I love me some Taco Casa and this is one of the better locations. The tacos and meat/beef burritos are stuffed full of meat and the lettuce on the tacos is always green, crisp and fresh. It reminds me of what Taco Bell tasted like back in the day! read more

You will know that I really wanted to leave this review because I paused sultans of swing by Dire Straits in order to leave this review. I've been in Florida for four years with my family away from Texas and we haven't had taco Casa in about 15 months. It's ever bit as amazing as it was before. Taco light is a divergent of brilliant flavor, fresh ingredients, and the most wonderfully fried flour tortilla. The staff here was amazing. The food was amazing. And I would recommend this to anyone for lunch on a Monday or your very last meal. read more

I've stopped through to get a bean and cheese burrito on the way home hold me over. Before I open it I looked at my receipt and they gave me a beef burrito. I don't eat hamburger burritos never liked them. Luckily I was going to eat in the parking lot and was able to pull around and tell him to remake it. Well when they did it was still just cold and bland. It was beans and cheese like I wanted but no flavor. And their sauce has vinegar which I don't like. Guess I'm not a Taco casa person. I'll take it home and see if I can make it edible. They said they credit my card the $2 difference rather than give me my money in cash so we'll see if they do. Could be those darn speakers!! I really don't like drive-throughs cuz you're talking through bad audio reproduction. But that only gives them a excuse for the wrong order not a bad final product. read more

The customer service and communication from this store and its management was quite impressive . The food is always delicious and they do a really good job at keeping the food area clean . BJ and Nate gave great customer service and the food was very good! We have one In McKinney and it wasn't even nearly as good as this one ! I'll definitely come back and refer to friends read more

This is strictly a review of the crunchy beef Taco. Taco Casa is a Texas Restaurant company with locations throughout the state. I would say they are competitors of the typical national chains like Taco Bell and Taco Bueno among others. Usually, they only have a single location in an area so a lot of people don't know about them. I would say that if you stick with just the crunchy taco you will be happy. Every time I check out at the grocery store, the flip side of my receipt has a Free Taco coupon from Taco Casa. So I kept it thinking Ill stop by and try it someday. That day was today. Looking at the coupon I notice it had expired(insert mysterious creepy horror film music).! I had an idea what was going to happen when I went inside to claim my Free Crispy Beef Taco. You got it they were going to say, "this has Expired" They did but I ask,?do you want a new customer who comes here to get your tacos or do you want to send me away empty-handed"? The Young man looked perplexed like Oh that makes sense! I got my free taco and they are better crunchy beef tacos than Taco Bell by a long shot. So in the taco fast food review Taco Bell out Taco Casa in! read more

How could someone go to Taco Bell ever again when there is taco casa!! Taco casa is by far the best fast food for tacos than any other taco chain. read more

first off the drive thru person Angel was so rude he didn't give to time to make adjustments on your food ( i.e if you want to remove something ) he was already saying what else like he was rushing. and then they give you for your nach 10 oz of cheese but .5 of meat. like this was horrible and will not be returning read more

I've probably been to 15 or more Taco Casa locations and this one is the absolute BEST! It's seamless and the food is always correct, made neatly and packaged neatly. I wish this manager could go train the Rockwall location which is close to where I live. read more

I discovered Taco Casa during the last couple of years. The discovery took place on my trips from Dallas to New Mexico. In fact, I've grown to look forward to stopping at Taco Casa on my trips. I'm a vegetarian and order the bean burritos each time. Thumbs up on the hot sauce! Fortunately, there are a couple of locations in Dallas and though on the other side of town I do make a pilgrimage. The service and ambiance have always been perfectly fine...overall I rate Taco Casa a 5. I'll take it over a Mexican restaurant at which I'd be paying 2 to 3 times as much. read more

Tacos at Taco Casa are EXCELLENT, far better than Taco Bell or Taco Bueno or any of the other fast food taco chain restaurants. The shells are more crispy and the ground beef and veggies are always fresh and delicious. While on the road, I have learned to expect the same quality regardless of the location. The service is consistently good and the restaurants are clean and comfortable. What more could you ask? read more

I'm a Taco Casa fan. The food is simple, but fresh and served up hot. I generally stick with a been burrito, soft taco, or chilada (large beef enchilada). Steer clear of nachos unless you're a fan of tin can nacho cheese sauce. Taco Casa, in my opinion, is miles better than the ubiquitous Taco Bell - better quality ingredients and fresher tastes. There's a shabby chic decor - kind of a 79s retro branding feel to the stores, and it works. read more

