As I havent been in for a while I was surprised that ordering in the restaurant is now mostly self-order from a kiosk. I guess I'm not surprised as self check out in stores has been almost the norm for the last several years and seems to be increasing. I have no doubt that in time robots will be preparing the food and employees will a quaint memory. The inside of the restaurant seems to have been updated and was very clean and well organized. Customer service acknowledging that there's people in the lobby waiting on him to pick up orders that are sitting on the counter for a very long time because no one communicates and I'm not even talking about my order I'm talking about another guy that was in there waiting and they finished his order and just put it on the counter and totally forgot that he was here to pick it up and he didn't get it until after I got mine and there shouldn't be a big list on telling delivery drivers what they need to do maybe train your employees properly and have them do their job. I used to come to this Taco Bell 3-4 times out of the week and the food was decent. Now it's total crap. They must have gotten a new manager and employees. Worst Taco Bell you can go to. My go-to's are the cheesy gordita crunch, chalupas, beefy melt burritos, and lately the nachos bell grande and cheesy rice and bean burrito too. Service was great -- friendly, helpful that I had not studied their menu in many a year. Helpful in letting me change up some item choices. I thought the pizza included in my order was a little strange, but I think it's just because you expect pizza. . . and then it's just a flat taco. They are always out of everything. No chips? No meat? No soft tacos? Only take exact change? ALL AT THE SAME TIME. This has happened the past four times. I've spaced out my visits just to see if any of the issues could be resolved; however, they never are. On the most recent visit, the cashier even voiced to my partner and I a complaint about the upcoming drive thru customers, "UGH, customers!" Look, I don't except exceptional service at any Taco Bell, but this interaction tonight was asinine. My boyfriend and I ordered at the Drive-Thru. The attendant didn't ask if everything was right, which we didn't think anything of, until he noticed a few items missing. Once we got to the window, he politely mentioned that the order was incorrect and asked if we could add these items. The cashier, Jimisha, said (in a very patronizing and condescending tone): "This is why we ask if everything is correct. One of you said yeah" (we did not). She then scoffed, rolled her eyes, added the items and sing-songingly said (as if speaking to a toddler): "Will there be anything else?". Maybe we should have said something prior to pulling up, but I am incredibly disappointed in her specific reaction. She became friendly after that, as if she knew she messed up by being a jerk. With that said, she did not offer an apology for her tone of voice. I work in the service industry, and if this was my employee, they would never speak to anyone in that manner. I don't expect anything in condolence for this transaction but I think (and hope) management sees this, so they can understand how their staff treats their patrons. The lady at the drive-through window gets sassy with me because she put in a large Dr Pepper and a regular chips and queso which is the only size chips they have which that's just fine. Taco Bell was one of the first fast food restaurants to revolutionize the late not binging of cheap, greasy, unhealthy food for the drunk crowd. I applaud and appreciate them for this, but also for being a staple in my life. I can fondly remember eating taco bell after a boy scout camping weekend or seeing how many tacos one could eat in high school. There menu is always in constant change. Sometimes for the better (Doritos Tacos?) and sometimes for the worst (those stupid Lorena Garcia "gourmet" bowls). What I have always enjoyed were the chili cheese burritos or chilitos. They were may favorite menu item. Full of beefy and cheesy flavor. The best part though was getting down to the last few bites, where the filling had sunk into the bottom of the burrito, creating a meat and cheese oozing tortilla balloon that only benefited with the addition of taco bells signature hot sauce to every bite. Unbeknownst to me, this the chilito was a specialty item that has been slowly fazed out across the country. I believe that the midwest was the last remaining area to carry it as a staple. That is until this Saturday. Where upon drive through I blindly ordered two of them only to be informed by the slightly angry employee that they are no longer a menu item. Shock! Horror! Sadness! Really, i had no idea that it was a specialty item and swear that I had ordered some only weeks before. I was given no notice of their discontinuation. Such grief has had as I was forced to order a Doritos taco and a spicy chicken grilled roller as a poor replacement. Seriously though, how can the chilito not be a menu item. Had the breakfast waffle taco and it was horrible. There was no taste to it. If it had not been for the syrup I would not have tasted it. I ordered the bacon taco and would not recommend. It's Taco Bell. I lower my bar of expectation if I'm drunk enough to say something like, "TACO BELL, JEEVES!" and force my husband to drive me here on the way home from a night out. But here's what cool about THIS Taco Bell...though most every other one in town is staffed with people who just DGAF, this one has a manager who knows her stuff and takes pride in offering great service and professionalism. She actually remembers us even when it's been months since my last visit, and is always friendly and on top of things. So while this place is just a Taco Bell, I'm impressed that the manager thinks of it as something MORE than JUST a Taco Bell. So this location gets an A-OK from me. read more

I went through the drive through at 6:45. There was no one behind me, it wasn't busy. I order a taco box that comes with a drink, so I order Dr. Pepper. When I pulled up to the window the woman asked if I wanted something else to drink because "she knew I didn't want to wait." To which I said, "I only want Dr. Pepper." She seemed unhappy with my response but left the window. I wasn't in a hurry, I didn't mind waiting especially with no one behind me. When she came back to the window a few minutes later she took my credit card then handed me my drink and card. Then without asking if I wanted sauce she handed me my box of food and left the window. When I got home and tried the Dr. Pepper it was all carbonation. When I began to eat my food it was clear that it wasn't freshly made because my tacos were so soggy the oils had soaked through the shells. On the regular taco I received, it was so stale that it was wrapped in a second shell (Pictures provided). Overall underwhelmed with the service I received. It's not the first time this has happened at this location. I work in retail, I know how a customer wants to be treated and how an employee should respond to a customer, whether you like it or not. I just visited this Taco Bell on my home from work today to get my family some food. I pull up and place my order and start searching for my wallet in purse when I get to the window only to realize it is not there. I tell the girl at the window that they need to stop the order because I can't find my wallet. I get on the phone with my husband really quick to ask if it maybe fell out of my purse. While I'm on the phone I can hear two employee's talking back and forth to each other (one being the girl standing at the window) asking "What is she doing, is she going to sit there all day?", along with a few other extremely rude comments. Let me just say there were no other cars behind me so it's not like I was holding up the line or anything. When I asked for the manager's name and her name I found out that she was in fact the manager herself. I give my business to this store frequently and I don't appreciate at all the way they were speaking about me to where I could hear. I can't believe that this is how a manager behaves! I can't believe I have given these people my money only to be treated badly. I will NEVER be giving any this or any Taco Bell my business again. read more
