. Great salsa, homemade. Affordable, breakfasts are great. Nice staff.

We been coming to Taco Delite for probably more than 15 years. All the bad reviews that I read, were during Covid. Our personal experience here is; it's a must stop by and eat! It probably only deserves four stars, however for what it is, old style taco place, it deserves five stars! The sauce is always fresh and amazing, while the service here is reasonably fast. We've never had a bad experience here, everything is always come out as Ordered, hot and fresh! Their combo burrito is what I was referred to as a Sancho... it is exceptionally good! Their taco salad is probably the only one we have (anywhere), that's worth what they charge for taco salads. It's loaded with meat, beans, guacamole, sour cream in a great crispy shell with just the right amount of lettuce! More than enough for one. If you're driving through Princeton, this is a must stop and try, if you like the way fast food Mexican used to be! read more

See all

Always friendly, good service. Never got a bad taco burrito from this place and I come here often. Just wish they would have a taco Tuesday like everyone else. read more

I ate there tonight and finally they had taken their grade from a C to an A from the city ! The staff is really nice , the food is fairly priced and the menu is pretty varied! Sorry no pictures but I will try to get some for a future visit! read more

This is an institution in Princeton! I've eaten there for almost 25 years...that's how long I've been in Texas! The tea!! If you love sweet Texas tea, this place is for you! I get a jumbo, easy ice! My suggestion if you go through the drive thru, check your order before leaving the window. The teenagers get confused from time to time. read more

Not much to complain about when it comes to tacos. Kind of hard to mess up a taco. Sometimes they are hit or miss on the beef tacos. Just ask for juiciness on the taco. The beef can be a little dry. Friendly service every time. The homemade sauce is probably the best I've ever had. Not bland, just the right amount of spice and consistency. read more

Worst food I've ever tasted! The chicken in the chicken taquitos was dark brown along with the tortillas it was in. One but tells you it was burnt. It was not worthy of eating. The enchirto was microwaved, right in front of us. After reading the posted reviews, either these people are related to the business or they have no concept of understanding of good food. Don't waste your time or money go down the street to much better food. read more

Taco Delite - Chicken taquitos - Mexican Near Me - Princeton, Texas

The queso wasn't very good here. But the other food was ok. I wish I could give it a 3.5 but I'll just round up. People seemed nice. I didn't go inside, only used the drive though. They need to update the pricing on their site. When they rang me up it was almost double what I was expecting. read more

I tried this place but the food didn't taste really good to me. I wanted to give it a try but it just really wasn't for me unfortunately

Got a soft taco and a fajita. Bland. Gross meat with no flavor. Stomach felt weird after eating. First and last time if be going there.

Luv it! Been coming to this place for 20 yrs. Have to have my breakfast taco & Lg DP ever Saturday & Sunday!

Best chicken nachos on the planet! Grew up on this place love it forever and ever! Come back every few years!

This place is SO good. I tried their cheese enchilada plate, and it was awesome. It was really filling, and all for under $6! They have fresh salsa, which is so good, and their taco sauce packets are really good as well. I tried their soft chicken taco, and the chicken was very flavorful. So happy I found this place! read more

Great chicken nachos and chips and salsa was awesome. Tacos with ground beef was perfect. Salsa had a little kick but it was great.

My go to for quick breakfast tacos/burritos in the mornings. Fast service and homemade sauce is great.

The only thing I really get here are the chicken burritos, they're great! Love their homemade Alaska.

Quick and decent Mexican food! The chicken salad never disappoints and the fresh salsa is amazing. Only issue I have is that they almost always get my order wrong when I go through the drive-thru so be sure to check your order before leaving! read more

We've eaten here for years!! Best place in Princeton to grab your fast Mexican food fix!! The Super Nachos are the BEST bang for your buck!! Good luck finishing the whole order!! Tacos and burritos are good, breakfast ones as well. And if you are a sweet tea drinker, you'll wanna get the Jumbo!! It's always fresh!!! Check'em out!! read more

