Absolutely love the caldo de res. It's been my favorite all the places I've tried. Owner is a sweetheart too.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere authentic. Customer service is great. For what you receive, you'd pay double to quadruple other places

I love supporting my salvadorean local businesses. I called to place a large order of pupusas and wanted extra curtido and tomato salsa for a good amount of pupusas I had ordered. When I got there I was greeted by the owner he was so happy and very talkative my order was ready and while there I ordered drinks kola champagne this is the staple soda of El Salvador . My only complaint when looking through my order was how very little curtido and salsa I received and I Paid extra but he told me I had plenty for the pupusas I ordered I said ok. But I was correct it was too little . Typically they put the sauce and curtido in a little plastic bag but not even half filled. The pupusas were on the smaller side that I'm used to but they were good. One thing that always throws me off is seeing clutter and things I touched were dirty meaning greasy and sticky. This place could really use a deep cleaning and de clutter. Overall the pupusas are average and on the small side curtido was ok was lacking salt and oregano. Still on the search for my go to spot.

This is one of our favorite joints lately. It's review #800 worthy. I've been stopping by this place for lunch to order pupusas and i've been back. Boy have i been back many times! I've been back several weekends in a row. This place is a bit rough around the edges; but it doesn't matter. I usually just take this togo. The pupusas here seem pretty authentic. It's a family run joint. There are usually two ladies back there always folding in pupusa dough and throwing them onto the flat tops. This place gets quite a bit of local traffic. I do recommend just calling in and taking it to go. Our favorite pupusas here are the all three: cheese, pork and beans. All of that for 1.59. Why would anyone go get fast food when you can have these amazing pupusas! My wife and I usually eat 6 of them. I'm a slob and i can eat about 4 of them. All six of them and it comes to about 13 bucks. The pupusas come with a slaw and you eat them with salsa as most pupusas do. P.s. parking on the street is ok as long as you don't park in front of the body shop. You might have to park around the corner on the street in front of the houses.

Caldo de Mariscos. you have to peal the shrimp, crack the crab legs, and fish has spines.

Small hole-in-the wall family owned Salvadorian cuisine. Long wait times! grandma like table sitting area with an organic sense of Hispanic country style tables and chairs. Stick with what you know and what they're known for. Pupusas are moth-watering good while Mexican gorditas and menudo are their worst. I couldn't eat their Caldo de Mariscos, see pictures and video posted. Enjoy your Salvadorian Pupusas, the best in the area.

We had the bean/cheese pupusa, the chicken and the cheese. All 3 were great! I had the picadillo gordita. Hubby had the seafood caldo. We enjoyed everything. The red and green salsas were spicy with great flavor. We also both liked the coleslaw. Small but good food!

One of the best Chicken Soup experiences ever.

Delicious and authentic. Great food, worth the wait and simple surroundings. The family run business and welcoming attitude is infectious. Don't be in a hurry, and take your the time to enjoy.

My first time I came here during my pupusas craving phase and made the trek here in hopes it was as good as I thought it would be. Its located on the corner in downtown Plano, it's a small location with parking behind the building. First time I decided on the queso, chicarron and revueltas( pork, bean and cheese) pupusas. All the pupusas were so good, the revueltas being my favorite. The pork in the revueltas was savory, I could actually taste all the ingredients and it had the perfect amount of cheese. Their salsa was ok, on the mild side. Still searching for a pupusas spot with really spicy sauce, but the curtido is one of my favs because it has that perfect vinegar kick that I love. Now.....I don't know what happened between my first visit and this recent visit which was maybe 4 months apart but it was like night and day in flavor. I ordered the chicharron and revueltas pupusas again but decided to branch out and ordered 1 chicken taco and 1 lengua taco. The pupusas were not the flavorful pupusas I had the first time. Also, the revueltas pupusas was really lacking in ingredients; I couldn't taste much pork or beans it was pretty cheese heavy. The chicken taco was just ok it needed way more flavor, but the lengua taco was on point it was very tender and not to fatty. Curtido still hits, mild sauce i could take or leave but the green sauce that I got was great, I hate that I only got 1 small cup because It really added good flavor to my food. I also tried the tres leches which is one of my favorite types of cake and it was not good to me at all. Despite the cake still having a few days before it expired it tasted old to me and had a flavor on the backend that I couldn't identify and made me wary of finishing it. The customer service was good both times and there is a good amount of seating inside. Maybe I caught them on an off day but because this place is not that close to me, it will be a long time before I return. Back on the pupusa hunt!

We've been here multiple times over the past few years and are usually happy with the taste and quality of the food (4 out of 5). Service is good, nothing special (3.5 out of 5). But we won't be coming back because we don't want to pay the service fee and then tip as well. Where does the service fee go? Do the servers get it? We could accept a small 3% fee for credit card purchases, but a 15% service fee is unreasonable.
