My husband and I visited Rivera's in Princeton for the first time, and unfortunately, it wasn't a great first impression. My husband's meal was good, but mine was served so cold that it was inedible. The cheese wasn't even melted, making it seem like it hadn't been cooked long enough. My husband's plate was hot to the touch, mine was cold. I politely brought it to our server's attention, but the service wasn't very attentive, and the only resolution offered was a 10% discount on my entrée. Since I couldn't eat the meal, that didn't feel like an appropriate response. We understand that every restaurant can have an off day, but between the cold food, lackluster service, and the way the issue was handled, it was a disappointing experience. Sadly, our first visit will also be our last. We won't be back. read more

I have now tried 3 Riveras locations and the food has consistently been delicious. The beef portions (fajitas) had been remarcably tender and moist. We keep trying different entrees and have yet to be disappointed. Prices aren't bad either ! read more

We waited at the front of the restaurant for about 5 to 10 minutes waiting on everyone just come see us and or even acknowledge us. They brought out the queso without any chips or hot sauce. And we waiting on chips for the queso for about another five minutes. Once everything came out it was pretty good, but initially it was not that great as far as service and hospitality. read more

We've been here twice. The chips and salsa are really good. I ordered nachos the second time and I enjoyed them. The service was lacking both times, but the food was the saving grace from keeping me giving them 2 stars. I came here with my cousin for the first time and was delighted to find out they had live music playing! Music was a little loud for conversation however it was easy to enjoy and I loved the energy. Our service was great considering the tables quickly filled with families and the two women on staff did great and answered all of my questions about the menu. honestly the best food for a very decent price. quantity is a lot and the quality is super good. service CAN be slow if you go during busy hours but the waitress is always super friendly and gives good recommendations. we come here very frequently with our child and baby, it is very family friendly. they offer a kids menu and high chairs. highly recommend you try! read more

I've been here about 3 times and each time was good. Food and Drink are excellent including the guacamole. Took my wife and mom here for Mother's Day Lunch recently and we had a wonderful time. From the outside it looks like a place that you probably wouldn't want to eat at. But looks can be deceiving. Loved everything we ordered. Looks like it was all made fresh. Delicious chips and salsa. One of the best plates of food I've ever had. Ordered the chipotle chicken zucchini dinner. Absolutely delicious. Every thing was fresh and made from scratch. Tons of street parking. Clean interior. We actually walked from home just to get out a little longer. Got flautas w rice and beans, large guac and a side of beans. Called before we left the house and it was ready when we got there. Restaurant was spotless and quiet. We obviously weren't the only ones doing take-out, there were a few coming and going. Everything was great, rice could use a little spice to it.