Taco Casa - Lunch for two. Bean burrito, super taco, & tostada (did not need to order extra cheese ). - Mexican Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Great fast food tex-mex! I've tried avoiding fast food restaurants but I couldn't resist after reading the great reviews. This place is minutes from campus and I'm glad I stopped by! The ingredients were FRESH... from the ground beef, crispy green lettuce, diced and non soggy tomatoes and finely shredded cheddar. I tried the chilada which was very flavorful especially with their hot sauce. The portion sizes are more than filling. I over did it ordering both a chilada and a taco and was stuffffed. I'll never go to Taco Bell or those other chains as long as this place stays around. I see many late night runs here in the future. Yum!! read more

Taco Casa - I over did it when I asked for extra cheese but it was goood! - Mexican Near Me - Dallas, Texas

For the third time in about a month the Maplewood location in Wichita Falls has either shorted my hot sauce packet request, once, or failed to put any at all in my order, twice now. Last week I dropped almost $40 on an order, only to get home and find no hot sauce packs. I contacted the store and spoke to the Manager on duty who was rude, didn't offer to address the issue or even offer an apology. I was given a number for the franchise owner and left a message, but received no response. I even messaged the company through their official website, but after a week no response either. VERY disappointing and inexcusable. I will take my business to Taco Cabana next time who has a fresh salsa bar and doesn't bend you over and screw you on your order! Thanks for nothing Taco Casa! read more

Hands down best fast-food TexMex in DFW. Taco Casa may not have the variety of Taco Bell, but unlike Taco Bell, Taco Casa NEVER disappoints. Always delicious and consistent. read more

First, come in with some low expectations. This is fast food Mexican food from a gas station. There is nothing fancy going on here on the food or on the aesthetics. That being said, I have been to other Taco Casa locations that rocked the Casa, this was not one of those locations. The food was just not very good. The prices were higher than other locations, and several tables needed cleaning. I understand this is not a first class operation, but have a little pride folks. read more

Hands down better than Taco Bell, Taco Cabana and all fast food Mexican fast food. Food is fresh and hot. Combo Burrito, Tostada!

Ordered my first taco today and it sucked. Like it was made in the morning, not after i ordered it. Not crispy at all. Got to do better Athens read more

We love going to this place over the Taco Cabana that is right next to it for a couple reasons. 1) you get more for your money and I really think the tacos fast fantastic. but most importantly 2) they hire employees that know what is on the menu. Why do I say that because if you just go through the drive through at Taco Cabana next to this shop and ask for something that is on their drive through menu... the answer all the time has been "WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IS ON THE DRIVETHROUGH MENU"... yeah must be college kids from that highly regarded university in the area. Good food and friendly staff. and dirt cheap. read more

Well.. This location is attached to a gas station. That doesn't bother me.. It's busy. Dirty tables. Gets crowded. Really crowded. The food: I ordered two Super Tacos. They're HUGE! Taste: not bad. Decent favors Next I ordered a side of beans. Served in a plastic bowl, they add yellow cheese on top along w their spicy sauce. Taste: not a fan. I know it's fast food, but it was sloppy too salty Would I go back, yes. But just order something different read more

Taco Casa - Toastada, enchilada and burrito! - Mexican Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I'm going all in, with the understanding this is a fast food joint. There is nothing fancy about it, and this particular location is in a gas station and it is cramped. Which is a disappointment because it's the closest to my house, and because TC is building some really nice stand-alone restaurants these days. so let me go on the record to say we need a BIG new TC at 190 and Jupiter or Plano road near the new City Line development! Moving on, for fast food, I just love TC. The tacos are great, as are the burritos, taco salad, etc.... Nothing fancy, just tasty food, cheap, quick, easy. One thing I particularly like is their hot sauce. Best flavor of any hot sauce, reminds me of red chili sauce from New Mexico. read more

Not a fan. The good: The tortilla chips are delicious. The bad: The rest of the expensive nachos were a huge waste of money. Cheese sauce was eh. Timely portion of meat and beans. I'm okay with cheap nachos as long as they are inexpensive. But these were cheaply made and expensively priced for what you get. Go somewhere cheaper. read more