Used to be my favorite place to eat until they got new workers. The new workers are rude as hell, will always get your order wrong, and will flat out ignore you and close the window in your face! read more

If I want fresh beans and cheese in a tortilla, I'm running fast to Taco Delight. It's the price of Taco Bell but REAL and FRESH and GOOD! I love their tortillas and they have their own homemade sauce to pour on everything!!! And when I ask for extra sour cream they do not disappoint! read more

Its ok i usually get the but the salsa never dissapoints me, get the one they make fresh and the sweet tea hits the spot, honestly my stepdad could eat here everyday since he works close by read more

BS! I pull up at 9:45, at the drive through, when they close at 10:00, and the very disrespectful woman, named Rachel, working the speaker has the nerve to tell me they are closed. BS, THE WEBSITE SAYS 10:00, if you have lazy employees that want to leave early then please put a disclaimer on your website for people with hungry kids!!! read more

We do not have Taco Delite's where I live, so we stop in here whenever we visit. We have a few things that we've been getting for years, but my favorite thing are the tacos. They are always crispy and fresh. It doesn't have beef that is dripping with grease to make it soggy. Actually, I don't think there is any grease. I love the salsa in the little cups. Great flavor! read more

Better than taco bell but not much. Service was fast and drive thru makes it easy. Salsa was a little bland. Prices were really good.

Why cant we get a TACO DELITE in MCKINNEY, preferably east side of Central Expressway where all of the other restaurant row is set up? I love T D but we have to go to either Princeton or Plano to eat there? McKinney needs this over o n U S 380 restaurant row somewhere...please! read more

I love going to this location! Taco Delite, in general, runs circles around other taco joints, and this one doesn't disappoint. Added bonus.. The cute chickens you can watch out the window that run around on the property next door! read more

I tried this place since a lot of my friends recommended it to me saying their tacos are to die for. I tried it and It was amazing. I also ordered some nachos. Hint: Ask sauce on side. Since it was my first time there, I didn't know any better. But it caused the chips to get soggy. Overall, it was a good experience. I'll come here and order again if I pass by Princeton again. read more

Love taco delight! Super nachos are to die for and the breakfast burritos are awesome! Tacos are always fresh no grease & the best sweet tea around!! read more

We ate here on Dec 26th ... had to search for a table clean enough to sit down to eat ... told them about the issue and we were there another 15-20 minutes to finish our meal and no tables were wiped clean while we were there.... the floor also had dropped food on it that had not been cleaned up ..... just got our charge bill and it posted twice for a horrible experience. We will never again eat at this location read more

On our way out of town went thru the drive thru. After leaving we noticed we were missing a burrito, so I called. I have them my order number and she recited my order. I told her what I was missing, one super burrito. She took my name and number and said the manager would call me back. He did and proceeded to say that he watched the video and all food was made. I said ok well did it get put into another bag/order? He questioned what I was missing again and repeated that all good was made for the order. Really ? So I said nevermind thanks and hung up! Won't be going there again. It's not about the $2.59 burrito it's about the inconvenience of missing someone's food! read more

My last visit was about a month ago when I was waiting on line and an employee whom was on her phone and with papers on her hand, just jumped in front of the mgr. on the line where they make the orders, and started grabbing bunches of chips with her bare hands! I couldn't help to ask her: "why are you touching the food with your bare hands?" She gave me the "who are you" look and said: these are for me! Ok, so you're going to contaminate everyone else's food because you choose to be unsanitary to prepare the 4 nacho orders that you're taking home??? When I tried to address it with "Junior" "the manager" he acted like that was normal. So it's more than obvious they have no sense of health code violations and more than likely no one in there had their license to prepare/serve food. They were also using foam cups as scoop for the rice, which is common sense that if it breaks you're going to be eating small pieces or even particles of foam and you might not notice it! This place is ran by mostly kids who get to wear whatever they want, their hair down, gloves or no gloves.... who cares right? Very scary! I walked out and went to Taco Bell... WORLD OF DIFFERENCE! Yes the taste is different but I rather know that if I go through DT they will do a much cleaner job even when I'm not standing in front of the counter! read more
