The food is average for Taco Bell. It's what you'd expect. The service is awful at this location. Everything and everyone is slow, grumpy and in no rush or hurry to take care of the customers. Drive-thru is a joke. I ordered 2 meals and 2 drinks thru the app...I went to drive-thru for pickup...when I got there 5 minutes later, the line of cars was already 5 deep and not moving. We sat in line for 20 minutes before getting to the window. Then, we sat at the window for another 10 minutes waiting for our order. If I hadn't paid already thru the app, I would've just drove off. Terrible service. Waiting in the drive-thru line for 40 minutes to not be served. Drove into the drive thru and waited 20 mins before getting to the order kiosk. Spoke loudly and addressed the kiosk several times for 10 minutes waiting to hear from the attendant, only to hear nothing. Pulled forward and waited longer, finally driving to the window for the attendant to give us the order total of the car behind us. We told them we didn't get a chance to order our food because no one addressed us at the kiosk, to which the attendant said "we can't take orders at the window. If it was possible to give 0 stars I absolutely would. I ordered on the mobile app and went inside to pick up my order. Several people who came in after and ordered after me were served before I was. I also saw the drive through line moving. I went up several times to different workers asking when my order would be completed and each time they said they were working on it. One girl when I asked the final time said "I should have said something and spoke up" after I asked other workers when my order would be ready. I had a very very long day and I work in hospitality (bartender) and she just let me vent while I was ordering and figuring out what I wanted because I didn't want any of it truthfully.. but I came to taco bell because im.in my feelings!! Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food chain. Completely botched my order. I asked for the number 8 regular with no tomatoes. Confirmed as the three locos tacos as well as a steak quesadilla. Got to the window and they told me my price was over $40. Told them there was no way, but they insisted I had ordered three of the meals. I didn't want to argue so just went with it. Got home. I love this Taco Bell with all my heart and stomach! The service is always amazing and fast. Food quality is always 100%. Couldn't ask for a better Taco Bell that's close to home. Tonight I came through the drive through 15 minutes before they were closing and the lovely cashier let me know it would be a minute because she was making fresh potatoes for my spicy potato soft taco. Never in my life has anyone at Taco Bell made me fresh potatoes. The recipe says her name is Dominique so if that's you girl I hope you get a raise because you were wonderful compared to Gibsonton Taco Bell or any fast food restaurant really. Haven't been for a while because of previous bad experiences. Well, shouldn't have gone this time either! Went through the drive thru, girl taking the order got it wrong three times while we kept repeating what we needed. The only pleasant part of this was the other girl at the window banding out orders, she was very nice! Got the order and pulled away only to realize we were missing a soft taco and the two chicken chipotle melts were wrong and we had two of the new chicken cantina tacos. Went back and went in. Took 15 minutes before what I'm assuming was a manager (because he was in an Oxford shirt and all others were in tshirts) even acknowledged I was there. I told him the issue, he looked at me like he had no idea and asked "avocado"? I never once said avocado or had anything with avocado on it. I then reexplained it, he looked in the bag and said "that's them" to which I explained a third time that they were wrong. They fixed them and brought the bag, I asked for mild sauce (the first order was all hot even though I asked for mild) and he turned around and dropped a handful of hot sauce in the bag. I told him no, mild, and another worker said "you can just get your sauce out there". Never an apology. Drove away only to realize they also missed the "no tomatoes" but at this point I just kept on driving.
