We waited at the front of the restaurant for about 5 to 10 minutes waiting on everyone just come see us and or even acknowledge us. They brought out the queso without any chips or hot sauce. And we waiting on chips for the queso for about another five minutes. Once everything came out it was pretty good, but initially it was not that great as far as service and hospitality. read more

We've been here twice. The chips and salsa are really good. I ordered nachos the second time and I enjoyed them. The service was lacking both times, but the food was the saving grace from keeping me giving them 2 stars. My hub didn't like the chicken enchilada, said the sour cream sauce was not good, not tangy, just bad. read more

This is an amazing and very authentic plate of food, with a staff that is honestly happy to see you and proud when you say you enjoyed their cooking. I came here with my cousin for the first time and was delighted to find out they had live music playing! Music was a little loud for conversation however it was easy to enjoy and I loved the energy. Our service was great considering the tables quickly filled with families and the two women on staff did great and answered all of my questions about the menu. Reasonably priced menu from what I saw and the servings sizes were good for the two of us. We both chowed down and liked our meals. Tipped well and will be a returning customer read more

I've been here about 3 times and each time was good. Food and Drink are excellent including the guacamole. Took my wife and mom here for Mother's Day Lunch recently and we had a wonderful time. Personally enjoy the shrimp quesadillas with sour cream and guac. Service and atmosphere are good and laid back. Definitely want to check ahead for a table though on weekends and holidays. read more

Excellent first impression here (may update in the future as I just moved to area and will for sure be back). I never would've stopped in this place were it not for the good reviews. From the outside it looks like a place that you probably wouldn't want to eat at. But looks can be deceiving. Loved everything we ordered. Looks like it was all made fresh. Delicious chips and salsa. Sizzling plate of beef fajitas was excellent. Very pleasantly surprised by this little hole in the wall here in Princeton. I'll definitely be back at some point to try more. One of the best plates of food I've ever had. Ordered the chipotle chicken zucchini dinner. Absolutely delicious. Every thing was fresh and made from scratch. Tons of street parking. Clean interior. We actually walked from home just to get out a little longer. Got flautas w rice and beans, large guac and a side of beans. Called before we left the house and it was ready when we got there. Restaurant was spotless and quiet. We obviously weren't the only ones doing take-out, there were a few coming and going. Everything was great, rice could use a little spice to it. Other than that, it's all good. Salsa was a good flavor and not too spicy. Everything was still warm when we got back home. Will definitely return! read more

This is kind of one of those places that you would walk into and could easily underestimate and would be WRONG! Food was good, delivered in reasonable time. The waitress provided all the condiments and items requested. She refilled our drinks without being asked, and made sure the kids had what they needed so we could also enjoy our food too. I highly recommend due to several factors and loved our waitress's personality. If you want good service and good food you should visit Rivera's and be sure to ask for Tamra. Also, the revueltas pupusas was really lacking in ingredients; I couldn't taste much pork or beans it was pretty cheese heavy. The chicken taco was just ok it needed way more flavor, but the lengua taco was on point it was very tender and not to fatty. Curtido still hits, mild sauce i could take or leave but the green sauce that I got was great, I hate that I only got 1 small cup because It really added good flavor to my food. I also tried the tres leches which is one of my favorite types of cake and it was not good to me at all. Despite the cake still having a few days before it expired it tasted old to me and had a flavor on the backend that I couldn't identify and made me wary of finishing it. The customer service was good both times and there is a good amount of seating inside. Maybe I caught them on an off day but because this place is not that close to me, it will be a long time before I return. Back on the pupusa hunt!