Taco Casa - Mexican Near Me - Dallas, Texas

This location is the only one in the area that serves UNDER COOKED food that's been laying out, and HAS given me food poisoning twice. I'm tired of giving business to a place who clearly doesn't know what a business entails. A big Part of having a business is customer satisfaction, and this is the worse experience I've ever had with a fast food place in 19 years. I bought 4 tacos, and the first bite I took of my soft taco, I spit out into a napkin. My girlfriend and sister even smelled it and looked at it and they said it smelled bad and looked like it was under cooked and laying out for a long time. My meat was more of a pale color than a brown color.... isn't meat brown when FULLY cooked? Thanks. I want a refund for this disservice! read more

live less than 15 mins from Coit Rd Location. I've visited twice..both times food was cold and presentation horrible. However, the location on Cockrell Hill in Duncanville AND the Lancaster, TX locatuins are AWESOME! Heck, I'd drive 35-45 minutes for good food! The franchisee on Coit Rd, check your shift managers. You're paying them too much hon!! read more

Never again, this is the absolute worst Taco Casa. The prices continue to rise and the quality continues to go down. The owner is greedy and cheap. You can go to the location in Gainesville and the prices are 30% less and the quality is more than twice as good. I'd be shocked if this location survives. read more

Have you changed your meat mix? Something is different. I guess I can mark Cast Taco off my list. Im very disappointed.

Love this place! Had Taco Casa for the first time last night and couldn't be happier. One of my biggest pet peeves is how skimpy taco joints are with their cheese. Not a problem with Taco Casa, they load the beef, lettuce and cheese on. It's a basic menu with basic fresh ingredients and done well. You just cant go wrong with the crunchy tacos and combo burrito. And the hot sauce is a perfect compliment to the food. Please don't try to compare this place to the likes of Taco Bell and Taco Bueno, they just aren't in the same category. I am seeing a lot of future trips to Taco Casa! Growing up near Arcadia, CA we had a place just like this called Taco Lita, same ingredients, same taste, similar menu and even the same orange and yellow color scheme. It's a bit of a local landmark there. Really wondering if there is some connection between Taco Casa and Taco Lita, the similarities are uncanny. The only difference is the sauce. Almost the same flavor but Taco Casa's definitely has more kick to it which I enjoyed. Anyway, this place brought me back to my childhood and wanted to share for any Taco Lita transplants that are looking for that same great taste in Texas! read more

When they say don't judge a book by its cover, they were referring to Taco Casa. The outside of this location looks incredibly shady, but once you reach inside comfort sets in and all is well. Some of the reviews on yelp mentioned how it's a step above Taco Bell, but that can be debatable. Some Taco Bell locations are just poorly managed, while others consistently deliver quality food. I can easily say the Taco Bell on X street is way better than the Taco Bell on Y street. Catch my drift? Anyways, Taco Casa is definitely better than Del Taco and Taco Cabana. They give out generous portions of toppings, and the taco shells are very crunchy. My only gripe is the meat mixture is not very flavorful. Hot sauce must be added. They only offer 1 type of hot sauce for your taco's and it's quite inferior compared to other places, but I'm not going to drop a star based on condiments. Service was friendly and the establishment was very clean and organized. read more

Taco Casa - One happy birthday party. Lol looks like a pot head meal. - Mexican Near Me - Dallas, Texas

The food tastes like plastic, we didn't wait very long for our food which was nice. But the lights kept on going off as if they were trying to kick my group out at 11PM. Completely unsatisfactory behavior. We arrived a few minutes ago only to ignored by each staff as they looked at us and laughed as if ignoring customers is okay. The hours posted on Yelp say until midnight. The hours on the window say 1:00am so is NO ONE, not one single person willing to help us. To top things off it was a drive for us to get here. We only came because I had been craving a chilada. Waste of time, energy and gas. A customer you won't ever see again. read more

Are you looking for cheap, filling, tex-mex with plenty of cheese? Then Taco Casa is for you! It's not fancy. But it's tasty, filling, and very affordable. This location is attached to a gas station and it's right next to a Taco Cabana. On Tuesdays they have $0.99 tacos. I wish I was going to be in town longer so I could gorge myself on next Tuesday. This place provides much better food, and more of it, for Taco Bell level of prices. read more

I am a big Taco Casa fan, but this one is terrible. They serve the absolute greasiest food ever. I order super tacos the last time I went and the orange grease was dripping from the wrapper. I'm talking about one drop, more like it poured it out of it. Very poor quality and standards from this Taco Casa establishment. I had hard time even giving it one star. read more
