The steak in the burrito was very dry and hard to get down without drowning it in the sour cream and guacamole. The tortilla chips were chewy and did not taste fresh. The only positives were the Spanish rice and their guacamole. They were friendly and placing the order of the phone was easy. Overall, I will choose to spend my money at other establishments.

The chorizo tasted like a low-quality, filler-heavy product with an artificial heat rather than the rich, well-seasoned flavor you'd expect. The tacos were average but didn't stand out in any way. Service was friendly throughout the evening, but our server wasn't very familiar with the menu and couldn't answer several questions about the dishes. Despite having a reservation, the meal took nearly two hours from start to finish. Our bill came to about $60 for two adults with no alcohol, and based on the overall experience, it didn't represent a good value. The restaurant's greatest asset is unquestionably its location. Sitting along the Erie Canal is a wonderful experience, and Fairport is one of the most charming villages in the Rochester area. This afternoon, after eating literally hundreds of their tacos over the last few years, I tried their smash burger. Absolutely outstanding! Might be the best burger in town as well, it's honestly that good. And only $10! A few weeks ago I had a burger from a local restaurant for $20, which seems to be the going rate, and it paled in comparison to their oh!-so-tasty-you-can't-stop-licking-your-fingers burger! And if you ask, they'll customize it for you with a fried egg, or in my case, with lots of extra fried onions. Their torta sandwiches have also garnered a cult following due to their packed ingredients and massive size, still just for $14. If you're lucky, in the warmer months Eduardo might be serving some of his delicious aqua frescas, or even better, some of his incredible lemonade beverages. Sooooo refreshing! The bonus: you get to hang out with these cool and friendly guys Eduardo & Carlos, as well as their friendly staff who work so hard to make your food so delicious.
